Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about Mercury retrograde. Again. Mercury is retrograde. So now we're going to have to deal with this. When does it go retrograde? July 18, right in the middle of all this chaos. And it will stay retrograde till August 12th. And let me just say this adds to the chaos, right? Mercury retrograde. Let me explain what Mercury is. It's our mind. It's how we think. It's how we process information. It's how we communicate with one another. When it goes retrograde, everything goes crazy in this area. But another thing that it rules that a lot of people don't take into account is transportation. Mercury deals with transportation, how we travel, how we get places, even by car, but mainly through the airlines, through connecting to people. So. So.
Travel is how we connect with others. So. And it deals also with anything with communications, which is what our phones, computers, televisions, radio, any way that we connect to others, whether it's travel, communications. And therefore, when Mercury goes retrograde, it all goes backwards.
Problems in airports, computer outages.
Losing our losing things, our phone, losing anything that connects us to others. It's weird. It's wild. And we become more forgetful, so we kind of lose our keys. We forget where we put things. We can't remember things the same. And here's another thing. On the day that it goes retrograde and direct, which once again remembers July 18th and August 12th on those days, because it changes direction, so do people's opinions and minds. So don't be planning any business meetings or signing contracts, especially on the day that it goes retrograde, because on those days.
Is when people change your mind. You don't want people changing their mind if you're in a contract with them or anything like that. So because it changes directions, people's minds change. It's going to be in the sign of cancer. When it turns retrograde on July 18, it's going to be 21 degrees of cancer. Then by August 12, it's going to be 10 degrees of cancer. So it stays whole the whole time in the sign of cancer. What is cancer all about? Protection. We need to feel protected and secure. That's what cancer is all about. Protection and security. So get ready. This is the time that I feel like you've got to be aware of feeling a sense of protection. And it probably means in the world we feel a sense of needing more protection because we are in a crazy place. The month of July.
It'S not going to be completely over by August. Yeah. Later on it's going to be better. But this is really heating up. A lot is occurring during this time. And let me say this, this is something I find pretty interesting. When I looked at the chart for the United States, Mercury is going to be retrograde in the eighth house. This is the most difficult house of a chart, the eighth house. And what the eighth house can mean is that the economy, the stock market, everything's going to go haywire. Hey, if it does, it's time to invest. But wait and see if everything falls because I only see it going back up later. Everyone's going to be talking about gloom and doom. Don't listen. But if there is, and I think there will be, because when we go through catastrophic events in this world, the stock market is always affected and things are happening. So I want you to be aware that this Mercury retrograde could actually be an opportunity.
Watch and see how things shift. Yes. And in the United States chart, we have Rahu and Mercury in the eighth house. So we have Mercury return. It's going to be on Rahu. There is going to be a lot of uncovering of secrets in the United States. It's about time. Yeah. And a lot has been revealed, but people just really and truly won't accept it. But there's going to be new things uncovering with Mercury retrograde in the 8th House of the United States chart. This is big stuff and it is a time for protection. But personally, personally, with Mercury Retrograde, I don't know what house it's in. In your chart, that's where you need the planner. But if you do, that's going to be the area where there's going to be the most focus for July for you. You need to pay attention. Mercury Retrograde there means there's something that you're not seeing, but you're going to have to go back and review and reassess things. Just remember that Mercury Retrograde is a time of review, reflecting, reassessing.
Everything to do with re reflecting on the past and what went wrong so that you can fix it for the future. Mercury Retrograde is essentially not a bad thing because it's a time of reversals but renewals. That's what it is. So with that, I think I'll close.
