Meryl Streep and Michael Jordan : Debilitated Planets

Joni Petrie, and Welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about debilitated planets and how their effects can be lessened. See, a debilitated planet simply means weak. When we talk about an exalted planet, we simply mean strong. But strong for what? Strong doesn't always equate to good or better. It can just mean that planet's strong to deliver its effects, whatever its effects are, and of course, what house it's in.

But so many people have debilitated planets and they go, oh, well, my debilitation's canceled. I have Nietzsche, Bhangaraja yoga. And essentially that means that.

The debilitation is canceled. But it's never really canceled. You're still going to have some effects at some point that it's debilitated. But when it is Nichibanga Raja yoga, meaning it's lessened. And there's many ways I'm going to tell you about that. It can be lessened. That means you overcome it. And sometimes it becomes your strengths, because it's amazing. Some of the people that have debilitated planets and their achievements are so great with what that planet represents. So it's a bit confusing, I'll say that. Now let me give you what signs the planets are debilitated in, or what? Yes. So Mars debilitated in Cancer, Venus is debilitated in Virgo, Mercury is debilitated in Pisces, the sun is debilitated in Libra, Saturn's debilitated in Aries, and Jupiter is debilitated in Capricorn. So those are the signs that the planets do not deliver their full strength. They're weakened.

But there's so many ways that they pick up their power. And one is if they're in an angle of the chart, they pick up strength and power. What are the angular houses 1, 4, 7, and 10? If they're debilitated and they're in those houses, they're stronger. Or if they're in an angle from the moon, that picks up enormous strength. So 1, 4, 7, or 10 from the moon, this will really give a lot more strength.

But if it is debilitated in the birth chart and it goes to its exaltation sign in the Navamsha, this is the D9 chart, then that definitely means you overcome the debilitation. And in the second part of life, it becomes your asset, it becomes your strength. It's who you are. It's the. That's probably in my book, one of the most powerful ways to overcome it. Now, another way that it can be canceled. Let's say you have. Well, I'll show you some examples with the one I'm about to talk about, which is called Aparivartana yoga. When planets are in each other's signs and they're both debilitated, then this means almost pretty much canceled. Now, another thing that can affect debilitated planets when it's retrograde. Retrograde can reverse its quality somewhat. Not completely totally, but I've seen debilitated planets will pick up strength sometimes when they're retrograde because it reverses them to have sort of like the quality of an exalted planet.

So the other variable that's vitally important that I want to talk about now is when they. They're dispositing planet. And what I mean by dispositor is if you have Jupiter debilitated, meaning Jupiter's in. In Capricorn. Capricorn's ruled by Saturn. Let's say you have Saturn in Libra.

So Libra is Saturn's exalted sign. And by the way, the. The exaltation signs for the planets are the exact opposite sign of their debilitation, such as Saturn being debilitated in Aries. So its exalted sign is the opposite sign, which is Libra. So if Mars is debilitated in Cancer, it's exalted in Capricorn. If Venus is debilitated in Virgo, it's exalted in Pisces. If the Moon is debilitated in Scorpio, it's exalted in Taurus. If the sun is debilitated in Libra, it's exalted in Aries. And Saturn stabilitation is Aries. So it's exalted in Libra. And Jupiter being debilitated in Capricorn is exalted in Cancer. And Mercury stability debilitation sign is Pisces. So it's exalted in Virgo, Saturn. So these are like where their exaltations are, where they pick up enormous strength. And whatever that planet's about is going to be what that person's about because they have those strengths. But.

When you look at the dispositing planet, when a debilitated planet disposits to an exalted planet, it almost pretty much cancels it. Because the dispositor of a planet is the root, the cause, the meaning of. Of what that planet's all about. It's the cause, it's its soul, it's its essence. So if Jupiter's debilitated In Capricorn. But Saturn is in Libra. Its soul and essence of Jupiter is exalted, brought up in power. It overcomes that debilitation. So I wanted to show you a few examples because this is all in your mind. I want you to see it. So one of the charts, I think that's so incredible.

That he has. It's crazy. A debilitated Mars is Michael Jordan. And I have three sons, My husband as well. They're so into sports, love them. And if you ask any one of them who was the best athlete of all time, they always say Michael Jordan. Okay. Of course, you may have a different opinion, but it is kind of what most men will agree to.

