A Joni Patry YouTube monologue (uploaded Aug 9, 2024) using Vedic astrology to predict an "October Surprise" tied to the Oct 2, 2024 solar eclipse in Virgo. Patry cross-references the eclipse with the United States natal chart (10th house in Virgo, Saturn present) and warns that Mars transits in Gemini and later retrograde/stationing (noted dates: Dec 7 and late Feb) could trigger violence, attacks (including on national leaders), election chaos, economic instability, and possible pandemic-related health concerns. She highlights potential involvement or tension with China (Xi Jinping) and Russia, and forecasts mass turmoil through early 2025.

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about something very important and very interesting. And I'm going to call this the October Surprise. All the politicians talk about the October Surprise as being a time when something huge happens that could alter the elections.
Well, we're going to have an October Surprise. And I thought the best way that I could probably analyze this would be to look at the October eclipse that's happening. Because eclipses are one of the most powerful tools we have as astrologers for prediction. So I'm going to put up the chart of the solar eclipse that's coming about and it happens in October, October 2nd. And what's so interesting about this eclipse is it's happening in Virgo.
In the sign of Virgo. Virgo is all about health and healing and paying attention to these types of variables. Now in the United States chart, if I cross reference it across the US the 10th house in the USA chart is in Virgo. And Saturn sits there. So. So this will heavily affect the United States. But I keep seeing so many things that are coming up upon us right after October. And one thing that's really important is the transit of Mars during this time. I always say Mars has to do with sudden, unexpected events. It's a trigger and it deals with violence. And Mars is going to be in a position in Gemini that squares this. This solar eclipse. I was going to call it a new moon. Remember, an eclipse is a new moon with Rahu or Ketu. And what's interesting about this one is it is a Ketu solar eclipse. In other words, Rahu and Ketu are the nodes of the moon. And when they come together with the sun and the moon with the new or a full moon, we have either a solar eclipse with the new moon or a lunar eclipse with the full moon. But the solar eclipse is far more important. Okay, but the fact that it's with Ketu can indicate this could be a time of losses. And it is happening in the 10th house in the United States chart. So it's losses around the US but most importantly is where Mars is starting to transit. It's going to be in Gemini. And if you look in the United States chart.
It has four planets in Gemini. Mars is crossing over these planets. Planets. Mars's violence, attacks, wars. And the eclipse happening in Virgo, could it mean that there'll be another pandemic that comes out with it being in Virgo?
I think it's more than that. I think it's. I Think it's more around attacks and I think it's more around our elections too, that are going to be altered big time. And let me just say, whoever is elected president, they're going to say they're not really president and try to take it away. So it's really hard to say who's going to win because.
We'Re not going to know for a while. Yeah. Does that sound familiar? Always. Yes. This is a craziest time I've ever seen astrologically going on. So. So another thing that I want to mention about this is that there are so many countries and leaders that have planets in the signs of Gemini and Cancer. And I say this because with Mars going retrograde December 7th at 1112 degrees of cancer going to be crazy. Mars is violence. When it turns retrograde, it is going to cause great separation and violence. This is right after the elections.
And this eclipse has been triggered. This eclipse is huge.
And actually on the day of the eclipse, Mars sits at 21 degrees of Gemini, which is one degree off of the sun in the United States chart, which represents the leader, which can actually mean an attack on the leader.
There is so much going on here. And I also think by this time it could be that Kamala Harris is in the position of president. Could she be attacked? She better be careful.
And another thing, there's of great importance as we watch Mars when it goes into cancer. And one other thing, when it's going back and forth in Gemini, it is touching the United States natal Mars, which is the ascendant and the rahu of Kamala Harris, a destiny. This is all being put into.
It's all moving forward. It's like the ball is rolling. We can't stop it.
And with the United States being in so much turmoil and disarray, lack of leadership, it could be a time the US Comes under attack. And this could be the October surprise. That's what I was thinking more along the lines of. So thinking about.
Xi Jinping, talking about Kamala Harris and how their charts kind of a line. Xi Jinping.
He has his moon and Ketu in Cancer right where.
Mars is going to station in December, December 7th. And I noticed Russia's chart is activated by planets being in these degrees. And when I was looking at Russia's chart and it also had some planets that are activated by this Mars stationing. It's just the world is going to go into disarray.
China, Xi Jinping is going to be extremely angry at this time.
I know because I noticed his sun sits at one Degree.
Of Gemini. And that actually deals with.
Looking at Kamala Harris's ascendant, Rahu one degree of Gemini. So what you're going to see is.
Some big event involving her, involving China, involving Xi Jinping. And while Mars starts to go retrograde.
It will station to turn direct again in Gemini. That's going to be around the 24th of February. At 22 degrees of Gemini, Mars will station on the sun in the United States chart, which means.
The country's leader will be under attack. The country will be possibly under attack.
Now maybe this is figuratively many times it can be. But here's what I do know just to sum it all up.
We are looking at the most turbulent crazy times coming up this fall. As soon as the eclipse occurs. This is the big October surprise. It's going to change everything. By the time Mars stations to go retrograde in December, we have the United States in chaos over the elections.
Who will be the leader? No one will give up power.
Kamala Harris will probably be the one in power because I see her taking over for Biden until January when they have the coronation of the president which is all still being thought out. It's a crisis and a mess. By February, there's going to be major attacks on who is in the position of a president.
So what I'm looking at through the beginning of 2025 is mass chaos. And of course with all this going on, the economy cannot be faring well. It's crazy. So just I wanted you to get a sense and a feel of what October has to bring. It will be a big surprise. And it is based on this eclipse that you're going to find. We're not going to know who's leading the United States. It's going to be.
Internal war as well as an external war. It's going on and it's.
It's just crazy. That's all I can say. I can't make sense out of this. It's is going to be the. It'll go down in the history books. Just know that the best thing will happen. Everything happens for a divine reason. And we just got to trust may the divine and the best thing for all of our good come about and change our world, change our destiny. It has to spill and explode in order for this to happen. So that's my take on it.
