Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about the new moon that occurs July 9th. And this new moon is going to be a fresh new beginning because it happens in Gemini, right there in the Nakshatra called Poornavasu. Now remember, I'm talking about the Vedic sidereal zodiac, not the western tropical. So everything generally falls back approximately a sign. But before I start, I want to remind everyone to sign up for my free newsletter where you will be getting all of my predictions delivered to your email every month. Go to my website, sign up for my free newsletter, Galactic Center.org and while you're there, take note of my beautiful spiritual jewelry. I am selling prayer malas and beautiful things that remind us of our spiritual path. So one more thing. Let me remind everyone, if you want to stay, study Vedic astrology with me, check out my university website, universityofvedicastrology.com so with that, let's get going and talk about how this new moon is going to affect us. Because it's in the Nakshatra called Poornavasu, which means return of the light. And you see return of the light. I love this because it happens to be that this Nakshatra follows Ardra. So Ardra is the Nakshatra that is in the very middle part of Gemini. And Ardra's symbol is a teardrop. It represents the storms, the rains. It's actually ruled by the storm God, Rudra. So you see, after the heavy storms and the darkness comes the light. It's like the beautiful sunny day that occurs after the heavy storms. This is Poornahvasu. So that's what I feel is exactly what it's going to feel like after the heavy storms. Here we have the fresh beginning, the light of something new. And this is in the sign of Gemini, which deals all with communications and travel. And everyone's getting ready to go on trips to begin their life again after the lockdowns that the coronavirus has involved and put on the entire world. Who would have thought we would be talking about a lockdown for the entire world one day? But it happened. And now everyone feels a sense of freedom, newness, that they can go on with their lives and be free. But there are some other things going on at this time.
It's not all roses yet, because during this time we still have. We have some very heavy aspects still occurring. As the sun is in Gemini.
It is aspected by Saturn and Ketu forming a Yod. And this is the finger of God. This is Something that's come about that has changed the world basically forever. We can never go back to being ignorant, have our eyes closed, being asleep, because now we've been awoken to a whole new new world. What is going on? We know maybe we don't want to believe it, maybe some people close their eyes, but we now know all of the corruption and the things that have been going on behind the scenes.
And I think this is what is fresh and new, the communications. Now we know probably it has a lot to do with, with the mainstream media. What have they been doing? What have they been keeping from us? All of this is new. Who would have thought that around the world.
That they have pretty much kept things from us that we want to know.
It's all about to change. But one positive. Well, not one positive. There's more than one positive, but a positive aspect that I see happening right before this new moon is the fact that Jupiter is casting a trine to the sun. So there is something new coming about in terms of leadership and world connection. Because Jupiter, Jupiter is around 7 degrees.
Of Aquarius and it's casting a trine to the sun moon, but they sit at 23 degrees. Gemini. And Jupiter's aspect to the air sign Gemini represents movement, freedom, travel. These are air signs, Aquarius and Gemini. But the most important thing I think with Jupiter right now.
Is that it is in the Nakshatra that deals with healing, deals with revealing what's out there. And what is that? That's Chad Abishak. That's a difficult Nakshatra, but it is another Nakshatra that deals with healing. And I feel like there's so much that's happening from everything that happened. You know, I used to say, right as the coronavirus was coming on us and we didn't quite know what to expect. I always said, and this is where it's all going to start manifesting, that we will discover new ways of healing, new ways of space travel. And probably we're going to have a lot of help in both areas.
And I hope you know what I mean by that, because I've been saying for a long time that it's all coming out, our connection with the aliens and what they have to give to humanity. You see, Aquarius is a sign of humanity and we are all one. And we have to change. We can no longer be in a place of destroying ourselves. We have to come together with a sense of unity and peace to heal planet and the situation that's been happening. So it is a healing of humanity. Plus, I Believe there's going to be new discoveries in the realm of healing and how we approach health. It's all about energy. And our foods will be transformed and changed. There'll be more information about how to heal the body through food, diet, nutrition, but energy, we. For those diseases that are fatal, we're going to get some answers. We're going to get some opportunities to see how we can reverse disease and dying. This is so exciting.
And I believe some of the information that we're going to receive is going to change our whole way of thinking. There's been so much.
With mental illness that I think this is going to be one of the things that we're going to come forward with, with a better understanding and healing for mental illness, addictions and all sorts of problems that plague the mind.
The working with energy is going to change that. And that is such a powerful and necessary thing that has been needed for long now. This is the beginning, the door is opening in these areas. And this new Moon gives us the information that we've been wanting and needing for so very long now. Venus and Mars are together in Cancer. And while Mars is in Cancer, it does cause some major discord, especially since it's been being opposed by Saturn for, for the entire time it's been in Cancer. And by the time Mars does leave Cancer, let me remind everyone, which will be July 20.
This is where we will better understand.
How to find our security to protect our families, our homes, our countries.
Because.
Cancer, where Mars and Venus are, it's all about family.
And security.
So you see there's been these awakenings that we need more security. And that is going to be prevalent and understood and we will be more protected all around the world. But most of all we have to wake up as to our destructive qualities so that we can eliminate the war like mentality that's been prevalent on planet Earth.
Since recorded history.
So Mars being with Venus, by the way, this is an attractive power and it gives a time for, for the need for love, attention around security. People are searching through relationships for their own sense of security. And.
They will find it through connecting to others. This is what's so important. But if I could go back to the air quality of this new moon being in Gemini. Gemini is the sign.
That is always learning, always teaching. School, education. Things of that nature are going to come to another higher level now that we understand how to operate, learning at home as well as at school. So we're going to merge both. And that's a new principle that wasn't around before. Not before the coronavirus, but we've gotten very adept at some of the tools in teaching at home, which can add to the teaching that's happening in the schools. And the level of education will be much higher. And a lot is going to be done this month, beginning at this new moon, while it occurs in Gemini.
As well as the Nakshatra Poorna Basu, which is actually this Nakshatra, is even ruled by Jupiter. So it's extremely expansive. And it means we're going to make a major comeback in the world, in society, after all the various lockdowns and limitations and economic problems that we have gone through. This new moon gives us light and gives us freedom and gives us hope, and that's where we're headed. So with that, I'd like to close.
