This is our very first live YouTube. And I gotta tell you, I'm so excited today because we are going to be talking about the future of astrology. And not only just the future of astrology, but the conference that I've put together because this is what it's all about, where astrology is headed, where it's.
Going in the future.
And I decided to put on a conference so that we could bring this ancient wisdom and into the future. And with that I brought together some amazing speakers. And today I wanted to introduce SRI which has a fantastic lecture and we're going to talk about that. And let me just say this is going to be one of a kind conference. Never before have we done something like this because I'm going to have everybody over to my house. We're going to have a lot of fun. We're going to be able to share ideas, come together with our knowledge and network, meet some new friends, new people. This is it, Dallas, Texas, October 5th through the 7th. So put it on your calendar. Just check out our website, you're going to be amazed. This is exciting. So with that, I really want, first of all, we're going to take a lot of questions here. We want this to be an interaction, but we're going to take the questions at the end because we've got a lot to talk about. I want to share some things about Sri. She is a wonderful Vedic astrologer.
So true. So, sree, let's hear a little bit about your story and what you're all about and how you got into this.
That's a very interesting story. And before that, my full name is Sri Kala Ram and people who are close to me refer to me as Sri because it's easier. And I grew up, I was born and I grew up in Kuwait, but my parents were Indians so you know, we visited India a lot. I always wanted to be an engineer, so, so I went to college to become an engineer and I grew up and got a job. I came here to us working for a software company. When I first got into astrology was through this wonderful woman here.
Back in the year 2009, I came to Jodi for a reading and at that time I was like, there's no way she can know anything about me. But I came to her for the reading and the first five minutes she astounded me. I mean, she knew everything about me and I was like, how is that possible?
And, you know, I have like a scientific mind to begin with because of my training in engineering and everything. So I was like, I need to get to the bottom of this. How does this work? And that's when I started learning astrology and everything I know I learned from Jimmy. And I started my own astrology business. And, you know, with the grace of my teacher and, you know, the grace of God, I have a lot of clients and we have a good time, you know, talking about astrology. I work in Joni's University as a tutor, a great time teaching students astrology because we want to bring more people into this knowledge. It's an ancient wisdom. We want more people to know what it is. And I have my own YouTube channel, and that's kind of how I came into astrology. And I'm still here in astrology. And it's like we've not even scratched the surface. It's like a vast science. I mean, there is so much to learn and I don't even know if I can, you know, learn a little bit of it in this lifetime. That would be great, right? Just, just a little bit of knowledge. But it is, it is an amazing science. And, you know, if you're a beginner and you, you're curious about astrology, you know, come to our conference because you can get a lot by coming to this conference and learning from all these, you know, people, seasoned astrologers, you know, they've been in this industry for a long time. So I hope you really can come.
Good. Well, and now I want to know more about what you're going to be speaking about, because I know that you chose a really interesting topic and that was one of the things that the topics needed to be somehow where they brought this wisdom into the future, how we can use astrology in the future and, you know, individually, all of us, how we can benefit from it. So tell us a little bit about what you're going to be talking about.
Absolutely. So when you first came to me, Jenny, you know, talking to me about the conference and, you know, you gave me an opportunity to speak, you know, very grateful for that, but one of the things I was really excited about was, of course I'm excited about the fact that I get to meet all of you there. But, you know, one thing that really excited me was the fact that I had the perfect topic to talk about because the concept of this conference is we are trying to bring an ancient science. And this originated back in 15, 2000 BC. We are bringing that into the new world. Right. And we're kind of stepping into the future with this concept and trying to find more things about it, you know, discover more about it. And the topic that I'm going to talk about is something called the Shishtadasha ruler. And I know it's like a tongue twister, so we refer to it as SD Ruler. Back in India, you know, the astrologers used this concept to kind of find out the remaining balance of a person's dasha when they are born. And I kind of researched a lot and found that it's. You can use that particular concept, the dasha ruler, and take the rulership of that remaining part of the dasha and figure out the life path of this individual.
Wow.
It's like you can get the big picture.
That is cool.
And I had to apply, you know me, I had to apply to like, more than 100 charts to kind of make sure that it works because we have a hypothesis and then we have to make it a theorem, and that's the proving part of it. But with a lot of this research, I think it works. It really does work. And I'm so excited to share it with you guys because first of all, it's something near and dear to me. I've been working on it for a long time. And also it is in keeping with what this conference is all about. It's about bringing a concept and finding out more about it and stepping into the future with it. So I'm really excited to bring it to the conference.
Oh, I'm excited. I can't wait to hear her talk. Because we're always expanding. It's like we have this toolbox that we keep adding all these fabulous tools that help us, help us in understanding people and our lives and improving our lives. That's really what astrology, why we get into it, and predicting the future. So I want to remind everyone that this conference, regardless of what level that you're at, you will get something out of it. Because whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced, this conference has it all. And I'm going to be giving my predictions for 2019-2020. There is something that I see in these years that I've never seen before. This is monumental. So you're gonna wanna be there not only to share and to pick our brains. I know because I love social events.
And.
My moon is in Pthalguni. And that's always. We've always laughed because we said that's a party, not chakra, because I love social interaction with people. I love to meet people. So I really hope that I get to meet you. And like I said, there's only two weeks left and we still have some opening. So this is, this is exciting. Right, Exactly.
I don't think something like that has ever happened before and we want to continue the tradition, but it's the first time this is ever happening where you have something talking about the future of astrology.

So you, when you come to this conference, you will leave the conference with a lot of knowledge you have. You'll be equipped with a lot of new information which was never revealed before. And, you know, like Joni said, no matter, you're a beginner, you're a seasoned astrologer, the entire spectrum of people are going to be there. And it's a great opportunity to meet and connect and socialize, you know, and take that couple of days off for yourself and do something to empower yourself. And we hope to see you here in Dallas.
