How to Predict Airline Crashes: Should I Fly ?

Joni Patry, a former flight attendant, uses astrology to analyze airline crashes. She points to quincunxes and yods in natal charts as warning signs, and argues that outer-planet activity like Uranus and Pluto correlates with major aviation disasters including Lockerbie, MH370, and MH17.

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about something serious, and that is airplane crashes. Because I think it's pretty notable that you can see, see particular signs for these problems and even definitely there may be a problem going on in the heavens causing a plane to crash. But don't forget, there are, I don't know how many hundreds of thousands of airplanes that take off each day practically at the same time, and there's not a crash. So I. A lot of it has to do with some of the karma of the people on the airplanes. And if you have some particular things in your chart, you're not going to want to get on an airplane. But let me share with you guys something I was a flight attendant for many years, and I used to see bad days to fly. Could I call in sick or not go to work? No. So you got to just realize that, you know, people ask me all the time, should I go fly on this day? I mean, like, really, I would do sometimes 8 takeoff and landings in one day. I'm just like, you know, it's got to really have something horrific in your chart. And it will. On a day that there's an airline crash and you may be involved, it's extraordinarily rare. Do not forget, you're safer on an airplane than driving. So let me show you a few examples of some of the things I've learned throughout my years about airplane crashes. So the very first chart I want to put up is the 1988 Pan Ams crash. That was one of the first terrorist attacks, and it had a bomb on it that exploded when the plane went to a certain level over Lockerbie, Scotland. Some of you may not remember that, but let me tell you a little bit. Let's put this chart up. And this was, of course, the time that the airplane took off. And. And it was. It just took off. Let's see, out of.
Yeah, well, it. It had crashed over Lockerbie, Scotland. But looking at this airplane.
Notice the most important thing in this. Remember, this is a. It's pretty much a transit chart for the day. And the time that this aircraft was actually exploded. And the sun is almost exactly conjunct Uranus. And let me explain something to you. Uranus is the planet that rules airplanes flying, but it also deals with unexpected events that you cannot see coming. So that's the main feature I want to point out in this chart. But one thing I found to be pretty exact when airplanes crash, and I found this in so Many people's charts that I had the chart data for individuals that died on 9 11. I did a whole workshop on that. This was probably maybe 15 years ago. And let me just say this, I felt kind of depressed and sick after that. So I'm not doing that anymore. But I'm just going to do this brief video on this, just so you get an idea. But the aspect I look for the most is called the Queen Kunk so or in conjunct they both mean the same thing and swim. Planets are approximately 150 degrees separated from each other. So if you add them all up in the 360Zodiac, they will be 150 degrees from each other. But I have an easy way to do this. In Vedic astrology we call this a Shastaka aspect, which actually means 8668. So this is where the planets, if you count from one to the other one, if a transiting planet goes six or eight placements tightly to a natal planet, then if it goes six placements and you count back around to where the transit or the natal planet is, you will go to eight placements. So if it's six placements from one, if you can't back around it will be eight. Or if you count from one planet to the other one and it's eight placements, then you count back around from that point it'll be six. That's why it's called six, eight or eight six. So let me show you. In this chart there will be tons of these in conjuncts or 6, 8, 8, 6 relationships. Look at Mars. When you look at Mars and you count to where Mars is from Pluto to count around from Mars all the way around going forward in clockwise motion, Pluto is eight placements from Mars. And if you would count back from Pluto to Mars, it's 6. But notice how tight the degrees are. Mars is 21 and Pluto is 20. These are the conjunctions that cause these kind of issues. Because let me put it this way. If you know what the sixth house means, accidents, enemies, you know, in obstacles, and you know what the eighth house means, which is death and ending scandal, tragedy.
Then that's what you combine. Accidents and tragedy and death. That's a 6, 8 relationship. So if you'll notice also where Jupiter and the sun are in this chart, go to Jupiter.
And then count from Jupiter to the Sun. Really Jupiter, where it's located in this chart, everything goes eight placements from Jupiter. But the sun is pretty tight. And if you will look at that, the sun is at 6 degrees and Jupiter's at 3 degrees. And they are counting from Jupiter to the sun, it's eight. Counting back from the sun to Jupiter, the Moon, you have six. So that's what I look for the most. Also, if you look at where the Moon is from Pluto, count from the Moon to Pluto. The moon is at 17 degrees of Taurus, count to Pluto, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, where it is within 3 degrees of being exact at 20 degree Pluto, count back around to the Moon. Once again.
You'Ve got a 6, 8 or 86 relationship. Now when you look at where Mars is located to Pluto and then you look where Jupiter is.
Aspecting.
The sun, you're going to have. Well, no, let me take that back. Here is something. When you have a lot of yods in a chart, I mean a lot of quincunxes, which are 8, 6 or 68 relationships, then you might have a yod, which means the finger of God. There is nothing more incongruent or difficult than I believe a yod in a chart. But it usually can produce something good in the end. But not in these cases. So what is a yod? It's like when you have two planets that are sextile each other, which means they're three signs away going back and forth. So if you'll look at.
