To begin with, I would like to cover what astrology truly is, because I believe astrology is the oldest science in the world and what it encompasses is math. For one thing, astrology is really based on mathematical groupings of how everything fits together in the universe, and that is all mathematical.
What we're going to look at is how this is in part of the universe, how we fit in the universe through astrology. I called this the divine order of the universe, because everything is interconnected and everything has meaning. And through astrology you will understand yourself. And when you understand yourself, you understand everything about the universe, as above, so below. And so with this, first of all, I would like to begin with our basic beginning course that helps you understand what astrology truly is and what you can use it for, which is basically astrology has to do with spirituality, it has to do with psychology, it has to do with numerology, numbers has to do with geometry and physics, and of course, astronomy. So in this first lesson, I want to explain a little bit of the astronomy because if you don't understand what we're working with, then you can't really understand all of the principles and how it all ties together. So with that, let's start with that. This system based on Parashara system, Parashara created the text and of course Vedic astrology is referenced so many years ago, but Parashra's text is called the Brihat Parashastra, and in that has devised the principles that we're going to go through. But let me tell you about where Vedic astrology, the very first reference that we can find and in it are in the Vedas. That's why we call Vedic astrology Vedic astrology. Why? Because it comes from the Vedas. So in essence, what I'm really teaching you is Indian astrology. This is the astrology from India, but we like to call it Vedic because the first reference in the Vedas date back approximately 150 to 2000 BC.
In the Vedas, Vedic astrology was put together, or the whole Vedas were put together as hymns, songs. And what it relates to is the body of man. So everything was related to our physical being as a body. And it was like in songs. So in these hymns, there's certain portions of the body that relate to different sciences, such as yoga, Ayurvedic medicine. These are all branches.
Of the Vedas, which astrology is one. But I find it so interesting when you realize that Vedic astrology or astrology is the eyes of the Vedas. You see, there's other branches, such as the limbs, the arms, and other parts of the body. But astrology relates to the eyes, and it's called Jyotish. And what jyotish actually means is the light. So this is the science of light. And what this does is it gives us vision and gives us sight into this world that we really have no knowing. So astrology is essentially that which will give us knowing and what will give us light into understanding our life in the world. And remember, if you know yourself, you know everything about the universe. So that's why it was put together as the body of man. Know thyself and you will know essentially everything as above, so below.
You see, everything is constantly in flux and constantly moving. So we have the stars, the planets, our life. Everything changes. And Vedic astrology takes into account the changes that have been occurring over, you know, all the time. It's always happening. And that is what we call procession of the equinoxes.
These constellations, these groupings of stars are relative to the signs that we look at. So when we look at the zodiac, we're looking at a band of stars, and it surrounds planet Earth, because remember, when we're talking about the chart, talking about us, we're talking about being from Earth. The vantage point is planet Earth. So as this band of the zodiac surrounds Earth, everything is moving. But in ancient times, they called the stars fixed stars, because apparently in a lifetime, they never really moved. Seemed to move, but they are moving very slowly. And this is because of the wobble of the Earth. You see, the wobble of the Earth projects the image of our center where we look at the zodiac, how the zodiac, where our reference beginning point is. And so western astrologers always use 0 degrees of Aries. That's the beginning of the zodiac, but it's constantly changing. So now the beginning of the zodiac because of this slow precession, is what we call it moving backwards. The stars, the constellations. As they move, the starting reference point of the zodiac changes. And as it changes, it moves backwards 1 degree over a period of 72 years. So every 72 years, it's moved backwards. So the starting reference point of the zodiac that the western astrologers are using 2000 years ago was at 0 degrees of Aries, but over a long period of time and to this point, 2000 years later, it's moved 1 degree every 72 years backwards. So starting from 0 Aries, then it moves back 29 degrees of Pisces and continues to move backwards 1 degree. Eventually, as it continues through all of the zodiacal signs, then you're going to find that it takes approximately 26,000 years for it to go through each of the 12 signs in the zodiac. So right now in the process of precession, the starting reference point is approximately around 6 degrees Pisces. So in 72 years it will be 5 degrees Pisces and so on. So it's going to take approximately about 430 years, give or take a few years, to finish out the entire sign of Pisces and enter into the age of Aquarius. So we call these the ages of mankind. And whatever age we're in, the starting reference point of the zodiac. And you're going to find that whatever that sign's about is what humanity is truly experiencing. So right now, as we're still in the age of Pisces, Pisces 2000 years ago, when it initiated, it was actually around that time the birth of Christianity, because of the birth of Jesus. So during that time we have the symbol for Pisces which is very prominent in all of the churches. It's the fish. Pisces symbol is the fish. And so all the churches were born, all the churches were built. And that really goes worldwide, not just in the western world. Churches, temples, ashrams, all of these means to worship the divine were built. This is pretty much what Pisces is truly about. So we have the age of Pisces. And once the age of Pisces is complete, I think all of the reference to religions will be quite different. Because you see the saying for Pisces, I love the sayings for the signs is I believe so this is truly about our belief systems. But when we come to the ancient Aquarius, it's. I know, and Aquarius is very much about the trends that we're moving towards with technology. And I think the world will be a much more technical place with knowingness, especially spirituality, instead of the dogmas of religion. I believe it's going to move more towards the knowingness and spirituality.
