Ruchaka Yoga: When Mars Is the Most Powerful Planet in Astrology

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I'd like to talk about Mars as a Mahapurusha yoga. And what does that mean? It means maha means great, Purusha means men. And usually it's called the Pancha Mahapurusha yogas because there's five of them. Pancha means five. But when we're talking specifically about Mars being a Mah Purushi yoga it's called a Ruchaka yoga. And a Ruchaka yoga is when we have Mars in its own sign of rulership which is Mars and Aries. Mars rules Aries or Mars in Scorpio. Mars also rules Scorpio because we use the old rulership system and Mars being in Capricorn is its exaltation sign. So if you have Mars and any of those three signs, it's powerful. But to take it up another notch, put it in an angle which we call a Kendra. Put it in a Kendra house which is what houses, houses. 1, 4, 7 or 10. When you have Mars in any of those three signs, Aries, Scorpio or Capricorn, in any of those houses, 1, 4, 7 or 10. Everything to do with what Mars is about is who you are. You're athletic, you're strong, you're courageous, you're high energy. Everything to do about Mars. You're ambitious, you're driven.

And sometimes you're quick to anger and you're hot. Not only hot headed but you can actually.

Be hot all the time. Yes, because people that have a really strong Mars, I often wonder why, why is it their constitution is they're hot all the time or somebody's cold all the time. Usually when you have a Ruchaka yoga you're going to have the probably the kind of personality and don't forget that's probably the A type personality which they're driven, they're excitable, they're and that's like Mars being an Aries. They're very driven, excitable. They're the first to do something, always going as fast, fast as they can. This is Mars energy. Mars is fiery. They're fiery, inspirational type individuals. With Mars being a Ruchaka yoga, with Mars being in your first house, this is going to be where you can't sit still. You're always on the go, you're always driven to succeed. Because remember Mars is courage and ambition. So many times, not always, but they can be athletic. Mars also rules the muscles in the body, gives strength, also rules the blood. So blood flow People are always, you know, moving, having to go somewhere. Especially with Mars in the first house, Mars in the fourth house. This goes to the core and the bottom of who you are and Mars will give you that intensity of power, ambition, drive, power, but most of all courage. People are so courageous with the strong Mars and you wonder how they have that kind of courage and power. It's through Mars, Mars in the seventh. This is Kuja Dosha. What is Kuja Dosha?

Problems in marriage. You will have someone in your life. It's not always going to be that way, but you will have problems with confrontational type partners. But Mars being in these signs will represent that they are very, very powerful individuals and you're going to have to learn how to work with them to get along and you can. So I'm in the belief that what we see in our chart, we have the power to change it by understanding it. But this is a powerful partner. Plus you are powerful because when planets are in the 7th, they are casting their light on the 1st. Courageous, powerful, ambitious and driven. Mars in the 10th is exceptional for career. I have seen so many successful business people with Mars in the 10th house. And if you've got the Ruchaka yoga in the 10th, look out, that's going to be high level and degree of success. I'll say this, my oldest son Christian, he has Mars in aries in the 10th house, conjunct Rahu and he has always been majorly successful with business, owns his own company and he's relatively young. So yeah, this is the power of Mars being in the 10th house. Remember Rahu magnifies things. So if you've got Mars with Rahu in in one of these signs and it's in the 10th house, you will always be a success with your work and your career. This will work whether you're there or not. Yet you will be. So this is the power of these Mahapurusha yogas. They really do make a statement. Whatever that planet is all about, it'll be stamped on your forehead and that's who you are and that's incredible. So with that I'd like to close.
