Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about the new moon that happens September 14th. This new moon is in Leo. And boy, is this a needed new moon because we need something fresh and new. Leo is all about creativity. It's the most expressive and creative sign of the zodiac. Deals a lot with entertainment, acting, performing art of all levels. Just because creative, expressive, this is the sign of Leo. It occurs around 27 degrees of LEO and it is in the Nakshatra Uttara Falguni, which is a Nakshatra that deals with friendship, coming together with people, organizing things together. And most of all, this is a Nakshatra of good, solid, loyal friends. So this is a time for group gatherings and to share. Remember this Nakshatra and this sign Leo is all about sharing our creative essence, who we are, get it out there. It's fun, it's delightful. Leo is the most playful sign. So all at the same time, we have Mercury here. Mercury is in Leo too. And Mercury is stationing. It's a day before it turns direct. In other words, it's standing still. And it sits here around 14 degrees of LEO, right smack dab in the center of the sign. So this means that things are going to start coming together. Mercury with the new moon coming together with a compromise, with talking things out, getting things out, processing things, and most of all, where all of the stuff standstill and strikes were. It's time for a compromise. It's not just all one way. Nobody gets their way on every account. You got to realize that other people have their differences of opinions and we've got to come together and find a way to connect and compromise. That's what I think this Mercury retrograde and stationing getting ready to turn direct in Leo. Now whenever you put the Moon and Mercury together people tend to overthink things. So at some point give it up, let it go. You know, make a decision, move on. Don't be stuck in your head going over and over the same issues. That's what Mercury and Moon and sun all together tend to do. So Uranus as it is ascending this almost exact trinal aspect to this new moon. As uranus sits around 28 degrees of Aries and this new moon sits at 27 degrees of Leo we have a trinal aspect. Uranus is about change. It's about looking at things with a new vision. What's on the cutting edge, inventive type ideas and behaviors. So so as it aspects this new moon you're going to find that people are so much more inventive and creative in a way of things that you never thought of before. It's like what is visionary, what is on the cutting edge. This is the planet of change. But it's in a harmonious trinal aspect to this moon. So change should be coming about and it should be something that's going to make this world improve and get better. I think there are new, new inventions on the horizon coming that are going to make life better and easier. Jupiter is actually in a trinal aspect as we speak as well. It's just Jupiter's not exact but by sign and it's in a good trine. So it brings an awareness of open mindedness and opportunities because it seems like we're up against a wall with this Mercury retrograde. So, so things are starting to harmonize and open somewhat with new ideas. We need to be open to new ideas. This is the way of the world. Now. Another thing that's been going on for quite some time and I've talked about this a lot is that we have the stationing of Rahu and Ketu. They're standing still because whenever we come close to to the time of eclipses where we're going to have a solar eclipse in October, we get this standstill. We get this feeling that.
Things are about to change. Now rahu being at 0 degrees of Aries at this point in time is Gandanta. I've been talking about this. People are out of control right now. Yes, this new moon does give us the opportunity to start something new. But people are out of control. They're fed up, they're over the top with that. Things need to change now. People are getting angry with this Gandanta Rahu in Aries. And don't forget, Rahu is at the Aries point. This is a very sensitive point in the zodiac. It's the beginning. Things are going to change. There is going to be a breakthrough with a new beginning. And looking also at this chart, when I look at the sun being in Leo, of course the new Moon is when the sun and Moon are exactly together. But the sun pretty much is the display planet by sign with all the other planets except Saturn. Saturn is in its own sign as well as the Sun. And Saturn does oppose the Moon and the sun not exactly by degree, but just by signs. And this tells me there is, even though we have this ray of light, of creativity during this time, we have this oppressive sense, sense that something's not right with what, what is the Sun? The leadership, the governments. And this goes for around the world. But whoever is in charge is the president, and that's what the sun represents. So around the world, whoever's in charge, there's something that needs to change. Saturn's aspecting it, Uranus is aspecting it. We also have Mars, which sits in front of this new Moon. So this means that Mars being in Virgo, by the way, sitting second from the new Moon means there's going to be a lot of expenses, A lot of things are going out expense wise. But what I think this expense wise has to do with something to do with the health, the health of the world. And maybe it's something to do with the fact that people aren't well right now. People are getting sick everywhere. This is Mars in Virgo.
But I believe it's temporary. It's just the fact that the governments start to overreact and try to scare everyone. So don't let that affect you. So if I had to say, what is this new Moon all about? Use this new Moon to be more creative. When these new ideas and visions come into your head, use them, act on them. Don't sit there and think, oh, you know that's not going to work, or I don't believe that. No, these are brilliant ideas. Jot them down and take action. So it's a time of beginnings, change and creative prospects that need to come about and put into action. This will help change your life. And rest assured, Mercury's just about finishing up.
