Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Today I want to talk about Pluto, which a lot of scientists or astronomers claim is no longer a planet. Regardless, it has its powerful effects on the world in consciousness. And as Pluto was discovered in 1930, this was the advent or the discovery of atomic energy. And that's what Pluto rules. And Pluto is all about big explosive events. But bottom line, if I could tell you what Pluto deals with. It deals with issues around control. Pluto is relative to. If you all the meanings of the eighth house, then you know what Pluto means, because it means all the same things such as control, power, big money.
Issues around death, transformation, change, and humiliation and scandals. Pluto is very scandalous. It deals with this intense energy of going to the core in the bottom, of upturning things. And I often tell people that are going through Pluto major aspects of Pluto. It feels like it's just gut wrenching because it just hits at the core and the base of who you are and it changes and, and you change, it transforms you from one person into an entirely different individual. Pluto will stay in a sign at this point in time. It stays in a sign about 12 years, but it has an elliptical orbit. And at the point where it's furthest away from the sun and Earth, it can stay in a sign for 30 years. But right now it's almost in the orbit of Neptune. And not that long ago it was within the orbit of Neptune. So it, it is closer and it stays in a sign about 12 years. So it is generational. Remember, the outer planets deal with generations and world events. And I can say that with the outer planets, particularly Pluto, it will depict generations of people. So as it stays in a sign longer, this is a longer duration in generations that it affects. So it's like the generation of Pluto in Leo, generations of Pluto in Cancer, which were around the time of the wartime and World War II. And that was all about the protection, Cancer, then Leo, the revolution, the change. And so what you're going to find though, that when Pluto is an aspect to the outer planets, it will represent major, major shift. Pluto can also represent big government, the controls. And when it was discovered was around the time when the mafias were like big and rampant throughout the United States. It was like in the 1930s, it was, you know, Chicago, they had the gangs that would just go in and just kill masses of people. You think people are being murdered by machine guns now. It was really rampant back then with the mafias that were controlling Chicago and the big cities in the United States. But aside from those kind of mafia, it can deal with dictatorship. And during that time is when Hitler came into power, when Mussolini and Stalin, all of these big controlled dictatorships were what Pluto brought into the awareness and had its clinches and controls in the world at this time. So Pluto is about atomic energy. It was discovered then. And aspects to Pluto can bring out nuclear energy and bombs and things of this nature. So be aware that Pluto is huge and explosive. It deals with atomic explosions. And this is really what it's about in life. So if it deals with this huge massive energy and transformation, then this also goes to reason that this deals with.
Letting go and surrender. And this is part of the transformational process. It deals with death. Pluto is the God of the underworld. Remember, death is just one of the major transformations that we make in a lifetime. This is what Pluto is about. Change, death, transformation and explosive events. Its power and its control. And if I might say, it deals with scandals and things that are deep, dark and underneath the scenes, because remember, this deals with this energy that is hidden and beyond this world. It can deal with metaphysical and it can deal with our ability to truly, truly change on a conscious awareness level. But it does deal with deep, dark emotional issues and can deal with addictions and, and things that we have that deal with control issues. So mainly it's about being overly controlling when you come to Pluto. So if you have Pluto conjunct the sun, it might mean that your father is controlling Pluto conjunct the moon, your mother's controlling. Pluto conjunct Mars major explosive relationship with brothers or sisters and the fact that they can be extreme and you can be angry in explosive outbreaks. Pluto conjunct Venus. This can deal with issues of betrayal. I've seen it many, many times. Pluto with Jupiter. This can deal with massive transformation and change. Pluto with Saturn will, especially when they're transiting in the heavens, will represent a breakdown of big government and change. It's a very difficult transit. And Pluto does hit Saturn by conjunction square or opposition about every eight to nine years. So you'll find some explosive events in the world at those points in time.
So Pluto is this point of major transitional change. If you put it in the first house, this is somebody who can be overly controlling. And it could be someone who is, you know, bigger than life when it, when it's in the first house, but need to control others in the second house. Control around the areas of finances and money. Third house, it could be about brothers and sisters that are controlling fourth house, a mother that's controlling fifth house. Children that control you in some manner, probably around finances. Remember, Pluto can deal with some big money, corporate, massive money. Not, you know, money that you make, but it deals with world economy as well. Pluto in the sixth house can cause some issues around maybe being ocd, having to be in control of things, eating disorders too. Come under Pluto's domain. Pluto in the eight in the seventh house, problems with relationships that can be over demanding and controlling. Pluto in the 8th House. Major transformational changes that can take place in a lifetime and sometimes some obsessions and secrets and scandals. Pluto in the ninth house, a controlling father. Pluto in the 10th house, you're in control. You could be the CEO. You're going to be in charge of big money, big companies. Pluto in the 11th House can be control around friends groups, but a controlling older sibling. Pluto in the 12th House. Secret agendas. Things lay hidden or dormant that can be explosive throughout life. So you can see Pluto has this essence of change, transformation, but on a deep side, seeded. I mean, let's consider this. Pluto is like the Phoenix. It's like the sign Scorpio. It can rise.
From the ashes and it dissolves, it explodes, it transforms, it changes things forever. That's what Pluto's all about. So.
