October 2026 Predictions: This Month Isn't What Anyone Predicted | Astrology Predictions

Hi, I'm Joni Patry, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, now I'm here to talk about the month of October, what we can from the planetary alignments. And although things may seem a little quiet, don't kid yourself, this is a month where huge things are brewing. As a matter of fact, the very start of the month starts out with some serious alignments, and what I'm talking about is October 2nd through the 4th. During this time, we have got a pattern in the sky of planets lined up the same degree, and whenever this happens, when we have so many aspects forming at the same time, you can rest assured major events are about to happen. Here's what's going on. While we have Mars at 8 degrees of Cancer, it is exactly opposed Pluto at 8 degrees of Capricorn. Then go to where Mercury is. Mercury is 8 degrees of Libra. So we've got these 2 planets, Mars and Pluto, squaring Mercury. And then we have Neptune at 8 degrees of Pisces, and it is forming a quincunx to Mercury. So this pattern All the planets are forming at 8 degrees cardinal signs, that is Pluto, Mars, and Mercury. But Neptune sits there in the mutable sign of Pisces, totally disconnected by aspect. And this means there's going to be massive miscommunications. Why? Because Neptune is in a quincunx to Mercury, the planet of communications. Plus, we've got amazing things happening with retrogrades this month I'm going to get into. Amazingly, Venus will be retrograde, Mercury will be retrograde, and don't forget that we have Uranus and Saturn— a lot of retrograde planets. And this deals with a lot of review and reanalysis, but most of all, what I really do think there's going to be Negotiations. This is a month that— look for peace negotiations. That's major this month. But let me tell you that Pluto opposing Mars can be very violent at times. Pluto's control, manipulation, while Mars is anger and violence. Put them together and we have some crazy events happening with people that are completely unstable. And yes, things are going to become out of control. That's another thing. What's new, right? Everything seems to be happening like this month after month. So this rare alignment is going to affect many people that may have planets that are connected with that. If you know your chart, you're going to want to look and see, do you have any planets around 8 degrees Sidereally. Remember, I am a Vedic sidereal astrologer. Don't be putting your Western planets in here, your, your tropical placements. It's not correct. But if you know, if you have any planets in a cardinal sign, 8 degrees, and/or anything around 8 degrees Virgo or Pisces, look out. This is a month of radical changes, and I want you to lay low because because if your constitution's weak, this can take you down. You can be much weaker. So watch out for that. This is a very eventful week in October. But here's another thing, because this is going— this can be and will be connecting to many countries' charts. This is another thing where peace negotiations are going to be the focus. And I say that because of where Venus is going to go retrograde. Venus turns retrograde October 3rd at 14 degrees of Libra. Couldn't be a better sign. Why? Libra is the sign of peace. Think about it. Its symbol is the scales. Which brings balance, justice, peace, and retribution. You know, justice for where things deserve to be balanced. And a retrograde is always where you have to return to things, go back, revisit things, analyze things from the past. Now Venus is the planet that goes retrograde the very least. It goes retrograde every 18 months, but in relationship to how long all the other planets are retrograde, it is retrograde the least amount of time. So it's very significant when it is retrograde. And as a matter of fact, if you take its retrograde cycles in an 8-year period, going back 8 years, you will find That Venus always goes retrograde around the same day at the same degree 8 years ago. So if you go back to 2018, what you're going to find— October 2018, which was 8 years ago— Venus turned retrograde somewhere around 14 degrees of Libra in October, around the same day. It usually coincides with the same And day. But what's so interesting about this cycle is every 8 years Venus completes a 5-pointed retrograde cycle. So 5 times before it goes back to the exact degree and time period that it turned retrograde, every 8 years, within that 8 years, there will be 5 retrogrades. But this is only the 8-year segment that it returns exactly. And this is called the pentagram, the petals of Venus that form this remarkable formation of a pentagram, 5-pointed star in the heavens. Very symbolic. But here is what you do. Look back at October of 2018 and whatever was going on in your life, will be similar again this time. Very symbolic and very meaningful because this is how we trace the cycles of the planets and how they affect our lives so poignantly. And it is just an amazing example of how astrology works. Now Venus does deal with peace. Remember, justice, retribution, balance. It deals with peace. So during this time, there's going to be many negotiations to try to find peace. And as you well know, there's been a lot of war going on with Ukraine, Russia, the United States with the Middle East. So this is a serious time of talks and getting things done. And I have noted in a lot of my research That when there were heavy-duty peace treaties, they occurred 9 months after a Venus retrograde. So calculating this into the future, Venus going retrograde in October, it should be around July of 2027 that we will see the results of all of these negotiations. The results, because we're not going to get to a place of peace before then because the planets are going to get Heavier and heavier. You just wait till November. This is the time that we all need to lay low. I'm going to get to that because the planets will go into unbelievable positions that cause great, great turbulence. But here's another thing I want you to realize about Venus retrograde. When it goes retrograde It deals with love and romance. That's the main thing that Venus rules— marriage, love, and romance. So if you think about it, when it goes retrograde, and this is a time of review, sometimes it can bring back an old flame, somebody that you have been thinking about, haven't lost your feelings for. A lot of people, when I tell that to them, they go, oh