She notes Ketu’s opposite placement and gives practical cautions and opportunities. The conjunction is stated to last from January through August 2016.

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Today I want to talk about a very important conjunction that is due to occur this January 2016, which is the Jupiter and Rahu conjunction. I want to talk about how this is going to affect each and every one of you concerning your Ascendant. Now when I tell people to use their Ascendant, I'm talking about the sidereal Vedic Ascendant. And if you don't know what your Ascendant is, you can go to my website and use the free calculator, which is Galactic Center.org. you'll be prompted to put in all of your birth information and it will tell you what your ascendant is, your lagna, and that's actually based on your time of birth. If you absolutely don't know what your Ascendant is or don't know your time of birth, you can always use your moon sign if you know it, or your sun sign, but not the western sun sign. Please use the Vedic sidereal sun sign which generally falls backwards, a sign from the western places in the zodiac. So with that, if you know your Ascendant, let's begin with the sign of Leo. How will you be affected with this Jupiter Rahu conjunction? This conjunction occurs in the sign of Leo. So you are going to have this in your first house. How is this going to affect you? My goodness. You will be the most affected because what this means is everything about who you are, your self development is going to ring off the charts. So it's like a new birth, a new you, a new inner confidence. You're gonna feel like you've never felt before, strong confident. But in the area of relationships, look out because what's happening will when Jupiter goes into, I mean when Rahu goes into Leo, Ketu goes into Aquarius, which is in your seventh house. So relationships will be harder to deal with. Anything that is not out there and clear in the open, you may discover some new things about your partner or it's a possibility that somebody from your past could come back. But rest assured they're going to teach you many things you didn't know about yourself. This can be quite difficult, but in the long run it'll be totally healing and transformational for you as you have Leo as your ascendant. If you have Virgo as your ascendant, this means that the Jupiter Rahu are going to go into your 12th house, but Ketu is going to go into your sixth house. This can have some major repercussions in the area of of health. Because Ketu going into the sixth will cause all sorts of health.
Things will come up that you didn't know about, problems that you didn't know about concerning your health. But with Rahu Jupiter in the 12th house, be careful because once again, this could be indicative of hospital stays or that you'll be going to the hospital more often, maybe to visit someone else. But Rahu represents foreigners. The 12th House represents foreigners. I could see all types of world travel to foreign lands and countries. Or you may simply have more connections with foreigners in foreign lands and countries, dealings in business dealings in your personal life. But this is going to be a time of letting go and bringing many things that you've been working on to closure, bringing things to an end. And maybe even it's time to retire from that old job or position. But something will end and change. If your ascendant is Libra, then this means that the Rahu Jupiter conjunctions in your 11th House, very powerful, influential people should come into your life. People that can help you. Business wise. There will be gains through your career, through your job, maybe a raise, promotion. This also means that Ketu will be in your fifth house, which could mean problems around the area of children. Or it can also mean some amazing creative ideas that you come into that could be something you could jump off into, a new career, a new opportunity, because you have some major.
Epiphanies, ideas that you can use in the area of your work. But rest assured, new friends, new people and associations are on their way into your life.
If you're ascendant as Scorpio, then this means the Jupiter Rahu Conjunction is going to be in your 10th house, meaning your career is going to take off. This is new beginnings, new excitement, developments that you never thought were possible. And it may be because of other people's losses that you have this great gain or upliftment or promotion in your career. This also means that because of a work, because of your job, that there might be some a change of residence. So you may have the possibility of a big move or change of residence. Because this puts Ketu in the fourth. And if your mother is still alive, she could be having some problems. So be aware. Make sure that if she complains, take her to the doctor.
If you have Sagittarius as your ascendant, this means that Jupiter Rahu will be in your ninth house. This is the house of long distance travel. It's the house of going on spiritual pilgrimages so that you can discover your truth, your reality. Because the ninth house is Spirit, spiritual. And it also represents that you're going to change the way you view the world, your belief systems. With this, you could also be going back to college or back to school. You feel like you need more information to advance in the world. But it's all about learning and taking classes and expanding your knowledge and awareness. Now, because Ketu's in the third house, if you have brothers and sisters, there could be a problem or an issue concerning one of them.
But I do get that something about travel, education, learning will be the focus of this period.
