A short Vedic astrology monologue for May 17 describing the moon’s transit through Leo (shifting into Virgo in the evening), the moon occupying the Uttara Falguni nakshatra (themes of friendship and socializing), and a Sun–Jupiter conjunction in which Jupiter is combust and therefore significantly weakened while the Sun gains some benefit from Jupiter’s presence.

May 17. The moon is in Leo for most of the day, but around.
The evening, like in the evening it's going to shift into Virgo. But for the most part the moon is in Leo all day. And it's in the Nakshatra Uttara Falguni, which is a nakshatra that deals with friendship, coming together with friends and socializing still in Leo. And this is the day though that the sun is conjunct Jupiter and this is completely combust. Jupiter is weakened to a high, high degree. But the sun still benefits somewhat from being with Jupiter. So it's not all lost. But Jupiter is having major problems.
