January 14, 2026 (speaker notes dates may be approximate within about a week).
25 degrees Sagittarius (Mars–Sun–Venus conjunction) opposing 25 degrees Gemini (Jupiter); Mercury at 25° Sagittarius opposing Jupiter at 25° Gemini for the Jan 14 aspect.
Foreign. Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about this powerful aspect that I keep referring to that's happening the first few weeks of January. We're starting, starting out in a big bang with 2026. So what is this that I'm keeping? You know, you've heard me talk about this conjunction that's going to be happening around January 9th and 10th, where Mars, sun and Venus all converge together same degree, 25 degrees of Sagittarius. Yes, I am a sidereal Vedic astrologer. These are the true placements astronomically. But all the more Jupiter is exactly the same degree opposing it. This is very rare. I mean, the conjunction between the sun and Mercury and Venus are not that rare. But you know, Venus exactly the same degree. Yeah, it's not that rare, but it's rare. But the Jupiter is what makes it rare. So Jupiter is known to expand things and for the most part I'm usually saying Jupiter is the great benefic. It will bring great things and opportunities and expansion. But I can't seem to forget the fact that Jupiter was in Gemini on September 11, 2001, and it was aspecting Mars, but it was tied up. It was a completely different configuration actually. But all the same, it was Jupiter in Gemini opposing Mars during that time we had Rahu and Ketu involved in it. That's what made that as treacherous as it was. But still, what could this be? What could this mean? So I keep questioning what's going on with this, but one thing I do know is Jupiter being in Gemini. Gemini rules air travel. And another thing is if you think about September 11, it did involve airplanes, air travel, that that was the means of attack. So I'm thinking something could be related to air travel again. But here is a different aspect that I want to point out that will transpire right after the one that happens January 9th and 10th and it's actually on January 14th. And remember when I say these dates doesn't have to be exact, but it can be around these dates like within a week. That's what I find happen. But it's exact January 14th. What I'm referring to is when Mercury joins forces and it is exactly opposed Jupiter at 25 degrees of Sagittarius, that's where Mercury is. But Jupiter is 25 degrees of Gemini. Now Sagittarius is known to be the sign of truth, justice. And yes, there's so many things that are coming to the forefront that are proving out to be about justice. Well, Maduro for one. And many other things are coming out. Although as we all know, we can't really trust the media or politicians, in my opinion. But when you really stand back and you look at things in terms of cold facts, not opinions, so much has to do with opinions. It's. And you think it's a fact, but cold facts, that's what we're going to try to focus in on, even though it's hard because they twist things. But here is astrologically, remember I'm talking astrology. January 14, when Mercury is there in Sagittarius, 25 degrees opposing Jupiter, these two planets, both of them will travel. If you think about Mercury, it's short distance travel while Jupiter is long distance travel. And here's what's so interesting that makes me think this is a powerful aspect of things to come is that while Mercury is in Sagittarius, Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter. But Jupiter is in the sign of Gemini, which is ruled by Mercury. So what's going on that makes these planets even more powerful in their opposition aspect is that they're in each other signs of rulership, which is called Sambhandha. Sambhandha means a total union and this makes them one. So these signs of communication, Mercury, Jupiter, truth. I mean, I'm sorry, Sagittarius, truth. Jupiter, yes, is truth as well, because it rules Sagittarius. But this is like tying up some really important strings that have been loose for a while that will bring truth, but some event will happen concerning travel. You know, basically this Jupiter, Mercury could mean something good, but I'm questioning it because, because of the fact of Mars being close by. Mars is very violent. Mars can deal with attacks and Mars is still with the sun and Venus. I'm thinking something around air travel is going to be a major predicament. So there's so many airplanes that take off and land in a day. I'm not saying if you're traveling on that day, it'll be bad. Really though and truly you need to know your own chart. People always freak out when I say something and don't travel. You got to know if it's hitting anything in your own chart. If you want to know if it's a bad day to travel and this would affect you. So in other words, do you have planets around this 25 degree aspect of Sagittarius or Gemini that would. And if they're malefics, yeah, I'd say stay home. But that's the thing, people just take it generally as a Whole. But I am saying be careful around travel around this time. If you have any tie ups in your own chart. Now if you want to know if you have anything in your own chart, you'll want my galactic planner. Seriously, I mean this. My planner will tell you what's going on your chart. You don't know how, have to know all the astrology or go to an astrologer. So my galactic Planner go to GalacticPlanner.com it will do your individual chart. Yes and tell you all the transits and how they affect you. But furthermore, if you want to learn all this, take it to another level. I am starting my university in February, the first semester class. But you can join anytime. It's all self paced online but I have many live classes you'll want to be part of. Go to universityofvedicastrology.com and don't forget to go to my website and check out all the classes and things I have going on. You can have my free newsletter delivered weekly. And be part of Patreon, which is my spiritual community. We talk about all this stuff every week personally. Anyway, go to GalacticCenter.org and getting back to this Sambanda. 25 degrees. This is so intense. But I'll tell you something else. Communications and truth and spirituality will rise to the surface. This is what it is all about. This is what we're all about, why we're here, our spiritual purpose. And this is going to bring this to the forefront. And I don't care what religion you are, it's about spirituality. What is the difference? Spirituality is being connected to the divine, which is whatever you want to call it, the God, source, the divinity within you. We're all connected in this way. We're all part of the divine. Religion is different paths, hopefully to the same goal. But the divinity within you is the spiritual essence that I want you to pay attention to. And this year I consciousness is going to be raised where people finally start to connect to that spiritual essence. And that's what this Jupiter Mercury can do. But do be aware that it's going to cause some kind of mishaps. I believe in the air, things happening in the air with this. These two planets are connected and the signs deal with communications and travel as well. And hopefully maybe some of the truth about the media and communications will come out. But really and truly it doesn't matter because people simply believe what they want regardless of facts. And that is a fact. So I think the minds of people are really really messed up lately because they don't know what to believe. When you hear something repeatedly over and over in the media, they say you start to believe it. And many things that are not true have been repeated over and over and over in the media this year. I'm not going to say it's going to be this month, but this year there will be revelations that change our lives forever. Incredibly, I do think this is a beginning in this month. Let's watch around January 14th and see what happens. Something could happen. And here's another thing. A lot of these aspects that I point out may not come out in the news as a major, major event. Why? Because only when it hits someone famous chart or a country's chart's natal planets does it come out as a big event. But it can affect you totally personally if you have these planets that are being affected. In other words, if you have any planets sidereally in Gemini or sag around 25 degrees, you will feel it. So with that, I think I'll close. This is just another awareness that I want to open up for all of you. Because this year is going to be incredible, amazing and yeah, shocking. That's what I want to say. So with that, I think I'll close. Remember, if you want to learn more about me, always go to my website, go to Galactic Center.org and if you want to join my school, become an astrologer or join our community, go to universityofvedicastrology.com thank you.
