Short interview excerpt in which Stefania Leone describes transitioning from Western to Vedic astrology after realizing Western methods were inadequate for her practice. She recounts early exposure to astrology through her mother (reading Edgar Cayce and Jean Dixon) as a child and acknowledges the difficulty and investment required to retrain into Vedic astrology.

Explain a little bit about your knowledge with all of that so that everyone can better understand the difference between the Western and the Vedic astrology.
Like you. I know there's a handful of us that were brave enough once we were already deeply entrenched in Western astrology that we were brave enough once we realized that we were doing it wrong to go back to school, make the investment in money and time and the brain shift that the consciousness shift that was needed to go to the Vedic astrology. So I honor you for that because that was not easy. You know.
When I first became well, I started studying as a child my mom was really into Edgar Cayce and Jean Dixon and all these and I was reading all her books by the time I was 6, 7, 8 years old.
You know, same thing with me. My mother had all those same books around the house and I read them all when I was a teenager.
That's so funny.
