Jupiter Transits into Libra: Predictions for all 12 Signs

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Today I'd like to talk about the transit of Jupiter. The great benefic the brings expansion and growth into our life and a new founded freedom. How this is going to affect you as Jupiter changes signs this September, so September 11th according to the sidereal zodiac used in Vedic astrology, which I use. This is all in accordance to Vedic astrology, so do not confuse this with your western tropical astrology placements if you want to know what ascendant you have. Because that's basically what I'm going to be talking about, each ascendant sign. Put in your chart information and you can find out what ascendant you are so that you can better listen to how this year is going to change for you as Jupiter changes signs. So Jupiter is going to be changing into Libra on September 11, 2017 and it will stay in Libra all the way through October, mid October of 2018. So, so Jupiter stays in a sign for approximately one year and whatever house it's going to in your chart will bring out expansion, growth. Many things are going to start transpiring in the area of where Jupiter is. And remember, we all look to Jupiter for opportunities for expansion, growth, freedom, optimism, happiness. Generally Jupiter will give these things. Sometimes it can be excessive and over the top because Jupiter sometimes is all about, you know, a good time, parties, expansion. Whereas Saturn, completely opposite energy can be a downer sometimes. But we need the balance of Saturn to make us responsible to bring things together. But for right now, let's talk about how Jupiter is going to expand and bring opportunities to each sign according to your ascendant. So if your ascendant is Libra, then this means that Jupiter is going to be in your first house. So you're going to feel like you just woke up from a dream, like oh my God, look what's going on now in my life. You become more aware, more optimistic, happier. One thing is remember Jupiter is excess and sometimes when it comes in the first house we can gain weight. But overall it's probably because you're happy. You're going to restaurants or going to social events. Everything picks up. And if you have a Libra ascendant you, you're very social anyway, you love to be around people. You're constantly trying to make things right for Everyone, because you want balance. You're the peacekeeper. And Jupiter in the sign brings balance into your life, brings things together where all of a sudden all the things that were in the dark before they come to light, there's so much more optimism and joy and happiness. And Jupiter by the way, is the great benefic that can learning, education. So you feel like all of a sudden the world is interesting again. You want to learn, you want to grow, you want to participate, you want to travel. All of these things become significant and important to you. And with Jupiter being in the first house, it's casting its light to the seventh house. If you're not in a relationship, you may be very soon and the relationships that you are in improve. And yes, I'm talking about love relationships, because that's what the seventh house is about and committed relationships. So this is a really prosperous good time for self development, improving yourself, expanding your awareness, travel and relationships. So if your ascendant is Virgo, this means that Jupiter will be in your sign second house. This is a time of expansion with income, finances. Jupiter will bring you wealth and money. And there's even this issue of things in the past. There's a healing from past long time standing problems from home, environment, family. Things of the past will come to the surface and be healed. But most of all, you're going to be a lot more prosperous and a lot, a lot more hap. I mean just so much more opportunities to make money. And be careful what you say because sometimes Jupiter in the second house can make you talk too much.

But still you're bringing out positive things. So it's a time to do some positive affirmations. They'll work, they'll bring things into your life. And because the second house can deal with speech and as Jupiter's there, beautiful, great speech and second house dealing with family member members and family issues. This is a time that things will prosper and do well. But you can even find that money may come from your partnerships. Being that the second house is the eighth from the seventh, your partner may come into money.

I want you to know that Jupiter in the second house is a welcome thing because you will be looking at comfort and security financially.

If your ascendant is Leo, this means that Jupiter is going to be in your third house. And this means you're traveling, you're traveling a lot. Also, you may find that there's some new prospects for education and learning. You may be going back to school, but short trips, you're going to be traveling a lot more and you will feel a deeper, closer connection to brothers and sisters during this time. But with the third house, meaning communication skills, this means that you're going to be more involved probably in everything to do with connecting to other people, whether it be the Internet, social media, anything to do with getting yourself out there in a bigger, better way and gathering more and more information, learning new things. It's time to take up that old hobby that you haven't been thinking about for a long time. Be more creative during this time. If you're artistically inclined to time to look into this. And I would have to say with Jupiter in the third house, it's very likely that you are very artistic during this time. So be aware that it's time for self development in these areas of things you've put on the back burner in terms of learning, education.

