Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about the new moon which happens November 1st. This new moon will be 15 degrees of Libra. Now I've got to remind everyone I do sidereal Vedic astrology, not western tropical. That is why my positioning is different than what you may be familiar with with western astrology. But remember, I am a sole believer that the Vedic system system is very powerful because it is actually the true placements of where the planets are according to astronomy. So with that, let me continue on. This New Moon at 15 degrees of Libra is very strong because it is right smack dab in the center of the sign. This gives library power. What is Libra all about? It's about balance and it is about justice. Remember, the symbol for Libra is the scale. And here we are just a few days out from the political.
Elections in the United States November 5th. So this new moon can definitely indicate something, something that's to come. Do we ever need this time of justice and balance? It seems like everything that Libra is about is off balance for sure. And let me explain why during the time of this new Moon and actually this is November 3rd, that we're going to have the Pluto Mars opposition. But truly right now it's there. I give a 3 degree orb and it is there. I'm looking at Mars at 4 degrees and Pluto at 5 degrees. Mars is now in Cancer. It's debilitation signs. So things are going haywire with people emotionally. People are going off the rockers. Pluto is expanding it and making it crazier than ever. Pluto is about transformation and change. But I gotta say Pluto, Mars deal with violence. And this affects the wars going on around the world, attacks. That's what this could mean.
And of course this new moon.
Represents that we need peace. Now this new moon actually occurs in the Nakshatra called Swati. Swati symbol is a blade of grass that blows in the wind.
And what this can mean is that people are going with whatever it, wherever it takes them. Especially.
The area of politics. People will say whatever they need to say to appease people. That's what Swati is actually the best Nakshatra for a businessman. Because that's exactly what people in business have to do. Listen to customers and sway whatever way the customer throws their thoughts or ideas, whatever. It's someone that has a control in a conversation. So be aware too during the time of this full this new Moon that people are going to be very swayed in their opinions and what they're doing now. Another thing is during this month Saturn is stationing. You're going to hear me talk about this. And it is at a pivotal point where it is actually aspecting by a trinal aspect. The sun, the Moon. This actually means it is a time for discipline, focus, karma, karma. Karmic repercussions are showing up heavily right now. But if we look at this new Moon and we notice that Mars is actually in a square aspect from where the sun and Moon sit. This actually represents that there are major issues in the world with power and where it's going. But most of all, Mars being in the sign of Cancer. Cancer is ruled by the Moon. So this new Moon is very powerfully received and have to say people are truly angry and upset because this new Moon in Libra connects to Mars in Cancer. And Mars in Cancer is all about anger and violence. And Pluto disrupts the whole situation all the more. Now Venus is important here. I'll tell you why with the new moon being in Libra. Libra's ruled by Venus and Venus is in the sign of Scorpio. Which means this is a very intense new moon that people are wanting to make peace, but they can't.
They can't because Venus and the Moon are connected through the Moon. Being in the Libra. So therefore.
There is so much that is at odds right now. You got to admit there is no peace. This new Moon is at odds. People are swaying and changing their opinions, changing what they have to say in order to manipulate things. That's another thing. Saturn dealing with the heavy karmas. People won't get away with it. Now that's a good thing I think. People won't get away with their, their changing and manipulation of other people. That's actually one of the core issues. I think this new moon's going to bring out the manipulation through conversation with, through communications that are going on. And.
Jupiter and Venus, this is another thing, are actually opposed to each other around the time of this new moon and within about, well it's going to be within about three days, which actually that would be November 4th, the day before the elections. Jupiter and Venus opposed each other. Something positive will come out that will shift things. And this new Moon represents something new is about to be explored and come out. Could this mean that something in the elections, because this is like four days before the elections, November 1st, that there's something new that comes out that shifts and changes the outcome of the elections.
There's a lot of manipulation going on. The Moon is in Swati. It's a new moon. It is a new beginning of something.
Yes, something's about to switch.
And it deals with a sense of justice, it deals with a sense of retribution, it deals with a sense of karma. This new Moon's going to bring something incredibly powerful out.
Pluto opposing Mars. It's so complicated right now. It's hard to put my finger on exactly what's going on because I see violence, threats of war.
People at odds with each other, with the Moon, with Mars in cancer. The Moon is.
The dispositing planet of Mars and it's new. So new violence, new angers, things are coming out.
And these are very karmic retributions too with Saturn making its stance here. So I gotta say the Venus, Jupiter opposition that are happening around November 4th means something positive will finally come out of all of the manipulation.
I have to say some kind of justice. This is the middle of Libra, smack dab in the middle, wanting to find peace and justice. You know I always say Libras are the ones people with a lot of Libra planets, they can't make up their mind. And the reason why that is Libras can usually see both sides of a situation equally as well. And therefore it's very hard to make a judgment. But that's another reason why Libra is the sign of justice because you have to see both sides to make a good.
Adjustment or a good decision. It's very hard for Libras when you see both sides but this Jupiter Venus something good comes out and something powerful that could cause a lot of anger but it does deal with justice and truth.
And will eventually and we won't see it for a while bring peace. So that's what I see all of that in the prospects of this brand new new moon that sets the stage and sets the cycle for the next two weeks till we have the full moon which will bring in the results of what this new moon was all about.
