June 1–7 Astrology Forecast: Why This Week Matters Most

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I'm going to be talking about the first week of June and what I'm doing here. For those of you that might be new to my channel is looking at every day, each day for the first week and I'm going to be covering the whole month weekly. These are my weekly predictions. And with that I am noting where the moon is because the moon is the planet that really does predict what's going on for the world, for the emotions, for the people. The moon is the indicator of the public and the people. And however all the other planets are relative to the moon really does give us a sense and a feel of what you can expect each and every day of this month of June. Now I want to remind everyone I am a sidereal Vedic astrologer and the reason why I shifted from Western astrology to Vedic is that these placements of the planets are actually astronomically correct according to astronomy. And I feel like this is so powerful with prediction. So I'm going to be covering where all the planets are. I am sitting here in front of my computer screen and as I shift each day I mark where all the planets are relative to the moon. And this is also I'm going to be giving you all of the major planetary aspects every day as well. So now let's get going. I want to start talking about June 1st through the 7th. So I am looking at my computer right here and as I'm looking at the 1st of June, which is a Sunday, I want you to realize one more thing. I'm looking at all of this from some Central Daylight time. So wherever you are in the world, please adjust your clock. So when it is here in Dallas, Texas, when it is, well right now I'm looking, it's about three o' clock in the afternoon but I'm going to be talking about this chart and yes I do have it midday. But what I'm going to tell you is every now and then when the moon does change signs, realize that that it changes signs at the same time all around the world. But it's a different time for you on your clock. So check out and see the time difference that you are from Central Daylight Time, which I'm in Dallas, Texas but it's the same line as Chicago, Dallas, Houston. This is Central time so please be aware as the planets shift that, that it could be a different time for you. Maybe if you're in Europe you're like seven hours Central Europe advanced and Australia it's the next day and I forgot how many hours it is. I think it's something like 14, don't quote me on that. But it is even another day. So please, please take note of where you are relative to where I am because you want to get a sense and a feel what's going on for you or where you are. All right, so as I was hopping in here, I'm looking at June 1, it's a Sunday and on this day the moon has just entered leo. So it would have entered Leo probably. I'm looking at, it's, it's early Leo and let me back up the time right here. So it enters LEO Central standard time around 11:30am on June 1st Central Daylight Time. I say daylight because it's daylight savings time here. But looking at this, the moon in LEO is extremely strong but it is approaching K2 and with K2 moon, this is a time of introspection and deep thought, spirituality. The moon is in the Nakshatra called Maga. Maga means the king, the thrones. And Maga actually deals with heritage and family. So you will probably be very consumed with thinking about the past and family and what came before you, your heritage, Things like that will come to your mind throughout the day. Now with the moon being here in Leo, all the planets are on one side of Rahu and Ketu. And looking at this, we have Jupiter in the 11th House from the moon. And this is good for social affairs. So this is a good day for you to go to parties, visit friends, anything to do with social interaction with others. It's a great day for this. It's also a good day for business. The moon in Leo is extremely strong for work ethic. And it because the moon is in the sun sign, it makes it powerful. In other words, Leo is ruled by the sun. But the sun on this day sits in the 10th house from the moon. So this is a great day for work, for getting closer to maybe the people you work with, your boss, things like that. And if you have your own business, it's a day for great things and expansion. Now also looking at this.

Venus is, has just entered into Aries about a day ago. This will give more passion in relationships. And actually Venus is in a trinal aspect to the moon. Even though this, this is a day spiritual introspection. It is a good day for.

Telling people how you feel about them. Your love feelings, your. Your appreciation for others. This is a day to look inward. But working hard with your work, your career, looking towards expansion and work and going to any social events you're invited to or will turn out well. So now let's go to.

June 2nd. June 2nd, the moon is still in Leo, but now it is shifted. It's going to shift signs in the middle of the day. Not signs, Nakshatras. So around noontime, central daylight time, the moon will be in the Nakshatra called Purva Falguni. And Purva Falguni is a Nakshatra that deals specifically with creativity. So you're going to find that this day you're much more creative. You have to express yourself, feel things out better, get a sense of your psychic intuitive feel too. Because the moon is on top of K2 throughout this day. Yes, throughout this day. And I am looking at actually, let's see here. Yes, it is going to be around noon that it does shift in Purva Falguni. And with this we still have Venus in Aries aspecting the moon. So it is a good day for love relationships. Still, this is a great day for social events, going to those parties, meeting up with friends. It will be great time for communications because I want to remind everyone Jupiter is now in Gemini. And while it is in Gemini by itself unobstructed by other planets, especially when the sun comes into Gemini, which is in the second part part of this month, it will become combust. So I want you to know that the first week and second week almost, well, let's just say about the first 14 days of this month, 13 days are excellent. And I want you to know too, the moon is waxing right now. It is increasing in light. That means it's time to move forward with new projects. And I do like the fact that the sun is positioned 10th from the moon. This is actually.