When you look at where Mars is relative to where Pluto is, of course you've got that quincunx. But then when you go to where the Moon is and the moon, I'm using the moon. Jupiter is a wide orb, but the Moon is a close orbit. Moon being 17 and Mars being 21, they're sextile, which a sextile is when you count three signs away. 1, 2, 3. And then both those two planets cause a YOD to a third planet and that is Pluto. And just consider Mars and Pluto in the Moon. This is emotional. This can deal with death. So Pluto is the God of the underworld and all of its meanings do relate to the eighth house. So there is a perfect yacht between.
Mars causing a quincunx to Jupiter and the Moon causing a quincunx to Jupiter. And those two planets, Mars and Moon, are in a sextile. So the finger of God was active during this particular crash. So there's many other things in this chart. But I want to move on to a couple of more to prove some of my points here. The next one I want to move on to is the Malaysian flight. Let's see, we're going to go first to the Malaysian flight of.
What is it? I don't there's the one I want to go to, Flight 370. So the Flight 370 was the one that took off from Malaysia and it disappeared and never to be heard of again. And let me just say this one, here we go. This one I actually did a YouTube video on many years ago. You may find it in YouTube, you may not. But I said, I called it. People said I was crazy and I called it. I said we'll never know what happened on that flight. Why? Because pulling up this chart.
It disappeared in the Indian Ocean, never to be heard from. They did find some wreckage, but never knew what happened. And Neptune sits right on the Najer in this chart. The Najer is the fourth house cusp. It's exactly opposite the midhaven in a chart and it was right there at 11 degrees of Aquarius and Neptune sits on it. Neptune means it's deep, it's dark. We will never know the truth. And I believe because the sun is there, it had something to do with the leader of the flight, could have been the captain.
But most importantly, looking at this chart, you're going to find that Saturn, Rahu and Mars are all conjunct in the 12th house. Mars rules the chart. The chart ruler is the planet that rules the Ascendant. And Scorpio is ruled by Mars. So you're going to find that.
This one was not so much about the Quincunxes as the other ones. But, but you know, the moon in Taurus does Quincunx all those planets, Mars Rahu and Saturn. But Mars Rahu is violent and in the 12th house and it's with Saturn. So this was hidden behind the scenes. Also notice the moon is exactly the degree of the Ascendant. That's powerful. But if you really want to look at some things that are exactly notice that Transiting Jupiter at 16 degrees of Gemini is exactly squaring Uranus at 16 degrees of Pisces. And Uranus deals many times with airplanes and difficult, difficult aspects with it will cause problems because Jupiter is also opposing Pluto. So it's interesting, these outer planets usually become very, very active and world events that, that we all look at. So that was something of this Malaysian flight that we never knew what happened. Now let's go to the next one Malaysian flight that that crashed and that one was flight 17. And that one was the one that was shot down in the Ukraine by the Ukrainian Air Force.
Another, you know, and it happened very close because these planets are very close. If you'll notice on the Malaysian flight.
That that for this chart for 17 that the Ascendant Scorpio again and Mars is with Saturn again in the 12th house. So the 12th house is lost, let's face it. But also this Mars, Saturn.
Is in Libra and Saturn was retrograde. I remember that day that I think it was when one was when Saturn went direct from retrograde and one was when Saturn went retrograde exactly on these two days. And it was a Malaysian airplane Saturn. So going back to flight number 17, notice that Uranus, this is what's so interesting, is at 22 degrees.
And Saturn is 22 degrees. So count from where Uranus is to Saturn. This is telling if you'll count around from Uranus all the way to Saturn. So Saturn goes eight placements from Uranus and of course counting back from Saturn to uranus, both at 22 degrees. It's an exact quincunx.
An 8, 6 relationship. It is so prominent in death charts too. So that's one of the main features. There's so much more I could talk about and I'm going to just add one more chart and just this isn't an individual that that died in a plane crash on September 11th. So it was one of the American flights that crashed into the World Trade Center. So looking at his chart, I just want to point out one thing that is so exact to give you an idea that usually when something this traumatic happens, you're going to see an exact aspect. So putting up his chart, remember that on September 11, Mars and Ketu came together on that day at 8 degrees of Sagittarius and putting up this chart. Notice that Mars and Ketu were exactly opposed. His natal moon at 8 degrees of Gemini. Now the moon is in the ninth house. Mars and Ketu are in the third house. These are the houses of travel. You would not want to be traveling with the chart like this. It's exact on that day. So sometimes these things can be avoided with this knowledge of astrology. So that is all I want to do for today. I'm not going to make you depressed and not ever want to travel again by showing you any more of these charts. But my point is I wanted to focus on exact transits for days, on individuals charts and the difficulty that you can see in the 8, 6 and 6, 8 relationships. So with that I'd like to close.