Going back to my main issue here, and that is about astrology, Vedic astrology uses the true reference point because of this wobble of the earth. It uses this point of around 6 degrees of Pisces as the beginning of the Zodiac. Whereas Western astrology is still using 0 Aries. That's why when you look at a Vedic chart as compared to your Western chart, it moves backwards almost a full sign, not quite, because remember there's 30 degrees to a sign. So if it has moved all the way to 6 degrees of Pisces, this Means the difference between the Vedic and the Western chart is going to be approximately 24 degrees backwards in the zodiac from where all of your points are in Western astrology to the degree difference that we're talking about. About 23 to 24 degrees difference is called the Ionumptia. So if you take all of your planetary points from your Western chart, move them backwards 24 degrees, then you're going to have your Vedic placements, which by the way are the true astronomical placements according to astronomers. So this is the system that we're using, or the calculation system is called the sidereal system, whereas Western astrology uses the tropical system. The tropical system is seasonal. It's really based on the sun. It's based on the movement of the Sun. Every year will create certain seasons. Every first day of spring, March or anytime we have the solstice points, the summer solstice, the fall equinox, the winter solstice in the spring equinox, then you're going to find that there's a big change of seasons depending on where you are in Earth. But normally these are called the cardinal points. So they're the points where there's change. And the sun of course is going to determine what seasons we have, how close or far it is from where we are in our orbit around the sun. So western astrology is constant and fixed and based on the seasons. And that's probably why the sun sign astrology does pretty much seem to work. But with Vedic astrology, this is really a lunar based system you're going to find because what it looks at and makes reference, very important reference to is the moon. Because the moon in Vedic astrology sets up the entire cycle of our life in terms of the dashas, which you are going to learn in detail about.
Now I want to discuss the natal chart. Because in a natal chart everything has a beginning. When we talk about a natal chart, this is our birth, our birth into the world. And, and generally I believe it is taken from the time that we take our first breath. So when we take the first breath, the time is the birth of our being into this world. And that is the time that's taken for our chart. And remember, when we're looking at a birth chart, we're looking at the birthday, the birth year, the time of birth and the place of birth. Because of course it's a different time in every location on Earth. So with this we are looking at where all the planets were at that time, day, place of birth. So also what you have to remember is the, ascendant is determined, this is the beginning of the chart is determined by the time. So, so the time is so important and many people have just a roundabout time. So sometimes this can make astrology inaccurate and it's very frustrating to us as astrologers. But please remember to get as accurate as a time as you can, because with Vedic astrology, it gets really specific and what we're really dealing with is mathematics.
When you have the time, the time of birth, exactly, you will have to look at what is rising on the eastern horizon of the Earth when you're born. So you see the Zodiac as it revolves around the Earth. And remember, we know we're really going around the sun, but we're looking at everything going around us because our vantage point is geocentric, meaning Earth back. But what happens is in a 24 hour period, the band of the Zodiac, because of the spinning of the Earth on its axis, will go through all 12 signs. So we have 12 signs, each sign is 30 degrees. So if you look at it.