If your ascendant is Capricorn, this means that the Jupiter Rahu will be in your eighth house and the Ketu will be in your second house. So this will have gains around around money through other people. It could represent an inheritance that's on its way. It could represent maybe some settlement from a lawsuit or something where a large sum of money will come to you suddenly and pretty unexpectedly, I think. So with Ketu being in the second house, be careful what you do with the money that may come. But I get that you may be reorganizing your finances and looking at your financial situation quite differently.
If your ascendant is Aquarius, this puts the Rahu Ketu, I mean Rahu Jupiter in your seventh house. So this is the time of meeting someone, exciting a new relationship. But it can also mean that relationships you're currently in could have an explosive effect. If you are not aware of certain things within your relationship, things could be brought to the surface that could change your whole perspective of this individual. If you're not in a relationship, rest assured you will be drawn into a relationship with someone that's very different than what you're familiar with. Maybe a foreigner. With Ketu in the first house, you are changing. You don't feel like you really fit into this world and you feel like there's many obstacles that you must overcome in your own self development and development of who and what you think you should be doing, your purpose in life. If your ascendant is Pisces, this means that the Rahu Jupiter will be in your sixth house. This is a time of changing old habits, getting healthy.
And work situations will change if you happen to be in any legal dealing with any legal matters, yes, something will surface and you will come out victorious. Because with these two planets and your sixth house of enemies, this is where you will overcome enemies, such as in dealings with legal matters. But around the workplace, please be aware that you may find that people can be intolerable and too extreme. And over the Top. But you'll have to pick up the slack around work. Don't be overstressed, because with this in the sixth house, stress can lead to health issues or accidents.
With ketu in the 12th, remember, it is time that things of the past will come to the surface for you to work on, let go of and heal.
If your ascendant is Aries, this means the Jupiter Rahu will be in your fifth house. If you're trying to get pregnant or you're trying to have children, this will be the year. Because this Jupiter Rahu will be in Leo from January.
Together through August. This is the time of new beginnings in the area of children creativity. If you're an artist, you will have new ideas and you will put out some of your greatest work. With ketu in the 11th house, you may have to eliminate some of the old friends that just simply don't work anymore in your life. Letting go of people that are not there for your best interest, it's time to let them go because they're draining you tremendously. If you're ascending as Taurus, this means that the Jupiter Rahu is in your fourth house. And this would represent a big change of residence. You're about to move, you're about to expand with properties. It could even mean that you buy a second home or either you sell your home, but you make a handsome income from it. So this is about gains through real estate and property. With Ketu being in your 10th house, this could represent that there's a big change coming in the career that you're doing. Maybe you change jobs or that there's an enormous change within the company. Maybe positions, maybe departments, but something big is going to happen concerning your work and your career. Maybe the company gets bought out.
So if your ascendant is Gemini, you can expect travel, lots and lots of travel, teaching, writing, speaking, passing on information. It's all about your communication skills. That this will be where you will have the opportunity to spread your word globally. Because remember, this is a massive conjunction. It's happening in your third house of communications. If you have brothers and sisters, there could be an issue or a problem concerning one of them. Because Rahu can be extreme and they will have something huge to overcome. This, of course, puts Ketu in the ninth house. This will be a year of spiritual transformations for you. You will change the way you believe and the way you look at life. This will be a healing.
If you are sending as cancer, you are going to have major ups and downs financially this year. But the good news is there's going to be some ups because this puts Jupiter Rahu in your second house of money and finances. But because Ketu will be in the eighth house, there will be some type of issues concerning money that you share with other people, business partners as well as marriage partners. So this could be the time that major money will come in and go out. But most of all.
You need to be careful of your spending because a lot of money is going to come in. You've got to be careful where you put it so that it doesn't just dissolve away, you'll regret it. But overall be careful of your eating as well because with these two planets in your second house of the mouth and eating you can over consume and possible put on some weight. So with that I hope you got a clearer essence of what this Jupiter Rahu will mean for everyone. And remember that this conjunction begins in January and will last. The planets will be together in the same sign Jupiter Rahu through August of 2016. So this has a major influence on everyone in the world. So if you would like more information, remember you can always go to my website where you can schedule a reading@ Galactic Center.org thank you.