If your ascendant is cancer, this means that Jupiter is transiting your fourth house. And this is probably if you haven't already gone through a move, which I do find that when people have Jupiter in transiting their third house, they can sometimes have a move. So this goes also to the sign Leo. Leo might have just had a move.

But people with their ascendant being cancer, this does mean that everything about the home, the family, there are new developments and there is probably a change of residence. So I get that the end, the home decorating, feeling more connected with your home is going to be the result. So there's. If you have, if you just moved into a new home last year, I, I bet, which most people have with cancer as their ascendant. I bet you're doing some renovations, you're decorating, you're making your home the way you want it. You want to stay home more, you feel more grounded, you're putting roots in and family comes together. There's more family gatherings, there's more connections to the family, there's happiness around the home, your mother is doing well. Everything to do with a sense of security coming together for you this year and a sense of well being and happiness around the home. It may be the year you buy a new car too. Be aware of these things. So if your ascendant is Gemini, this means that Jupiter is transiting your fifth house. This is the year to make some new investments. You're going to prosper and do very well with anything that you invest in this year. So be open, know that you're more insightful in this area and you're vastly creative. So this is a time of creative pursuits, feeling like everything's coming Together in terms of your ideas that you've been prodding along with, all of a sudden they explode, Explode and you have new ideas, new awakenings. And if you're wanting to get pregnant and have your family grow, this is the year. So if you have Gemini as your ascendant, there could be a new baby, there could be growth, expansion in your family. And the children you do have are going to be amazing, they're going to be successful. There's going to be things that happen out of the blue, that opportunities for your kids, schooling, business, anything to do. And it could even represent grandchildren are on their way if your kids are older.

So if your ascendant is Taurus, then this means that Jupiter is transiting your sixth house. It's a time to really expand your health concern. I mean your health habits. It's like it's time to overcome those bad habits. This is the time you can do it. And with Jupiter in the in the sixth house, your business, your work expands and you're getting along beautifully with your co workers. There's just this great connection that overcomes you. And if you are thinking about getting a pet, now's the time. Jupiter in the 6, you'll really get that special pet and the pets you have will be doing well also. Jupiter in the 6, it's something about food and diet, nutrition, you're really getting it together. You're enjoying being involved in nutrition, how you heal and make yourself stronger and better. This is the time, this is the place. And at work, if you own your own business, this is the time to bring on new employees, to hire new employees. You will feel so supported and things will go well concerning your employees and your business. And last but not least, there may be a new connection to aunts and uncles during this year.

So if your ascendant Aries, then this means that Jupiter is in your seventh house. And the seventh house is all about relationships. One on one. Committed relationships. Relationships that have agreements, written agreements, that can even be a business partner. So these areas of your life will expand, they'll grow. If you're not in a relationship, this is the year that you could fall in love with a serious commitment, committed relationship. If you're looking for a business partner, this is the year you'll find them be totally supported and do well because of a business partnership. Also, you'll find if you are married, your relationship prospers and grows and your partner is more successful going out in the world and being able to provide and make your life a lot easier than there will Be love, commitment, happiness all around in the area of your committed relationships.

