Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about an important yoga that you can find in your chart and as well as when the planets are transiting to these positions. And it's called a Saraswati yoga and it's named after the goddess Saraswati, which actually deals with knowledge, learning, the arts, all this type of information. So it's about education, learning, and I love it. It's like people that are artists of all sorts, such as literary artists, writing, can deal with painters, people who express themselves in a beautiful way. So this is the Saraswati yoga. And.
What actually it constitutes is when you have the three benefic planets in the same sign, all conjunct. So basically it is when you have Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, all in the same sign. Now, there are different variations of this yoga, you know, I know that there's all these different variations and it isn't exact unless you have it in certain houses. But I've seen the relevance of these three benefics being all together. This is, in my opinion, a Saraswati yoga and it brings together this beautiful creative ability with Venus and Jupiter, the expansion and Mercury with the mind and learning and education. So depending on what house these three planets, and generally it's when they're by themselves not influenced by Rahu Ketu. And it's hard to get these planets without the sun being there. Why? Because the sun is always close to Venus and Mercury. But the pure Saraswati is not going to be influenced by the sun or other planets. So looking for this yoga, they say that it should be in a good strong house, such as a triconal house, which are the houses that are the luckiest, which are 1, 5 and 9, or in a Kendra, an angular house, which are houses 1, 4, 7 and 10. The first house serves double duty. It's. It can count as a triconal or a Kendra. Kendra simply means the angular houses 1, 4, 7 and 10. These are the strongest houses in a chart. But if you have these three benefics in the 8th, the 12th or the 6th house, you know, it's still going to bring some beauty to those houses, even though those planets may be weakened definitely in these particular placements. These are the destana houses, which are 6, 8 and 12. But let me just say this beautiful yoga, and especially I look for times during the year that it occurs. Usually it occurs once a year. It's not that rare because essentially wherever Jupiter is, when you get the Mercury and Venus, they come along and essentially Mercury and Venus, they never travel that far from the sun. So at some point they will come into the same sign that Jupiter's in. And without the sun, you will get a Saraswati Yoga. But sometimes it's mixed in. Like next year, Jupiter is going to be traveling for the most part, most of the year with Ketu. So there's not going to be a clear, refined Saraswati Yoga during that year. But let me inform you about a day and a time period that's coming up here that we will have the Saraswati Yoga happening in the sky. And it is from October 28 till November 4. It's a very short span of time because on November 4, Jupiter shifts into Sagittarius and it's going to be with Ketu. But during that window of time, from October 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st, November 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th, we're going to have.
Only Jupiter, Venus and Mercury together. And that's the Saraswati Yoga. So during this time, you can plan to do very educational things, things that explain expand your mind, your awareness, your consciousness. Go to an art gallery, go to a museum, go to places where you can learn more about the arts or start journaling. Do something where you express yourself from the deepest sense of your soul. And the Saraswati Yoga will expand that level of awareness and consciousness for you in a beautiful way. This is a beautiful yoga and it's a very opportune time to do things. So wanted to point out this window of time this year because it is a wonderful, wonderful time. As a matter of fact, I planned as close as I could the weekend of my conference to capture which my conference will be. I think it's late that night.
On October 27th, which is the day that we will all say our farewells and goodbyes. On a beautiful note, with the Saraswati Yoga going on, I might as well give a little plug here while I'm at it. I have a wonderful Vedic Astrology conference that I plan every year and it's in Dallas. Check it out. The speakers are phenomenal. It's going to be an experience in Dallas, Texas. It's October 25th through the 27th, but I actually planned the conference to kind of capture the essence of that Saraswati Yoga, which is. Which deals with beauty, refinement, art and learning of all kinds. So with that, I'd like to close. Look for the Saraswati. You may have it in your chart, in your birth chart. This will give you that power of creativity, that artistic ability, as well as literary genius. So check it out. And for from here, I just want to say check out my conference. And also if you want to learn Vedic astrology, remember I have an online university called university of vedicastrology.com. thank you.
