Hi, I'm Joni Petrie, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Today, I'd like to talk about a very treacherous, thick star called Algol. Algol is all about decapitation, the head being cut off. And of course, this can be relative to symbolically the head coming off or someone losing their mind, losing their temper. That could be relative to the star as well. So this particular fixed star is going to be around one degree of Taurus. If you're looking at the sidereal Vedic chart. Otherwise in the tropical western chart, it is 24 degrees of Taurus. So this is called the star of Medusa's head. And we all know in Greek mythology, Medusa's head was all the serpents for the hair. But it deals with decapitation as Medusa's head was cut off. So since it deals with decapitation, I find that the star was very prominent at the time when we had Isis cutting off people's heads. Remember as they were showing this on television, and I remember looking, and the sun was conjunct agol. So what you're going to want to do is find if you have any planets.
That are conjunct this degree or oppose this degree. So therefore, you're looking at 24 degrees of Taurus or 24 degrees of Scorpio. This is in the western tropical chart. But sidereally in the Vedic chart, we're going to be looking at 1 degree Taurus or 1 degree of Scorpio.
And this star actually is called the demon star. And demon actually comes from the word, or alcohol comes from the word demon. So this star can be relative to alcoholism or drug addiction as well. And this would be reminiscent of losing the. The mind, losing the head. This is a binary star, which means two suns that revolve around each other. And it is known to be blinking and flickering and it disappears and then it comes back. So this is the pulsing binary star, but it is in the constellation of Perseus. And this is probably one of the nastiest stars. So you're going to want to find out there's anything to do in your chart with the star, any planets around those degrees. And one person that I found has the star prominent in her chart was Nicole Simpson. Her sun was at.
27 degrees of Taurus in the western chart. So that would make it around 3, 2 to 3 degrees of Taurus in the sidereal chart. So they said that Nicole was. Her neck was severed so severely that she was actually decapitated. So this star deals with decapitation and.
It's a treacherous, nasty, very bad star. And this one is one of the ones that I really really regret when I find in a chart, but many times remember it can deal with alcoholism. So check that out. Make sure you know your fixed stars.