Where you're looking at the sun and the moon in a square to one another. So it's actually a quarter moon, but the moon is growing in light, but it is approaching Ketu. So this does make us more introspection, more intuitive, more psychic. But it is a great day to express yourself especially creatively.

So now I'm looking at June 3rd. This is a Tuesday. And remember I'm talking about Central Daylight time. The moon is in Purva Falguni half of the day and then it's going to move into.

Well, not till later in the day actually, actually around around 3:3pm that the moon shifts into the Nakshatra, Uttara Falguni. And both of the Falgunis are called the Marriage Nakshatras by the way. So they do deal with relationships and expression. But Uttara Falguni is actually a little bit better for relationships because not as self consumed as the Purva Falguni is, it's more about others and friendship. That's what this day is about. June 3rd, Tuesday. And Jupiter is still in the 11th house from the moon, representing a great day for friendships, for coming together with social events, parties. Enjoy this day and know that it is a great day for work, for getting closer to people in your workspace and for expressing love and relationships. But just be aware now, usually when the moon does come together with Ketu, it can mean that the stock market could change. But yes, it is a Tuesday. So sometimes I find the stock market market is so volatile, anytime the moon comes to a placement with either Rahu or Ketu, it is with Ketu right now. So let me move it up to Wednesday. This is June 4th. We have the Moon has shifted into Virgo. And the moon being in Virgo represents everyone is being hyper critical. And this particular moon is opposed Saturn very, very tightly today. So don't get your feelings so hurt if people are overly critical towards you and pull back and watch yourself as being hyper critical. This is not good for anyone to be over the top. Too scrutinizing and too critical. So watch these things.

Another thing is the moon will shift into Hosta. Let's see. It will move into Hosta later in the day. Let me see what time it is. Yes, it will move into Hosta not till about 5pm Central Daylight Time, but half of the day, more than half of the day. It's going to be still in Uttara Falguni, which is the Nakshatra of friendship and relationships. It is, it's great for relationships. And I do like that the moon has separated from Ketu. Now. Ketu kind of brings a serious tone. It's a very spirit, spiritualizing force. But the moon being away from Ketu is much better today. And I do like that Jupiter is in the 10th house from the Moon. This is a great day for work, for business. It's really a lot better than the days prior to this. From the first to the third today things pick up and the moon as it does shift into Hasta. Hasta is a very strong, strong Nakshatra for the moon to be in because the moon rules Hasta. So it is like the moon is in its natural placement. It feels good here. But do be aware that we have the Moon not only opposing Saturn, but what we're starting to look at this month is the fact that, that Saturn and Neptune will be riding almost exactly together for almost the next year. But throughout the next few months, Neptune and Saturn will be together. And the Moon having these two planets in the seventh house from it is not a great day for, for listening to your partner in terms of you got to be aware that there might be some things that you don't see and maybe there's a lot of criticism and maybe there's something you're not seeing about your partner and it may not be that big of a deal and, or there's just. It's not a great day for communications with your partner. Let me put it that way. Steer clear of criticism, pull away. Because.

It'S a day where there can be some difficulties in terms of misunderstandings in relationships. That's what it is for this day. So.

It is that Venus is even in the eighth house from the Moon. So this is A day? Yeah. I have to say, relationships are very, very difficult on this day. Just lay low, don't try to push any agendas or force your opinions on your partner and you'll get through it just fine.

So now I am looking at.

June 5th. This is a Thursday and the Moon, the Moon seems to change signs halfway through the day or in the evening. So I'm looking at.

No, the Moon will stay in hosta till around 8pm, 8:30pm on June 5. So for the most part the Moon is in Hosta all day. And Hasta, as I said, is a good placement for the Moon. The only issue is the Saturn and Neptune are still seventh from the Moon, but the Moon is in a later degree, which is so much better. But this is still very contested relationship issues. You might find that you feel alone, unheard, separated from your partner. This is what June 5th will feel like. And furthermore, with Jupiter being in the 10th house from the Moon, this is still a good day to work business. Not a good day for relationships, but business works out just fine. And I kind of get the sense that, yeah, this is the day late at night that Mercury is going to shift signs. So we're going to talk about that. Mercury moving into Gemini is going to be good. But starting around 8:30, the moon moves from Hasta into Chitra. That is a powerful placement for the Moon because it's ruled by Mars. In other words, there's tons of energy. It is a bright shining Nakshatra. It deals a lot with people that have major expressive personalities. So you're going to feel more expressive, expressive, you're going to feel more energized with the Moon in Chitra. And while it's here it probably will be in the evening though it's going to eventually cross over one of the most auspicious fixed stars, which is Spica and Arcturus. So that's going to be probably, let's see, that's going to be.

I'm going to say it's really not till the 6th. Okay, so never mind, I'll take that back. It's going to happen on June 6th. So.

