Learn the Secrets of the Nakshatras, Jyestha Power of Manifestation

A YouTube talk by Joni Patry describing the 18th nakshatra, Jyestha (Jesta), which lies within Scorpio (16°40'–30°). The presenter emphasizes Jyestha’s strong manifestation power, links to occult/metaphysical interests, associations with Antares (the ‘heart of the scorpion’ and a warlike star), mythic themes of jealousy/betrayal from the 27-sisters myth, and correlations with wealth, authority, and eldest-sibling roles. Practical advice stresses focusing on desired outcomes rather than worry to harness Jyestha’s manifesting ability.

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Today I'd like to talk about the 18th Nakshatra. Jaista Jesta is completely within the sign of Scorpio. So it starts at 16 degrees, 40 minutes of Scorpio, all the way to the end of the sign till 30 degrees.
This nakshatra is extraordinary. It has mystical powers beyond belief. I call this the Nakshatra of manifestation. Whatever these people think about, they create. So the real issue is to think about what you want to create and not think and dwell on what you don't want to create. So in other words, if you spend time in worry and distrust, that's what you're going to attract. But when you focus in on what you really want to achieve, bar none, it will be achieved. This is the Nakshatra that many say have hidden occult powers. Now, when I say the word occult, people think of all sorts of weird things, but occult simply means hidden. So they have this power, mystical powers, and they're many times very interested in occult. I don't want to say occult anymore, but I'm going to say metaphysical sciences, which can be astrology, numerology, psychology. All of these ologies are a part of the interest that this Nakshatra possesses and the power. But the star that is within this Nakshatra is called Antares. And Antares is the star of war. It is the heart of the scorpion.
So Antares represents this warlike, angry.
Nature that is within this fiery.
Nakshatra. So this Nakshatra, Indri, by the way, is the God, the deity of this Nakshatra in Indri is the chief of the gods. So this is a very controlling and powerful Nakshatra. And it actually means the eldest one, because when you look at this Nakshatra.
From the whole Myth of the 27 Nakshatras being the 27 sisters, and Soma, the moon that would visit a Nakshatra every day. Remember, that's the motion of the moon.
It stays in a nakshatra per day, 13 degrees, 20 minutes.
So thinking about this in the way that the myth goes, I'll make it short.
Soma, which is the same as the moon Chandra stayed in one Nakshatra a bit longer. It was Rohini. And Rohini is this very sensual Nakshatra. So, of course, the moon likes staying there a bit longer. Well, the oldest sister, Jaista, became very jealous and enraged.
And told on the moon. And consequently, a spell was cast on the moon for him to die. But the sisters all didn't Want that? They said, oh no, no, no, we don't want him to die. So the spell was mitigated so that the moon would die, such as the waning moon, but would always be reborn to come back as the waxing moon. So there, that's it. But the point is, Jesta told on the moon the eldest sister because she was jealous. So this has a lot of connotations as sign Scorpio with jealousy. But I do find that people with this Nakshatra strong now have more people jealous of them. They're extremely powerful. And many times people with this Nakshatra strong happen to be the eldest sibling in the family. Very, very interesting. But the whole myth kind of revolves around issues of betrayal and abandonment. So that's some of the emotional issues that people with this Nakshatra will experience within this life. But many times they can be the one in charge because they're the patriarch or the matriarch of the family. They're the oldest, they're the most experienced. And consequently what this Nakshatra indicates is that people with this Nakshatra strong.
Are going to be the ones in control with the ones that have the wisdom and.
From that which age gives. So they're very, very wise and they are very much in control. So they wield a lot of power. This is an extremely, extremely powerful Nakshatra. And actually when I did my book on wealth and money, how to make money using astrology, I have a whole chapter of billionaires charts about 12 different people. And all of them, except for one have planets in Jaista. So Jaista is what I call the Nakshatra of billionaires. It's known for extreme wealth and power and manifestation. That's what I find to be the most powerful attribute of this very, very profound, powerful Nakshatra. So those that have planets here, remember you have the power to manifest anything in your life. As long as you focus in on it and go after it, it will be done. So this is such a powerful Nakshatra, the only issue is that they have to get over is sometimes low self esteem. But once that's conquered, the sky's the limit. So with that I'd like to close.