no, I'm not— there's no one in my past. But if there is, then this is a possibility. And Venus, like I said, will begin to go retrograde October 3rd. Now here's another thing. If there is nobody that you want to revisit a relationship with, and I hear that more than not, there will be memories that return to you about relationships, good memories. And even healing memories concerning issues around relationships during this time that Venus is retrograde. Now, another thing is Mercury this month will be going retrograde. That happens October 24th, and Mercury will also be in the sign of Libra around 26 degrees. Its entire retrograde will be in the sign of Libra. So this is the time of review, negotiations, and because Libra is peace and balance and justice, this is what these negotiations will be about. So get ready, this is a meaningful time for Balancing things, trying to balance things, and it's going to be a while. It's not going to happen overnight, trust me. I think we pretty much discovered that with the way the world is right now. So let's go to— when we talk about Mercury retrograde, it's always a time of reflection, Review, reassessment, reorganization, everything with the words R-E, going back. Because I've told you this many times, but realize the planets are like the ebb and flow of the tides with the retrograde and direct. And when planets pull back and go retrograde, it's a time of pulling back and reviewing. That's That's what the cycle's all about. That's what it's for. But for most of us, we continually push forward, and that's why things go haywire and don't work out as we planned with Mercury retrograde. And Mercury rules communications, it rules travel, it rules any way that we connect to one another, which can be through social media, computers, our phones. Travel, all those things tend to get out of control, going haywire. So take the time to reflect, take it slow, do not force things forward, and you're going to get a much better result. And also avoid all the frustrations and pitfalls that we all make with Mercury retrograde because we're not using the energy of the planets properly. So there's a new moon on October 10th, and it's going to occur in Virgo. And Virgo is the sign that deals with organization, planning, all of those things. It's going to even be in the nakshatra called Hasta, a very powerful, strong nakshatra of gathering and holding on to things, getting things right. This is what this Moon in Virgo is all about— detailed analysis. But you know, I really think this is going to be a heavy New Moon because Saturn's opposed it, and Saturn is heavy. Saturn is serious. Saturn is the planet that means slow down, take it easy. And you've got to be serious about what you're doing. None of this playing around right now. Everything that's being performed and done this month is crucial to the results that we're going to have later, and I'll explain that. So one of the biggest things that are going on this month is that Mars is in Cancer this entire month. It actually went into Cancer around September 19th, and it will remain there till November 13th. And Mars doesn't like it in Cancer. It's its debilitation sign. Cancer's the sign of family togetherness, and when Mars is there, it can mean some disputes and problems within family matters. Breakups. Remember, the family is the really the foundation of our society, and as there are problems within families, there's problems in the entire world and society because as this foundation cracks, so does everything else, and that's what's happening. But cancer does rule the housing markets, real estate. And this means that the— there's going to be a crisis with the real estate market. So prices will go down, but people can't afford them. It's going to be heavy around real estate. Now, this will benefit some people, but others as a whole will suffer due to the markets and what's going on with real estate. Now I want you to know too that Mars in the sign of Cancer is truly digging things up because Mars and Jupiter— Mars is getting closer and closer to Jupiter in Cancer, and together they're digging up a lot of deep, dark stuff. Let me tell you What's going on in the chart I use for the United States chart? This is in the 8th house, and the 8th house in any chart deals with deep, dark stuff— corruption, secrets, what you deny, the dark night of the moon. It is a difficult house. It even deals with death. So many endings And problems. But most of all, what I see, because Pluto is in Capricorn, which is the sign of government, and Mars and Jupiter are in the 8th house— well, Pluto's in the 2nd house of the United States chart, which is the house of money and finances and banks. But we've got Mars and Jupiter digging up all the corruption and crazy Spending and making the economy go up and down. The economy is the focal point of most of the people because— just because everything's gotten so expensive. I mean, you just can't believe where the prices of things are going and doubling and tripling. In so many ways, what's going on? People are asking questions. People are upset. People are angry about this, and for good reason, because usually when prices go up, they don't ever go back down. They may stabilize, but not much do they ever go that much back down. So there's going to be a full moon, and this is going to be October 26th in Aries. And I have to remind you, yes, I'm, I'm not a Western tropical astrologer. And why do I do this? Why on earth would I choose Vedic astrology over the more popular astrology? I mean, shoot, if I wanted to make more business, I would shift to tropical. Because I did tropical astrology, which is Western, for 20 years. It doesn't hold a candle to sidereal Vedic. I'm sorry, guys, if that upsets you. I have the experience of 20 years practicing that system and 20 plus, almost 30 years of sidereal Vedic. I know what I'm talking about. Now, if you— if your matches mine, then I can listen to you. But listen to me, this is where the planets truly are according to the stars astronomically. So that's why I do this. But continuing on with where this month's going, because you don't want to miss out, there is a lot more to come because as we get closer and we're looking at this full moon, this full moon, the moon lights up the sky. It's going to be in Aries and the nakshatra called Ashwini. Aries makes everything go faster. Aries is the sign of speed, new beginnings, pioneers. Jumping into things with courage and