Promotional announcement by astrologer Joni Patry for the Sedona Vedic Astrology Conference (Sedona, Arizona), scheduled November 21–25. Patry describes multiple sessions she will teach: an all-day workshop based on her new book "Moon Mind and Consciousness" about the central role of the natal Moon (including Nakshatras and transits such as Saturn to the Moon), a class on DASHAs and transits for predicting futures, and a Friday-night predictions talk about 2020. The talk emphasizes practical lunar techniques (panchanga, best days), the blending of transits with planetary periods in Vedic prediction, and the conference's community-building value.

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and I'd like to welcome you to the Sedona Vedic Astrology Conference held in beautiful Sedona, Arizona. This dates are November 21st through the 25th and this is an opportunity of a lifetime. The lineup of speakers at this conference is incredible and the classes that are going to be taught are new exciting things you've never learned before will be in these classes. For example, I would like to talk about some of the classes that I'll be speaking there. I'm going to do an entire all day workshop on my new material in my new book called Moon Mind and Consciousness. And I want you to know just how important the moon is in your astrological chart. Realize the natal moon in your chart is what sets up the entire dasha sequence of your life. When you will experience things within your lifetime is based on whatever Nakshatra your natal moon is in. So that sets the pace for your entire lifetime. Plus realize the moon is consciousness, it is the mind. And we react according to our emotional body and that's what the moon rules. The moon determines our entire lifetime of responses, reactions, the way we feel. Because really everything that we do in life and the things that we choose.
And consequently causes our experiences is based on the moon. This says we make choices based on our feelings. So I'm going to talk about the depths and the importance of the moon throughout life and realize that when we talk about Sati Sati, what are we talking about when transiting Saturn comes to your natal moon? So, so I'm going to be talking about all the transits to the moon, the placements of your moon in your chart, especially in terms of the Nakshatras. This is so important. What Nakshatra is your moon in? Now all of this is going to be.
Shown or really seen through the charts of very, very famous people because these are the examples that really exemplify how, how these things result. What this is all about the moon mining consciousness. And even when you're looking at the moon on a daily basis, how to choose the best day in accordance to the moon so we can be looking at the pachanga. It's all based on the moon. So the importance of the moon. I'm going to do an entire all day workshop relative to the importance of looking at the moon not only in your birth chart, but looking at it as it transits daily, its effects. So another thing that I'm looking forward to speaking about at this conference is the predictions for 2020. Realize as astrologers we've been looking forward to this time period in 2020 for years. And I'm going to tell you some things that maybe you haven't heard from anyone else because this year 2020 will be a big surprise for everyone. Don't miss my predictions Friday night on 20 20. And furthermore, I have another class I'll be teaching on the dashas Planetary how to see and predict your future, not only through looking at the transits and the dashas. These coming together really are the basis of how I make my predictions in Vedic astrology. The blending of the transits with the planetary periods, the DASHAs. So this conference is going to be such an exciting experience because not only are we learning all of this amazing Vedic knowledge, but we're all coming together as a group to really share ideas and to form new friendships. Because I think it's so, so important to bring people together, to really get to know people and connect. Because that is one of the beautif reasons why we have these conferences where we can all come together, experience and understand each other from a very, very personal level. So I look forward to seeing everyone again. It seems like every single year these conferences get better and better because we all need to come together, especially during this time and and what's ahead of us in the year of 2020. So I hope to see you in Sedona in November. Thank you.
