Hi, I'm Joni Petrie, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about Mars as it transits in the sign of Gemini. It, you know, Mars is energy. It is truly energy. And it is a focal point in a chart. What it energizes, what it does, it makes things happen.
Mars can also be looked at as the planet of war and conflicts because it does do that. But don't forget it's also the planet of athletes, people that are constantly changing themselves in terms of athletics power. Mars is the trigger. I think in a chart, when you see when things happen, it's always relative to Mars. So don't forget this powerful planet. And as it transits in the heavens, it creates certain things. So Mars is in Gemini between April 13 and June 3. So it covers the entire month of May.

Did you know that Mars rules blood? It's red, it's fire, it's inspiring. It gets us going. And sometimes we need to get angry to get going, right? Sometimes you'll just kind of like push it aside. But when you get angry enough, you do something. This is Mars energy. It's powerful and very interesting that Mars even rules siblings. You'Re going to see with it being in Gemini, this is all about communications in the world and the media. Gemini is always about connecting people through information.
What is this all about? Well, when you think about the sign Gemini, Gemini is ruled by Mercury, and Mercury is all about learning, education, how we connect to each other through our cell phones, through our computers, through, through travel. This is all Mercury. Mercury deals with all of this. So Mars being in the sign that's ruled by Mercury represents that Mars is triggering and activating everything to do with our world of connecting and communications. And this world is completely controlled by this. As a matter of fact.
We are the only species that has to communicate with words and language. And that's where Mars is in this association with language, with learning information.
And I think because Jupiter's placement right now in Aquarius, which is aspecting Gemini by itself, fifth trinal aspect. It is really taking off in so many ways that we're going to have different opportunities in how we connect to one another in these social media platforms. There's going to be more ways to connect. And that's a beautiful thing because we all want to feel connected worldwide. We want to know what's going on. And I want you to know, while Jupiter is in Aquarius and Mars is in Gemini, some of these truths that we have been wondering about will be presented. There's been so much propaganda in the world. There's been so much craziness being fed through social media.
All of the ways that we connect, whether it's television, streaming, movies, school, information, this is how we connect our cell phones. There probably will be some advancements during this time technologically with this. I know there will be. But here's the issue.
We don't know the truth, because how do we know what they're telling us is the truth? It's pretty believable, all of it, on both sides. So what do I tell people to do? And it works.
Go for the gut and ask, is this true? Get out of that mindset, go to the gut level. And if you get that gut feeling that it's true, very first sense, don't let it get confused with the mind. And most people will confuse it with the thoughts in the mind. Remember this, that your mind is Nothing but a hardwired computer. And it gives the feelings and the senses from all that you have experienced in your past. But you got to clear the decks from that.
And get clear and listen. Don't go by your emotional opinions. Most of that's built on your past experiences. Because we all have to get clear with what the truth is. These days, everything is.
Testing our awareness about what is real.
And this is really what it boils down to. Not all this media stuff. What is truly real in this world? Most of it's not real. What's truly real.
Is your mind, your consciousness. And if you can become connected to true consciousness, not persuaded by emotion and feeling of the past.
You'Ll have all the information you need. And this is our spiritual essence. So watch Mars as it goes through these signs and wherever it is, it is activation of what's happening, what's it activating communications right now. And this is what I want everyone to tap into their truths, their communications, their spirituality, and let go of all the negativity.
The fear. Realize this fear is the root emotion to all negative.
Emotions, whether it be insecurity, whether it be fear of loss, whether it be fear of abandonment, loss, separation from others, whether it's fear.
Of letting go. We all have to surrender at some point. So what I want you to do is to surrender to all the fears that the media has been instilling in us. And that's even all contained within this incredible coronavirus that has encapsulated the deepest, darkest fears in everyone. Fear of death.
And it's paralyzed our world. And it's time to wake up.
That fear.
Is controlling us. So.
Let the media.
The outside world, control you and paralyze you with fear. Now's the time we can wake up with Mars in Gemini. That's my belief.
