Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about this spectacular solar eclipse that's going to happen April 20, 2023. This month, it's upon us. So this solar eclipse is so powerful because it is a Rahu solar eclipse. Remember, Rahu is the north node of the moon. And let me remind everyone I'm doing sidereal Vedic astrology, not tropical western. But Rahu is the north node of the moon and an eclipse is either with Rahu or Ketu. This one is Rahu, which magnifies and expands things. And here's the deal. On the time of the solar eclipse, Jupiter will be. It's a day before it transits into aries. So it's 29 degrees of Pisces Gandanta. So everything is kind of out of control and.
Intense and crazy during this time. This is a major shift now throughout this month. We've got. Mercury is going to turn retrograde this day or the next day, excuse me, the 21st, the eclipse is on the 20th. But as Jupiter transitions into Aries and Mercury goes retrograde the same day that Jupiter transitions into Aries, expect everything to shift and change. By the way, the day that Mercury goes retrograde or direct, it always changes the feelings of people in whatever way. And absolutely around this time of the eclipse, travel plans will go haywire. I'm thinking there may be some big computer glitches that go down and things will be like Gandanta. Jupiter's Gandanta. Right. So things are out of control.

And the intensity of an eclipse, what is an eclipse? It's a new moon with. With Rahu or Ketu. And it's in Aries. The sun is exalted in Aries. This is huge. This is big. This is transformational in so many ways. It's a big birthing. Something explodes before the new birth and the healing that's here to come. But this eclipse is pretty interesting because not only is Saturn aspecting where Rahu is this whole time, which is another indication of this is a very, very karmic time.
Worldwide.
What do I mean by a karmic time? This is a time of destiny. It was all set in motion to happen at this time. Astrology is all about timing and that's what's about to transpire. The timing of certain events that, yes, gives us opportunities for great change, transition.
You can take these opportunities personally for your own life.
But the world is changing. It's transforming.
Because of what's been going on for the past two years. Everything happens for a reason.
And ultimately, whether we know it or not, it's a good reason because it promotes growth, even though we may go through hell to get there, but does always promote growth. And that's what we look for, that the divine will heal and make the world a better place. But there are so many resistances to the growth that that's what caused the chaos. So this is a very chaotic time. But I will say this. One good thing that is going on is Venus is in Taurus. And while Venus is in the sign of Taurus, this is a beautiful thing because the area of love and romance will prosper and grow. As a matter of fact, around.
Two days after this, April 22 is a time of glory and goodness. There will be goodness that transpires in this month because.
That will be when the Moon and Venus collide together, not only in Taurus, but in the Nakshatra Rohini, which is a beautiful, beautiful thing. So take advantage of that time around the 22nd of April. It's a good time to start any project as well as it is a good time for marriage, relationship, go for it. This is a very, very prominent, beautiful time for relationships and love and marriage. But.
Other things are just going on that are causing massive chaos with travel and communications. As Mars is in Gemini and Mercury is in Aries. I've been talking about this a lot. This will foul up the communications, the computers, our mind. It will make you more forgetful. Be very cognizant and extra careful and double check yourself when you leave the house. Make sure you have your keys before you lock the door, all sorts of things like that. That's what will be happening. Because Mercury turns retrograde, it's stationing on the day of the eclipse, it's standing still. It is very important. It's almost exactly with Uranus around this time, which can also, by the way, cause you to have some epiphanies and some magical realizations of things. Inventions come to mind and there will be new inventions and beginnings of new things dealing with aviation, dealing with transport of all kinds, traveling by car. But do be aware the weather may not cooperate during this time with Jupiter. Gandanta as well as travel plans may not go so well. But look on the bright side, Venus is in a placement where it will entice love, romance and relationships. This is a beautiful thing, especially if you have a moon or a rising in Taurus or Scorpio, by the way. So that's going to be. This is going to be a very Positive month. We'll go over those details when I talk about the signs. But for the most part, this is. Remember, a new beginning is where the seed is planted and a new start occurs. And so many things are going to come out of this new birthing process that this solar eclipse, New Moon will bring about for the planet. It's going to be.
It'S going to be huge. It's going to be breathtaking, it's going to be surprising. Uranus and Mercury, the way we think, Let me just say this, the way you think is about to change. And I still believe this is a new opening of awareness, consciousness, where the level of understanding for humankind is going to shift and all of a sudden become more powerful. So if you're having weird sensations with your head, if you're feeling light, light headed, if you're feeling a little confused, realize this is the transformation, transformation that's happening on the collective unconscious. And you're sensing it, you're feeling it and you know it. This is, like I said, I'm going to say it again, a new reset for humanity. So get ready.
