Mercury Retrograde January 30: How It Will Affect All 12 Signs

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, I want to talk about Mercury retrograde. Here we go again. Yes, it's going to go retrograde again. And. And the dates that we have is Mercury will turn retrograde January 30, but it will turn direct by February 21. So when it turns retrograde on January 30, it's going to be at 2 degrees of Aquarius. And what happens is it goes back into Capricorn for most of the Mercury retrograde, and by the time it turns direct, it will be at 16 degrees of Capricorn. So right there in the middle of Capricorn. Now, what does this Mercury retrograde mean for us? Well, basically, this Mercury retrograde is extraordinary because.

So many planets are grouped up together in Capricorn, and Capricorn's all about government, government affairs and change. And for the most part, it's in an Earth sign which will deal with rebuilding, rebuilding the economy, rebuilding business.

Just taking things back from being so outrageously disturbed and destroyed by this incredible virus pandemic that has taken over the world. Never before do we remember anything of this magnitude happening on Earth. But now we got to build it all back. And remember, when a planet goes retrograde, it's always about review, reanalyzing, reassessing, retake. It's a time for us to reflect.

And Capricorn, we got to go back and see what we need to revise. So we will. This is our opportunity. So Capricorn being an Earth sign, also represents money, finances. And that's another thing that's going to have to be redone. How we are managing financially, money. And I would imagine that there's a huge stimulus coming up this month of February based on Mercury being retrograde in Capricorn as well. Now, when Mercury does station to go direct, one thing I did notice, it's going to be within 3 degrees of Saturn. Well, Saturn's not so bad, especially being in the sign of Capricorn. It's actually one of its very favorite places to be. So Saturn is about discipline, focus, structure and order. And that's what is going to happen. But with Mercury being there, we're going to find out all the things that aren't working and how we can better make them work. That's going to be the issue that we're dealing with with this Mercury retrograde while it's in the sign of Capricorn. So also looking at this Mercury retrograde, it is going to be with so many planets, it's very confusing when you have so many planets all in the same sign because they're all focusing in on one thing. So let me just say, if you have a Capricorn Ascendant, this means everything is bearing down on you seven planets around the time of the new Moon. So you have the opportunity to really assess and change your life. This is important, change you. It's all about the changes within yourself. Now, if you're an Aquarius Ascendant, this is all. All these planets in the Mercury retrograde are in your 12th house. And the 12th house is about endings, bringing things to closure, completion. There's a lot of things that are left undone that you have to close and complete. So there's a lot of review about things from the past that you've. That you're coming up with. You've got to change and get ready for a new beginning, which will happen next month. But for now, you're still doing some things that needed to be finished. And it'll be good to bring things to completion, that's for sure. So if you have Pisces as your moon or your Ascendant, remember, it's always that you can look from the Moon as well. But that means that Mercury retrograde will be in your 11th house. So there's something about friends meeting old friends, coming back and reassessing and maybe re establishing relationships with them, or maybe there's something that needs to be worked out with an older sibling. But one way or another, it is time to reassess and analyze some of your dealings with groups and organizations. This is a very important time. And let me just say, if your mother's still around, there may be some deep psychological emotions that she's having to sort out. Maybe you're there to help. So if you have Aries as your Ascendant or your moon, this Mercury retrograde is going to be all about business for you. Pick time. You are reassessing things in your work field, maybe with your boss, or maybe you're trying to figure out if you could strike out on your own with something. But. But you are reassessing everything in your life concerning, around your sense of purpose and feeling like, is your job satisfying who you are, but you're going to be really, really busy at work. Okay, so if you have a Taurus ascendant, let's just say that this is a time of new beliefs, new new ways of thinking. You may even be thinking about some future travels, making plans for the future. Maybe there were some trips that were postponed. You'll be planning them again. But it is also a time possibly for new learning. You feel like you've got to go to school, you've got to get some new information and knowledge to be able to do some new things in your world. This is the time to reflect on that, to go back and reanalyze these learning educational fields or just something you're learning on your own, but massive learning. And if your father's alive, there may be a lot that you have to work out with him. Okay, if your Ascendant is Gemini, then this is, boy, this is some deep stuff you're going through. And remember, this is also if your moon's in Gemini, it's not just the Ascendant, either the Ascendant or the Moon. But this takes you to a deep level of awareness. And this is very psychological. This may be a difficult month because you know, all these planets are in your eighth house. The eighth house is the house of change above all else. But deep seated psychological change. Things are happening deep within your soul. Your mind, your consciousness, intuition and psychic ability is strong at this time. So don't deny it. Listen, you can get your answers this way. But you know, be careful because this is a time when you'll have to go back and reassess some things that you didn't feel like were working too well. This is a time of deep emotional change, maybe looking back at things from the past. But this can be, this can be a profoundly transformational time for you. And it could be a very difficult time because the eighth house does have great deal of difficulty endings.