There'S 24 hours in a day because each sign will rise on the eastern horizon for two hours. From the beginning to the end of that 30 degree sign will take two hours. So therefore, every four minutes, a degree changes on the Ascendant. So that's how specific each degree of the Ascendant changes every four minutes. But in a two hour time for an entire sign will pass through the eastern horizon. So if you take that two hours times 12, we have the 24 hour day and it goes through all the 12 signs. So constantly there is this Zodiac that crosses over the Ascendant. So if you were just to look at where the planets are in relationship to what sign they're in, that will determine what segment it will fall in. So once we determine the Ascendant, we put that sign and that degree on the Ascendant. That's the first house. So from that we're going to go from the first house and the second house. The second house will be what sign is following the first sign that's on the eastern horizon. And how is that determined? Through the natural Zodiac. The natural zodiac starts from Aries, and it continues like it does through the seasons. If you're familiar with your Western astrology signs, you know Aries is in March, Taurus is next, Gemini is next, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces. This is the order of the natural zodiac. So if you have Gemini rising as your Ascendant, meaning that that's Your first house, then the second house will follow in the natural order, meaning that Cancer is the sign that follows Gemini. So that will be how your chart is set up. Your houses are going to be very important, as you will find. We're going to discuss that in detail. Each house in a chart is about what area that concerns your life, whether it's home, love, family. We're going to cover that in explicit detail. But you've got the houses which are set up by what time you're born. And then you have the planets. The planets are the energy. And as the planets move in, in our sky, it's going to be, they're going to be moving in and out of particular signs. So you see, what we have is actually, if you look from Earth and you see the backdrop of where the stars are, each segment of that backdrop of stars will be associated to a sign. So you see we have 12 signs. So the 12 signs pretty much about 30 degree segments relative to how we work with, with astrology. So you're going to have the sign set up. There's 12 of them. And as, as the planets move, they move across the signs. So really, like we said, the stars are fixed and they're relative to the signs. So they're like the backdrop. While the planets move across this backdrop every night, you can see the moon moves somewhat and the moon moves through the signs of the zodiac. And if you were to take your birth, your time of birth, your day and place of birth, that's a freeze frame of where those planets were at your day and time of birth. So whatever signs that they're in, according to their movement through the backdrop of the zodiac, whatever sign they're in will be where they go in your chart. So once you set up the houses, which the houses are relative to whatever sign's rising, then the planets, according to what house. Like for example, if your ascendant is Gemini and the second house is Cancer, well, if Jupiter on that day, time of your birth was in Cancer, it would be in your second house. So this is how you're going to be able to understand how we put all this together. Because once we figure out where the planets are, they're going to reside in a particular sign which will be placed in your chart according to your ascendant, which is the very first house. The next thing that we're going to look at after we put the planets in and the houses are going to be the aspects which are the angular relationships between the planets. So the planets are making these, you know, like degree how far they are from each other. And these are, these aspects are like conjunctions. Are they in the same sign? Are they in the opposite direction sign, 180 degrees? Are they 90 degrees? These are all aspects. So you're going to see how, how we're going to really look at astrology in a different way, putting all of this together. And I want you to really look at, look at your chart as not just planets, but as a life map. This is going to give you the information that you need to look at your life differently, because your life is all about where the planets are.
One more thing I might add is that we use the equal house system. The equal house system means that even though your ascendant according to what time you're born, may be in the very last degree of a sign, let's just say your ascendant is 29 degrees of Gemini, then that means the whole entire first house will be Gemini, even though it's at the very last degree, because we use a sign per house. This is going to make it so much easier when you're trying to figure out what planet rules what house. So as Western astrologers become of the, of the shape of the earth and where you are, longitude and latitude, sometimes these houses can get really, really distorted. But with this, we've got equal houses. So it doesn't matter if you're born on the equator or the higher or most southern latitudes, you will find that this is going to tell you so much more information and it's a cleaner, purer system.
In Vedic astrology, we also have two different kinds of charts. They read exactly the same. And the chart that you will be more familiar with and use is going to be the one that your teacher taught you. It's just, that's the one that you're used to using. But they're exactly the same. The first one I want to talk about is, is the Northern Indian style chart. And it's because of course, it is used in northern India.