If your ascendant is Pisces, then this means that Jupiter is in your 8th House. When Jupiter transits the 8th House, it does bring money. Sometimes not from the places that we want money, because it can come, it can come from inheritances, it can come from taxes, it can come from things of the past and other people. And with Jupiter in the 8th House, many times it means your partner, your marriage partner is doing well financially. It's the second house from the seventh. And with Jupiter going through the eighth house, it's time for you to set up your securities, how and where you want your money to go. It's a time for planning for future financial securities and protection. It's a time for you to invest in insurance policies, things of this nature, and maybe rewrite or look at your will. Because this is what the eighth house is all about, money through other people. But Jupiter being in the eighth house can bring on some vastly spiritual psychic experiences where you have flashes of knowing and insight and connection to the spirit world. Use this time for this. This can be knowingness that just happens and spiritual awakening.

If your ascendant is Aquarius, then this means that Jupiter is transiting your ninth house. This is the house of spirituality and truth and long distance travel. So you will be traveling to faraway places. You will be learning new spiritual things. You will have your spiritual awakening where you're looking and seeking and looking for answers. You will achieve this. You could go on a spiritual pilgrimage to places that inspire and bring out your depth, searching for the truth. And maybe it's time for you to find the guru, the teacher, because that's what the ninth house can be about. A guru, a teacher in any area of your life, whether it be looking for someone that can teach astrology, someone who can teach you meditation. That's what this is about. So Jupiter being in the ninth house, you, your father will start doing well if he has had some issues. This is a good cycle and maybe to be reunited or connected with your father in a way that you never were before, you will find a teacher. Also, if you have older children that are married, look forward to grandchildren, being that you will find out that you have a new grandchild on the way. So this is a great time for spiritual awakening travel, long distance travel, connecting to foreign people and feeling like you know what you believe and what you want in life.

If your ascendant is Capricorn, then this means that Jupiter is in your 10th house. This is the house of your career. This is the house of your social standing. Expect to get recognized. Recognition will come this year as well as advancements, promotions, things of this nature concerning your work. This is the year that things really will change for you on the work front and you will be recognized by your boss. Situations around the workplace vastly improve. And if you're looking for a new job, go career or purpose in life, this is the year that it will come about. And happiness in the home because of your feeling finally recognized for the hard work that you do throughout your life. And your reputation will be stellar during this year. So if your ascendant is Sagittarius, then this means that Jupiter is going to be in your 11th house. The house of great gains. So financially, everything that possibly you were working on in all the reputation and the opportunities that came from last year are now going to pay off. You're going to receive more money, more income, more power, more drive.

You will find that this could come through your connections. Remember, sometimes it's not what you know, but it's who you know. Because this is going to be the time that you start to connect with powerful people that can really bring wealth and advancement to you personally. So you're going to be starting to hang out with new people, new friends are going to come into your life and people that really have your self interest at hand, they will give you opportunities. So be more social, get out, be a part of the world, and don't pass up any opportunities to a party. You never know who you're going to meet. One last thing, you will find if you have an older sibling, that this will be a good year for them and you may become closer to them during this year.

So if your ascendant is Scorpio, then this means that Jupiter is in your 12th house. The 12th house is the house of endings. It's the house of bringing things to an end. Closure. So many of the things you've been working on throughout this year, you're bringing to closure. You're finally finishing up some old projects that have left undone for some so long. Furthermore, I find this exciting because when Jupiter's in the 12th house, you can find that there's travel, there's to foreign lands and countries, being connected to foreigners in different places and expanding an awareness in your spirituality and your truth meditation. You're going to rest a lot calmer. This is about slight. When Jupiter's in the 12th house, you sleep well. But you also get some very profound psychic insights. Pay attention to your dreams. Write them down. This is an important year for you, getting revelations over what's been happening over the past 12 years and that things are about to change. Of course, when Jupiter rolls into the next sign next year, it'll be in your first house. So now it's a time of closure. You might find that this is the year that you might be looking at retiring from something, and then you will go on a trip. Many times when Jupiter's in the 12th house, it can mean over the water. So either going on a cruise or flying overseas, that's what Jupiter in the 12th many times means. But it does mean you're bringing things to an end. And you may feel compelled to be a part of some kind of charitable organization, because that's what the 12th House is giving back.
