Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about major life transformations and changes through the dashas again and I have Jupiter's Maha Dasha. Talk about today and before I start I do want to make reference to one of my students from the university was the one that recommended that I do this series on the dashas. And it's Gotham Gupta, major powerful astrologer from uva. And he's the reason why I'm talking about the dashas. So before I start, once again I do want everyone to realize that if you go to my website, sign up for my free newsletter, you will get all of my predictions delivered to your email address. So check that out on Galactic Center.org and don't forget to check out my astrological jewelry. I have all the mandalas of the signs and and spiritual remembrances of who we really are. So going on with the Jupiter Maha Dasha, this major life cycle is probably the one that everyone gets excited about. Why? Because we look at Jupiter as the great benefic and bestows us opportunities, expansion, freedom and wonderful things. But.
It may not be a great planet for your chart. And if that's the case, going into Jupiter's Maha Dasha may not be the joy and happiness that you thought it was going to be. As a matter of fact, I remember when I moved into my Jupiter cycle it was one of the worst times. But it depends on how it's placed, right? It's not that it's going to be good or bad and then the sub cycle really changes it up. Remember the grand cycle. Now Jupiter cycle lasts 16 years, but the grand cycle, the minute you move into it, everything changes because your whole perspective to where that planet is, depending on what house it's in, what houses it rules will be amazing. Okay, now.
If you have an ascendant that's ruled by Jupiter, either Pisces or Sagittarius, chances are this will be a good cycle for you because it rules the first house. But if you have a Taurus ascendant, Jupiter cycle may not be your best one because it does rule the 8th House and the 11th House and that puts a little taint on it. But, but more than anything, more than anything, it's going to show up where what house it's in. And of course depending on your ascendants rules what houses it rules.
But let's talk about Jupiter now. Jupiter, the very first phase of it. Jupiter. Jupiter is where everything focalizes through where it is in your chart. Okay, grand cycle. 16 years. Where is it? So depending on where your moon is in your chart, remember this? I know, I keep, I want, I want to go over this one more time in case this is the first one you're watching. But depending on where your natal moon is in your chart, the Nakshatra, it's in all the Nakshatras are ruled by a planet too. The planet that rules that Nakshatra that your moon is in starts your entire life cycles. That's how important the moon is in your chart. But going back to Jupiter, let's say you have Jupiter in the first house.
And you move into Jupiter's Maha Dasha. You're going to be empowered, you're going to feel free. You're going to feel like the sky's open, everything you just woke up, like, where have I been all this time? With Jupiter in the first house. Jupiter's expansion, Jupiter is opportunities. And if it's in the first house, there's major expansion in your life and a big wake up. It's like something hits you like a ton of bricks. I'm free. It's time for me to do something different. This is opportunistic. Now if Jupiter's in a good sign.
It'S even better. Let's say you have a cancer rising and Jupiter's in the first house. That's Jupiter's exaltation sign. Just don't be too overconfident and know it all. Because sometimes I feel like people with an exalted Jupiter, especially in the first house, don't have very much patience for those that aren't quite as strong smart as they are. Well, that's the way they feel. But be aware of that. Be considerate of others because sometimes this makes you bigger than life. Okay.
And very, very knowledgeable. Jupiter in the first house. Yes, you're extremely smart, knowledgeable, but don't be a know it all. Okay? But Jupiter in the first house would make someone extremely philosophical, spiritual and love of travel. And all of these things will be bestowed on them as they go into Jupiter's Maha Dasha. When Jupiter is in the first house. Now Jupiter's in the second house. Wow. You're probably going to experience some financial gains and freedom. Financial freedom. Now remember the sign that Jupiter is debilitated in though, which is Capricorn, will weaken it somewhat. But for the most part it's still Jupiter. Even though it will be weak. But in the second house, it's still going to bring you wealth and money. And don't forget the Second house is family. So family rewards and money through the family. That's what what another thing that this could bring something to do with inheritances and, and money through others. But most of all, you'll. Your earnings will increase by leaps and bo during the Jupiter Maha Dasha.
So if you have Jupiter in the third house and you go into Jupiter's Maha Dasha, you'll be, you will be on the go. Third house deals with travels, but it's usually short distances. Many times you'll be commuting back and forth. You'll spend a lot of time in the car in transit. But it's also the house of communications and learning. Boy, you gonna be opening the door to more relationships, communicating with so many people far and wide, particularly even the media, maybe on the phone, maybe on Facebook, on all the social media platforms. You're there, you're open and a lot's going on. You are in demand. Maybe you're gonna start doing some courses that you' been wanting to do for a long time. Another thing is begin writing. This is, you have great talent as a writer and this would be maybe writing articles, writing a book. But something about your creative talents will really blossom and grow during this time. Another thing is your brothers and sisters, they'll come back into your life or maybe you just get closer to one. This is what the third house rules.
