Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about Mars as it transits into the sign Aquarius. So, so when will Mars be in Aquarius? It will enter into Aquarius April 7th and it will remain there till May 16th. So we're going to dissect this. How does this affect the world and what is Mars all about? Well, Mars is the planet of energy and life. Its color is red. It rules blood, it gives life to the world and it rules athletics, it rules muscles.
But the other side of Mars, it deals many times with violence, anger and war. And it rules weapons as well. So Mars is a pretty heavy duty planet, if I could say that. And I always find that when you look at a chart or you look at where the planets are in the sky, Mars is always a trigger. It's like the triggering point of how things are going to be. It's going to bring people together more. Aquarius is the sign of friendship. It's the sign that deals with people and communities, groups, humanity. Mars is a trigger. So it's going to trigger these groups. It's going to make people want to come together and maybe because they have to come together. This is another big thing about Mars. It is a force. And sometimes with the fact that it rules anger, sometimes we don't get anything done till we get angry enough. It's sort of like it puts a fire under our butt and makes us start rolling. So, so being in the sign of Aquarius, of togetherness, people, friends, groups, organizations, this will be more important that people are empowered, inspired and driven to be together. Now let's talk a little bit about. Well, I noticed that Mars, while it's in this sign of Aquarius, Aquarius is ruled by Saturn in the old Vedic system.
So Saturn is going to be the root cause of what Mars is positioning on. And Saturn for the most part, well, just for a very short time, till about 28 April, will be in Capricorn, then part of the time it's going to be in Aquarius. So it transits up into Aquarius as well. And I think some of the things that Mars has activated and brought forward Saturn kind of makes us take another look at it because Saturn is that responsible, slow.
Hold back sign pretty much planet. It holds us back in many ways. It delays things. So once Saturn comes together in the sign of Mars, Mars won't be able to operate as freely. Like I said, that's like the end of around 28th April. But until then Mars has a little bit more, if I could say, power to it while it's by itself in Aquarius. But I also noticed that Mars, as it disposits to Saturn, it is making us look at society as a whole and how we have to clean up our world.
That's what this Mars is, clean up our governments too. Because Saturn being in Aquarius and coming across the very last sign of Capricorn, very last degree, I mean of Capricorn, it's like there's an ending to some old regimes and Mars is giving us the power and the strength to move forward with this.
Because well, Saturn's ending some old regimes in the world by being at the last degree of Capricorn. Old governments, old societies, old way of thinking within the governments. And it will eventually, within this year, change a lot of world leaders. But for right now there's something that's being cleaned up until Saturn goes back into Capricorn in July, then we've got more to deal with.
But.
Mars for the most part during the sign. Mars in Vedic astrology has two special aspects and they are considered to be 100% in power. And these aspects are it's going to be four, at four placements from itself and eight placements from itself. So Mars being in Aquarius means that it is going to be aspecting the sign Taurus as well as the sign of Virgo and of course its opposite sign which is Leo. So all those signs and planets therein are going to get a boost from Mars. And there are no planets in those signs except for Mercury as it transits into Taurus, as the sun transits into Taurus. But that's not actually till about the 15th of May. So Mercury will be the only planet that will be once it transits into Taurus, which will be by, let's see, it'll be by the end of April and it will be in May. So new ways of communicating the way that we think, the way that we inspire ourselves, it's going to be Faster. It's going to be more furious with Mars being here. But the one thing I worry about is anger. People are still enraged and angry about all the things that have been transpiring over the course of, well, I'll say the last two years.
Mars is angry and it's going to be aspecting Taurus, the sign where Mercury is. So our minds are still disturbed during Mars transit in the sign. But, and here is a big but. Let's talk about the Nakshatras because they really do flavor things differently. So when Mars goes into Aquarius, it's going to be in the Nakshatra. Well, it's going to change into the nakshatra shatabishak by April 15. So April 15 is a time when we're going to start paying more attention to the drugs, the alcohol, things that are going on in the world. And.
Actually, yes, so before that Mars was in the Nakshatra Danishta. So it will be in Danishta till it shifts on April 15 into shadow Bishak. So from April 7, while Mars is in first enters into Aquarius, it is in Dhanista. And till the 7th, I mean, I'm sorry, till the 15th, April 7th to April 15th, while Mars is in Aquarius, but it will be in the Nakshatra of Danishta, Mars is more powerful. Dhanista is ruled by Mars. So Mars gets a real wake up call and a real punch. And it's going to stir things up in different societies, different worlds, different organizations. And I want to say a lot of the organizations that are there to help people, people, if they're not following the rules, they're going to be exposed. That's what I'm seeing. There's going to be a lot of exposure, maybe a lot of the organizations that say they're giving money to good causes. If they aren't, the truth is going to be revealed about them during this time. And Danishta also is a Nakshatra that deals with money. So Mars being in this Nakshatra, there's a lot volatility in the stock market. Excuse me, in the stock market. It's going to be up and down and all over the place. While Mars is in Danishta now, while it shifts into Chattabishek by April 15 and it will remain in Chatabishak from April 15 to May 3, we're going to discover a lot about the massive drug overflow that's been happening, particularly in the United States and the drug abuses all over the world.
There has been so much, all these drugs that are being put out right now that are super dangerous. They're not with their to supposed to be. And they will be taking a lot of lives. And the world needs to wake up to this over.
Over consuming of many illegal drugs. And on top of that, don't forget, I'm not just talking about drugs that are illicit. What about the ones that are legal?
Everything to do with drugs is going to be a focus of attention. Now Shadow Bishak does deal with drugs. It also deals with alcohol. There's a lot of people that are having issues with addictions during this time.
And maybe it's time for them to wake up. But it's not easy when Mars is really spurring people on to more addictions, more drug abuse and even drug companies. As I'm saying, the licit drugs, they're taking advantage of money, control and power. So the pharmaceuticals are not.
All together there for you. Some of them may be good and necessary, but let me just say there's a lot of greed that's being stirred up with Mars being in this Nakshatra that rules addictions and drugs and alcohol. So be aware of this time period. And as Mars will be from May 3rd till the 16th, and the 16th is when Mars will go into Pisces. That's why I cut it off there. We're only talking about Mars in Aquarius. So. But Mars by May 3rd will go into the Nakshatra, Purva Bhadrapada. And it will be there well, till Mars changes into the next sign, which it'll still be there.
While Mars transits from PIs from Aquarius into Pisces. Because Purva Badrapada is the first part of Pisces. But let's talk about from May 3rd to the 16th, what we're looking at. Mars and Aquarius, the air sign of community.
Of communications with friends and people. But it's in the Nakshatra that deals with a man with two faces. Parva Bhadrapada can be very distrustful. And you can't.
Realize what the truth is that somebody's telling you. Be aware that there's going to be a lot of untruthfulness and lying and cheating going on in the world. And it could be in your own personal life. So be open and aware to what is going on during this time. Remember, Mars is a trigger. And as it goes through these Nakshatras, things will change dramatically from Nakshatra to Nakshatra. Because these Nakshatras meanings are derived from, is derived from the stars. And that's what astrology is truly all about are the stars and the planets. So as these planets go across the backdrop of the stars, that's what we're going to be experiencing. And Mars is such a trigger of energy. So watch these dates and times and how it's all unfolding because we go from community and wanting to be together to.
Not believing people, mistrust, addictions, and then going into a period of uncertainty. But above all else, that Martian energy can be used for waking up.
Being empowered. Mars is all about athletics and sports and energy. And I believe that the whole time it's in Aquarius. It's a time for us to be brought together with friends and groups and communicate and find the realities and the truths that are going on in this world.