Maybe someone around you, there could be an ending of some sort or difficulty with their health. Be aware.

Now if you have a moon in cancer or if you have a rising in cancer, this is all about reassessing your relationships. All these planets will be plus the Mercury retrograde in your relationship house. It's about how do you work in a relationship, how do you heal it, make it better? And you will, because this a lot of focus here. This is great energy. And you could be in a very serious, wonderful relationship at this time. And it may take another level of seriousness or maybe it's a time when you meet someone when somebody could come back from your past in a relationship. So if your Ascendant or your moon's in Leo, then this is important because all these planets are in your 6th House, especially Mercury retrograde. Looking into health and healing. How do you get healthier? Start that exercise routine. Reassess how you're going to do that. Lose weight all the things that you've been wanting to do concerning health and healing. And don't forget, you're going to be very busy with work. There's a lot of projects that you have to pick up and complete that have been left undone for a long time. Now it's time to finish them.

So if your moon or your rising in Virgo, then I want to say that this is a really interesting time for you because it's a time of your creativity, when you're going to be expanding with new ways to do things. Even if you're an entrepreneur, you'll find ways to really expand your business and just a flood of ideas. But there are some things from your past that you've got to consider and you've got to work on, because Mercury retrograde brings it up. What have you left undone? But if you have children, maybe there's something you've got to reassess with them. You've got to go back and look at some projects that maybe you didn't complete with your children. But if it. If you are into investing, it's time to really check that out. Because all these planets grouped up in the fifth house of investments, it's time to assess that, maybe make some changes. Now, if your Ascendant or your Moon is in Libra, been thinking a lot about some changes to your home, your property, possibly even a move. This is heavy. A lot is going on in this arena in your chart. So you might be thinking about, where can I move? Where can be the best place for me to move to, to change? My life? And home and family are very important. Maybe you're going to go back and visit where you've come from, visit your mother, visit the past. Something about this is very meaningful in healing for you at this time. So if your Ascendant or your Moon is in Scorpio, then this means that all of these planets are in your third house. And this is a great place because your communication skills get stronger and you learn all sorts of new, valuable information. There could be some short trips, too, some kind of a commute or having to drive some places. But most of all, your mind is going to be so active and you're going to be learning all sorts of new things. And maybe you're reconnecting with one of your siblings, especially if they're younger. But siblings is a focus, and you are having a lot more to share with them.

Share things of memories of the past. Especially.

So if your Ascendant or your Moon is in Sagittarius, this is a time for you to really look into your financial situation and matters, reassess some things that maybe you've left undone. Maybe it's time to really work on those taxes and figure out where the money's coming from and where it's going, going. But it is a time that you will be productive. But through a little bit of past research and analysis, you're going to make your financial situation much better. There's going to be more money because you're making great plans. But you have to go back and figure out what's been going on in order to improve and make it better, which you most definitely will. And, and you're going to be very talkative. You're going to be talking to a lot of people. You've got a lot to share during this time. So this Mercury retrograde in the sign of Capricorn is for everyone, all about a rebuilding and change and transformation in the area of business and work, because that's what Capricorn is all about. And it's a time to reassess and reevaluate our financial situation. What can we do to make it better? And I have no doubt that this is going to be, if you use this retrograde properly, this is going to be a time of rebuilding and manifesting things that you've always wanted in the future. So take this time to reflect, reassess, analyze everything that you've been doing over the course of the past few months and this will be meaningful and positive. But just remember, be more cognizant where you've put your keys so you don't lose certain things. Because when Mercury goes retrograde, no matter what sign it's in, we become more forgetful, we become more.

Our mind is elsewhere. And if we become more aware that these are the type of things that could happen, we can prevent them from happening. So with that, I'd like to close.
