A short Vedic-astrology forecast by Joni Patry for January 2. The Moon in Virgo brings a hypercritical, scrutinizing energy helpful for detailed work and self-improvement but warns against being overly critical of others; communications are favorable and short travel is supported by Venus-Mercury in the third house from the Moon. The Moon is also approaching Ketu, indicating more inward energy coming the next day.

January 2nd. It's going to be a little bit more hypercritical, so you're going to find things not be as easy as the day before. But use this, because the Moon in Virgo can be very scrutinizing. But that's a good thing when you're looking at detail and wanting to make things happen. Just don't be too overly critical of other people on this day, or you could regret it. Use the stage to see where you can improve yourself, and communications with people will be smooth and nice. It's also a day to maybe go on a short trip of some sort. Traveling is good because we have the Venus Mercury in the third house from the Moon, but the Moon is approaching Ketu, so it is a time to be a little bit more go within. But that's actually not so much today as it is going to be the next day.