So if you have Jupiter in the fourth house and you go into your Jupiter Maha Dasha, then there's expansion through what real estate and property and land. You may buy a house, you might buy a vacation house, you may move and there will be a connection with family like never before. And you'll find that this would be a time of happiness, coming together with security, with family. It's beautiful. Your mother, if your mother's still around, you'll have a closer relationship in this dasha. Maybe she moves in with you, maybe you move in with her, but something to do with a wonderful connection with the mother.
If you have Jupiter in the fifth house, remember that this would bring children. Even though Jupiter in the fifth house is generally not the best placement, believe it or not, for having children. But I've seen many people with Jupiter in the fifth that have children.
It's a time when you're more creative, It's a time when you're more expansive, creative, you have all sorts of new ideas. This is a time, if you're an entrepreneur, to start some new businesses and investments are very fortunate throughout this cycle, especially in the beginning phase of Jupiter Jupiter.
And then the fifth House also can deal with dating and courtship. Remember going to events, being very social. So I would imagine that during this time you, you could start dating. If you're looking to find someone, fall in love, open your heart. That's what Jupiter in the 5th will do. And going to all sorts of events. The fifth house is the house of fun. So this is Jupiter will expand that and give you more opportunities to get out and be with people. So if your Jupiter's in the sixth house, you'll probably go on a health kick. You'll probably start paying more attention to how you eat and change your diet and feel good about it. And you'll want to start doing more exercise, just anything that makes you feel more fit and more active and healthier. With Jupiter also being there, it's a time to expand with business. Jupiter in the 6th House is also casting its aspect to the 2nd and the 10th. Business affairs do well and so does money. And if you have your own business, it's time to expand, expand higher. Employees for help, your co workers are very, very helpful. And it would also be a time to adopt a pet because the sixth house does deal with pets and animals.
If you're Jupiter's in the seventh house, you move into Jupiter's Maha Dasha. This is the time that relationships progress, prosper, expand, grow. If you're looking to find a relationship, you will. If you're in a relationship, your partner prospers and does well and your relationship deepens. Because I do believe that your partner will be experiencing great success during this time.
If you have Jupiter in the eighth house and you move into Jupiter's Maha Dasha, then this is a time that that metaphysical sciences will be of great interest. You'll research things, you'll find answers that you never could find before. Your psychic ability just opens trust it. Another thing is with Jupiter being in the eighth house, it is a time for research, analysis, better understanding the roots of things and why they are the way they are. Psychology love that. This is a beautiful time of understanding and learning things beyond this world and communications to the other side. While Jupiter, if you have Jupiter in the eighth house, it could be a time of inheritances too. Money that comes to you through other people.
And your partner will do well. Because when I say that Jupiter's in the eighth house, it's the second house from the seventh, your partner's finances and money come to you. Now, if Jupiter's in the ninth house, it's a time of long distance travel. You're going far and wide and you're learning. You may go back to school. Maybe that education, that doctorate, that PhD or masters, may become something you really, really want to do. But you will be traveling far and wide, many, many places, distant places, and your father will become closer. You may become a teacher yourself, you may become a professor, you may begin teaching something and your spirituality will prosper and grow. You become much more interested in the, the spirituality and your truth. Finding it, reaching for it, reaching for the stars. This is a beautiful, positive dasha for you to move into. Now, if Jupiter's in your 10th house, get ready for expansion with your work, your business, your career. And probably you will get a promotion and there will be many people that assist you and help you. There's money that comes from your business and your work. You're prosperous, expansive. Expand that business. It's time. So if your Jupiter is in your 11th house, this is a time of great gains. Money and wealth will come to you, especially rewards from the work that you've been doing. So this is phenomenal. Now if you have Jupiter there, you may be the oldest one, but if not, you're going to meet some very influential people. And like I was leading to, you'll become closer to the older sibling, if you have one. But new friends, new associates, people that you enjoy being around, new groups, organization, friends, this all expands and grows. Plus I definitely see that there's going to be something about, about all sorts of new social events. And actually Jupiter being in the 11th House can bring on a relationship as well. It's aspecting your seventh house. And actually I find this is more prominent than even Jupiter being in the seventh house. So Jupiter in the 11th can bring love, relationships and marriage. So if Jupiter sits in your 12th house, you're going to get visitations from many people from the past, people that can bring you opportunities and messages, even people from the other side watch and pay attention to your dreams. And if there's anything that you've been wanting to heal from the past, old relationships with people, now is the time. This is the time that you will find completion and healing and letting go of, of any resentments or problems that you've experienced with people.
From years ago. So it's also a time that possibly you could retire. If you've been wanting to retire from a job, if you've been wanting to end something, if you wanted to bring something to completion, now is the time as you enter into this Jupiter Maha Dasha. So that goes through, through all the houses for Jupiter's Maha Dasha. I hope this has been helpful in healing and I hope your Jupiter Maha dash is the best one ever.