valor. This is what this full moon brings about— new beginnings, starts. But let me tell you something about this, because during this, this new moon, Mars and the moon— Mars being in Cancer ruled by the moon The Moon being in Aries ruled by Mars, they exchange signs. And so this is deeply connecting the debilitated Mars to the Moon. And many say, oh, that cancels the debilitation. Doesn't exactly, let me tell you. Yes, it connects them intrinsically. They are connected. And the Moon is emotion, and it is the public. It is the masses. And Mars debilitated is anger. And you'll see people are going to be arising anger towards the end of this month. But towards the very end of the month, then you get Jupiter at the last degree of Cancer, which is incredibly volatile. What is that? Gondanta. You hear me say this, but this truly works. Whenever a planet gets to the last 2 degrees of a water sign and the first 2 degrees of a fire sign, it is called gondanta. And gondanta actually literally means a knot, but as my teacher always told me, it was like drowning. And I have found that that's figuratively people drowning. They feel like they're losing control. But literally too, people can drown. Therefore, this predicts great floods and storms, bad weather around the last part of this month, the last week. Jupiter is Gandanta. In Cancer is the sign that it is the most treacherous, let me tell you, with drowning, people being out of control, out of their minds really. You're going to see this is like at this juncture of Cancer-Leo is like the razor's edge. It's tough, it's extreme. And expect storms, literally and figuratively, to be taken over in this world. And in the United States, we are approaching on the midterms. People are going to be out of their minds trying to gain control. The media, everything is going to be off the charts crazy. And wait till we get to November, because remember what I said, I'm going to give you a little glimpse into the first week of November, because by November 3rd, when there are the midterms, that's when Mars crosses the previous eclipse degree of 25 degrees of Cancer. Major blowups, incredible things will happen that will shock all of us. So it's all building, it's all coming to terms, the world is churning. So, so here's another thing. On October 31st, Halloween, Jupiter enters into a new sign, Leo, where it will be there for 3 months. So from October 31st, 2026 till January 24th, 2027, Jupiter will be in Leo. So during those 3 months, we're going to get a glimpse of what's going to happen the second half of the year. The second half of the year between around June 25th till the end of November of 2027, that's going to be when Jupiter goes back and travels in Leo, and this will bring a much better world. We've got a lot of uncovering, a lot of things to go through before then, but there's going to be a glimpse October 31st through January 24th. And another thing that's really huge is that when Jupiter changes into Leo on the 31st of October, it will begin to align with Ketu in Leo, early Leo. This is an amazing spiritual awakening for the world. Absolutely, the world will change with the new spiritual insight Because of shocking events that will be happening. This is a guarantee. So looking at all this, by November— wow, November is the most intense. That's going to be where Mars will go into Leo too. Mars with Ketu and Jupiter, early, early Leo. And guess what? That will be around 1 degree of Leo. It's Skandanta, out of control. It's in the early first few degrees of a fire sign. Look out. Whatever happens then— let me give you a little preempt of what you can expect— whatever happens then will come about for retribution of what's happening in November. End of March and early April, because that's going to be when Mars and Jupiter and Ketu align again in Cancer. Why? Because these planets are— Mars and Jupiter are going to go retrograde, but Rahu and Ketu always travel backwards. So by the end of November, November 25th, Ketu is going to go into Cancer and Rahu will go into Capricorn, and this marks an enormous change in difference of what is to come. So I have said this so many times, and I mean this wholeheartedly, this is a fact. By the end of 2020 And you can already see this. I've been talking about this year for a long, long, long time, that it would be good, it would be bad, it would be good, and it would be bad. Highs and lows. And that's what we're going through now. We're getting ready to go into one of the most marked karmically times of all. And I have always said by the end of 2026 That the world will look entirely different. Entirely. So there is a divine— don't ever forget this— there is a divine force at work. And no matter how bad you think things are, it needs to happen in order to clear the air and Change the world for the better. Doesn't feel like it at all. And, you know, I am sure anytime anyone is in a dire situation, they can't see the light of where things are headed. Through the destruction comes the cleansing and the transformation. So Always the truth will surface. Don't worry about that. It may not surface in the time frame that you want it to, but always the truth will surface. There is no doubt about that. And so many people are not going to believe the shocking truths that are revealed. But you can't deny what you see. They will try, but they cannot. And this is the most remarkable time to live through with AI and everything changing our world. This is— everything's happening so fast, we can't conceive of what's really going on around us. As I say many times, it's like we're in the eye of a hurricane. We can't see outside of the huge changes as to what is actually happening. And there's a note for assurance that what I'm saying is true. Everything that is happening is being guided by a divine force, and everything that's happening is happening for a divine reason. This is the biggest turning point in humanity. So this month may seem a little like a break, but towards the end, you know, all the negotiations and the changes and issues, problems, and Everything's going to escalate to a bigger, explosive, shocking event, and then the clearing will have to happen. And as I said, it's not going to happen overnight. No, it's going to take a little bit of time. And by next July, through all of the amazing, incredible shocking things that are going to happen. It's going to make it worth it, I promise you that. So with that, I think I'll close.