So Michael Jordan, best athlete of all time. Of course, basketball, I think even anything he did, he was like exceptional athlete of all time. And looking at his chart, notice where his Mars is. His Mars is debilitated in cancer. Well, remember I said the retrograde could reverse it? It is retrograde, but it is with Rahu, which accentuates it all the more. But notice Mars dispositing planet by the fact that it's in Cancer. You go to the moon as the dispositor. And look at the moon is in Scorpio, which is ruled by what? Mars. So you see this is a parivartana, or you can call it mutual exchange of signs. And with Mars in cancer ruled by the moon, the Moon is in Scorpio, ruled by Mars. They go back and forth by their dispositors. This changes everything.

And it pretty much makes it so that when you see this, it's going to end up being that Mars. It's like Mars is in Scorpio and the moon is in Cancer. That's how that works. It's a reversal. It's empowered and pretty much takes away the problems of this. These two planets, both of them being debilitated. Moon and Mars. So that's pretty astounding. Plus, if you glance at his navamsha, his Mars and moon reside in Scorpio. So his Mars shifts from.

Being debilitated to being in its own sign of rulership in the the navamsa. So you see the navams, where you can pick up strength. It's where things change as you evolve and get older. Because it deals with.

It's called the fruit of the tree. So whatever is the potential in the birth chart, will it bear fruit Is revealed in the navamsa. So I want another example of.

Major successful.

Actress Meryl Streep. Let's put her chart up there. And what you're going to find is her. Jupiter is debilitated in Capricorn.

And it is in an angle which gives it much more strength. But remember, it's still debilitated.

Looking at this. It is in an angle seventh house, but it's also in the 10th house from the moon. Remember what I said about the angles? So from the moon and from the Ascendant, it resides in an angle which pretty much lifts it up a lot. Now, even looking at its dispositing planet, which Jupiter being in Capricorn, dispossits to Saturn, that still doesn't give the total upliftment that we're looking for. But Jupiter is retrograde and many, many times this will represent that that planet is reversed. Also when we go to the Navamsha, Jupiter goes to Pisces. So it picks up enormous strength by being in its own sign of rulership. Let me tell about Meryl Streep. You may not know, of course, she has won so many Academy Awards. A phenomenal actress in her own right. She's very, very talented and been very successful. And what I think is interesting about her is her success as an actress spanned through her entire life. And that would be Jupiter in the 10th house from the moon.

But did you know that her first husband died of cancer? That's where the debilitation of Jupiter in the seventh house produced its result. So it did give a negative, difficult result. But because of the cancellations to the debilitation, she was very, very successful. Okay, one more. Let's look at Queen Elizabeth's chart.

Because she has.

Jupiter debilitated in Capricorn. In. Well, she's got. Even Mercury is debilitated in Pisces. But I want you to focus in on the Jupiter because it's situated with an exalted planet. Exalted Mars and Jupiter being debilitated. Anytime you have a debilitated planet that sits in the same sign as a planet in its exaltation pretty much cancels it. It's pretty powerful combo. So that was one of the variables that I left out that's so vitally important for you to understand. And.

They'Re in the second house. Now, to have a debilitated Jupiter in the second house, I would tell you this person doesn't have any money, but guess what? She's the richest woman in the world. So be aware, don't judge. Oh, it's debilitated till you follow these rules. Because it's sitting with Mars at its. In its exaltation sign. Capricorn in the second house of finances and money. And even if you go to Mercury, which is debilitated in Pisces, you go to its dispositing planet. Jupiter actually goes to another debilitation. So but.

It'S just that it's with that Mars that makes it incredibly different than what you suspect. So don't ever forget to follow the dispositors. Whether or not they go to their exalted or debilitated sign, remember to look at their retrograde. Remember to look at their in an angle from the ascendant and the Moon. And with Queen Elizabeth, her Jupiter does go to an angle from the Moon. And then check it out in the Navamsha, does it pick up or lose strength? Her, Jupiter and Mars, they go to Virgo in the Navamsha, they don't particularly pick up strength, but that's one thing I wanted you to see because I think one of the biggest, biggest determinants to debilitated planets is for their retribution or cancellation, not completely, but partially. And they overcome the difficulty. It becomes their strength whenever a debilitated planet sits with an exalted planet. So with that, I'd like to close. I hope you've learned something new about debilitated planets and exalted planets. Remember this too, about an exalted planet. When it is.

Exalted in the navamsha, I mean in the birth chart, and it goes to its debilitated placement in the Navamsha, it loses strength. And in the second part of life, that planet's strength will not shine through anymore.