Now let's talk about the 6th of June because this is a special day to me. June 6th is the day that Mercury will move into Gemini. And the reason why this is really special is Mercury is going to be aligning with Jupiter and Mercury and Jupiter both are indicators for traveling. So I want you to know that this is a good day for traveling and you're going to find that people are more optimistic. Why Because Mercury is the power to communicate in our thinking minds and Jupiter is with it. And Jupiter makes you more optimistic, open minded, communications run freely. And this is in the 10th house from the moon while the moon is still in the powerful expressive Nakshatra Chitra.

So you're going to find that this is a great time for business. If you were planning any business meetings, if you are planning days to launch things, I'd say choose this day. There's not very many days in June I'm going to tell you that are good. This is one of my favorites for business, for meetings to start, things that you want to excel and move forward. And because another thing that's occurring at this time is we have a waxing moon. It is a bright moon, it's moving towards the opposition. It's at a perfect place, a perfect tithi, let me say where the moon is and so use this day for all it's worth. The moon and the sun are actually in a trinal aspect and, and this is a powerful day for expression, communications and for traveling. Let's go to the next day.

And now I'm looking at June 6th.

June 6th is a very important day because Mars will change signs in the middle of the day. Here Mars is going to move from its debilitation sign that it has been in for so long. Mars went retrograde in cancer last year and it pretty much stayed in cancer for.

A very long time. It went back into Gemini for a, for the time being, but it's been in cancer for I'm going to say almost six months. Okay. Now.

Today it changes into Leo and this could be a good thing because Mars actually likes being in Leo. But let me tell you something, it's starting to align with Ketu. And this alignment I'm going to be talking a lot about because the end of May, May 29 is when Rahu and Ketu shifted. Rahu went into Aquarius and Ketu went into Leo. Now Rahu and Ketu will be in those signs for the next year and a half.

But Mars coming up and hitting Ketu is going to be treacherous. Now the exact conjunction happens to be July 20th. But just by them being in the same sign we will feel the aggression, the anger, the hostility that is building for the months of June and July. So watch this. But I want to say Jupiter being with Mercury is a blessing because let me remind you, Mercury is in its own sign of rulership. Mercury loves to be in Gemini. Gemini is the sign of communications. Mercury with Jupiter here people are more open, more Things are freely said. The truth, truth is coming out. People are connecting, people are traveling. There's going to be a lot of people on vacations. The airways will be, the airlines will be loaded. People are spending more time traveling. Now on the 6th, this is a Friday.

The moon will enter into library. And while it's here in Libra, it's actually in a trinal aspect to both Jupiter and Mercury, which is fabulous. So the moon being here in Libra, it's just crossed over into Libra around I'm going to say around 11.

Or 10, 10am around that time the moon will just cross into Libra during this time. That is when it crosses over the fixed star Arcturus and Spica. Spica is the best star in the sky. And once the moon is.

In Libra, it's actually in a trinal aspect to Jupiter, Mercury making this as a great day for traveling, great day for communicating, coming together with people. And it is opposed Venus. This is a fabulous day for marriage and relationships. Coming together with others, with love, expressing ourselves, meeting someone to fall in love with. Go out and have a great day. Because this day we're going to find connection through communications, through love. The only thing that bothers me, there's always something. While Mars is shifting into Leo.

It'S going to be 29 degrees of cancer. And even when it's 01 degree of LEO, it is Gandanta. And that does mean people are a bit out of control.

There's going to be a lot of crazy stuff going on. We never can find a perfect day. But this day is really good for many things. Just be aware, maybe it's the weather that is causing some major uproars around the world. Okay, so let me go to the the last day that I'm going to be looking at for the first week, June 7th. Now the moon is still in Libra. I love that because Libra is the sign of relationships by the way and with it opposing Venus. It's about love and marriage and connection. Express your heartfelt feelings to your loved ones today, especially your partner. This is lovely. And Venus, seventh from the moon will bring out feelings of affection and creativity. Now Jupiter, Mercury, trining the moon still all in all, it is a great day to travel and go on trips. The only issue now is we do have Mars in Leo getting closer and closer to some critical degrees that I'm going to be talking about in the next few weeks. So this is a great day. The moon is actually in the Nakshatra Swati. Swati is a Nakshatra that deals specifically with communications in terms of people being quite talented with convincing others of things that they want to sell them or get across to them. People will be very convincing with the area of communications. That's Swati. Swati is all about.

Bending and.

Letting people feel like they're in control of a conversation, when actually you are so. And people will do the same to you. But I still love this day for coming together with others, traveling and relationships. So that concludes the first week of June and I'm going to be picking up where I left off in the next week. And let me tell you, things are going to start at this point to begin to get very heated. So use this first week to get things done. You've got a bright waxing moon. The moon is right before the full moon on the 7th. And this is a fantastic period, the first week to get projects done, travel, enjoy your loved ones. This is the best part of June.
