Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about the coming lunar eclipse which will be occurring on either July 5th or July 4th, depending on where you live. If you're in the United States on the east coast, it will be happening about 45 minutes after midnight. But if you're living on the Pacific west coast, then that means this eclipse will happen around 9:45pm on July 4th. Now this is very important for the United States because the fourth of July is Independence Day and this is a big celebration. But what I see coming doesn't look like the celebration will be so peaceful because there's been so much chaos, there's been so much racial tension and so much tension around politics that I don't think it's going to go smoothly. I think a lot of people will be using this as an opportunity to create much more destruction in the US and let me explain why, because this lunar eclipse, by the way, eclipses are a lunar eclipse is a full moon that is conjoined with Rahu or Ketu and a solar eclipse which always happens two weeks apart. We had the solar eclipse that happened June 21st. So we have that was the new moon where Rahu was conjunct the sun and the moon. Now we have a full moon where Ketu is conjunct the moon and Rahu is conjunct the sun. And this is interesting because Ketu will be close to the moon and Ketu is still in the Nakshatra of Mula which is one of the most destructive Nakshatras of all. And we will have Ketu in this Nakshatra Mula till 19th September this year, 2020. So during this time expect a lot to go wrong. And let me just say this, the moon represents the emotions and the feelings. And with Ketu there's a sense of loss. There's a sense of feeling like emotionally things have been lost. So I think this is going to depict a lot of losses, even financially. I think there's going to be a big change in directional curve downwards with the economy. Now when we look at where Rahu is, Rahu is with the sun and Mercury. Now the Mercury of course is retrograde. That doesn't help matters at all. There's so many planets retrograde, at least Venus just went direct in June, June 25th. But now we still have the retrograde of Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto, Neptune and now still Mercury. Mercury will be retrograde to the 12th July. But let me say this is a treacherous time because what Mercury retrograde combined with the eclipse is going to intensify the feelings. And what's happening with the Mercury retrograde, it's brought back the coronavirus in many places throughout the world, but especially in the United States. And with this deep sense of loss, the virus growing, plus what does Mercury represent in Rahu and Sun being in the sign of Gemini? Travel, communications, all of these things are in a backwards motion. It's not working. Things have totally gone wrong. And with all the political and racial unrest, I think people are going to use this celebration for destruction. And I really think that with all the fireworks, who's gonna know if it's really fireworks or if it is gun works. So lots of things I would say to really stay low and I wouldn't go places where there's a lot of people otherwise you're asking for it at this time. Now, another thing that's very, very important about this lunar eclipse is the fact that the Moon is wedged in between K2 and Jupiter Pluto and the Jupiter Pluto conjunction is together still at 29 degrees of Sagittarius. Now, whenever a planet is at the last and final degree of a sign, it's vitally important. It's making a statement. Statement, because it's really a powerful degree of. Well, many say that it's weak. They say that.
It'S old age, it's tired, because it's at the last degree. That's what we say in Vedic astrology. But at the same time, the last degree of anything is going to be the degree that is the atma karaka of a chart. So any in essence, it's come to its maturity. But we call this an anaretic degree. It is symbolic, it's important. It's the last degree to make something important.
And another thing is this Jupiter Pluto energy has so much to do with explosions, events that are powerful, that are bigger than normal. So this is really an incredibly intense time. Globally around the world there is the pandemic going on and it's increased and it's gotten worse. And there's violence, there's anger, there's a lot of repressed emotions. What is a full Moon do? It brings out what has been hidden because it brings it to light. And with the nodes, this intensifies it all the more, makes it sort of like a karmic destiny type thing. This is a time of great destiny when change is rampant and people are angry and this balloons out into something, something bigger than we thought. That's what this is bringing to our attention. And let me remind everyone, the sun and Mercury are very powerfully placed and they're in the Nakshatra. Ardra. Ardra is the Nakshatra of tragic events. So please be careful. Let's make this a safe holiday because Ardra.
Can deal with losses. Its symbol is a teardrop. So there's great sadness. And I believe this has to do with the coronavirus. Plus don't forget Mercury and Sun and Rahu, all in the sign of Gemini. It deals with communication. So it's communication breakdown too. I mean there's computers, there's technology, phones, everything is kind of gone wrong. With this Mercury retrograde, it's so intense. So see that there might be outages and things with the Internet communications are lost. Plus air travel. It is at a low point. Yes, the economy is going to shift lower the because of this. And now is not the time to invest. Now is the time probably to get out. But I do see better times down the road. So you can either ride the wave or you can make some changes if you have investments. But most of all, I think this is so relative the stars that are involved in this because the sun being at 19 degrees of Gemini is exactly on the fixed star Sirius. And I think this is Sirius, by the way. But Sirius is a very powerful star. And I think it indicates that there's some really new and exciting things to come. In discoveries. Yes, in discoveries in the future and where we're going and as a culture and humanity, everything is on the verge of transforming because of a major, major purging that is happening right now. Now Mars even squares this eclipse point as Mars is in Pisces. And Mars in Pisces is going to bring all sorts of disruption because Mars dispositing planet is Jupiter. So wherever Mars goes, it reflects the energy of that Jupiter, Pluto conjunction in Sagittarius, which I think is very explosive. So this is a major lunar eclipse that really indicates the surfacing of all that has been purged and all that has been building. Now.
It'S at a peak. Everything is out there. Everything can be seen. And now that the change is happening, now it's time for adjustment. So take a deep breath. Remember to breathe during this time because the Sun, Mercury and Rahu are in the sign of Gemini, which rules the lungs. So remember, when we're full of fear, the thing you have to do is always remember to breathe. This will help alleviate the fear and anxiety that is rampant in the world right now. I must tell you, things will get better. All of these changes are happening for a divine reason to purge and cleanse the planet. Once this is all over, and it will be over by 2021, that's when we're going to see the light again. That's when things will return to its joy and happiness.