Now you are going to use the Southern Indian style chart, because that's what I use. That's what my teacher taught me with, and that's what you're being taught with, with me as your teacher. So you will probably get more acquainted with the Southern Indian style chart. Now, the Northern Indians chart has a diamond in the middle. And this diamond exemplifies just how important the angles in the chart are. And when I say angles, I mean in Vedic astrology they're also called the Kendras. And kendra means center. But the Angled angular houses are 1, 4, center and 10. And these are the houses of power. They give amazing power. Planets in these houses will be stronger and deliver results. You're going to find and many of the yogas and everything we're going to be talking about can relate to this. So in the diamond part of this chart are 1, 4, 7, 8, 10. And what you're going to find is there's numbers on the, on all these little boxes. So the numbers are not the houses, the numbers represent the signs. So as I made reference to the natural zodiac, the signs numbers will be relative to that. For example, Aries is 1, Taurus is 2, Gemini is 3, Cancer is 4, Leo is 5, Virgo is 6, Libra is 7, Scorpio is 8, Sagittarius is 9, Capricorn is 10, Aquarius is 11 and Pisces is number 12. So if you saw at the very top part of the chart, if you see a number two, that means the Ascendant's Taurus. The North Indian style chart actually travels the planets movements are counterclockwise and this is actually the way the planets move in the circular charts used in Western astrology. And you could actually use a circular chart that they use in Western astrology. It doesn't matter. You're just looking at a chart to be able to read what sign, where the planets are, the angles, it doesn't matter what.
What sort of like chart style you use, it all means the same thing.
The planets travel counterclockwise as in the North Indian style chart. But the South Indian style chart, it travels clockwise. Okay, the planets travel clockwise, so it's opposite. So going back to the North Indian style chart, what is fixed in it are the houses. The houses do not move, but the signs move. So as you see the numbers change. This is relative to representing what sign is on each house. So no matter whose chart you're looking at in the North Indian style chart, the houses are always the same.
The South Indian style chart we have all of the 12 boxes. And what changes in these charts are where the houses are. So the signs are fixed. So no matter whose chart you're looking at, over in the right top top corner will always be Gemini. So remember that it's going to have what we call the mutable signs are going to be on the corners of each chart. So it's Gemini. And what you're going to find is Virgo is in the right bottom corner. And then you're going to find that Sagittarius is on the left bottom corner. And at the top left corner is going to be Pisces. Never changes. But depending on what your Ascendant sign is, that will be the beginning of the chart. In other words, the first house that will usually have a slash through it. The slash means that's the first house. So if you're looking at a true Indian chart, a clean one, you won't have the signs and you won't have even numbers. You will have just a slash, and you will know that that's the first house. And you will know, because it never changes from any chart, that that house will be the same no matter whose chart you're looking at. So if you have a slash in the right top corner, you'll know that the Ascendant is Gemini, and you'll know that the second house will be Cancer, Leo, Virgo. Following around all of these houses, the signs never change. But depending on where your Ascendant is will determine where that slash goes. Where the first house is, where the Ascendant. Now, we call the Ascendant in Vedic astrology the lagna. So you're going to be looking at the lagna. Now, traditionally, I will give you the Western terminology as well as the Vedic terminology, but the language isn't actually important as the meanings. But I want you to understand both, okay? So you can be bilingual so you can talk both languages. Okay.
Now, I want to talk about the planets, because the planets. Planets are the energy. So what we're talking about is the energy. And the signs that the planets are in will be how this energy is expressed, what flavor it takes on. I like to give the image of the planets being like a ray of light. And you put a stained glass window, the color that that light takes on will be very much like the color the planet takes on. The energy, the feel, the sense of the personality, you might say by what sign it's in. Now, this is pretty much the way Western astrologers like to look at the planets being in the signs because it kind of has a quality and a personality. But the difference between Vedic astrology is certain signs give certain planets more strength. Therefore, they can produce their effects in a stronger way or a weaker way. And it just makes it more powerful to deliver results if you really take into account what signs they're in, not just, you know, talking about what personality they have, but the signs are very important in terms of strengths and weaknesses in Vedic astrology. So the planets being the energy, the signs, the way the energy is expressed and the strength, and the houses will be what area of Your life that this will really occur in. Now I will cover in detail.
The seven planets which are Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter. And Rahu and Ketu. Rahu and Ketu are the north, Rahu is the north node of the Moon and Ketu is the south node of the Moon. And furthermore, what I implement in my chart readings is the three outer planets which are your Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Now these are not generally used in traditional Vedic astrology, but I incorporate them because for many years I did use Western astrology and I happen to know that they work. And I have made some of my most brilliant predictions using them. So I will teach you how I use them. But basically you're gonna focus in on the seven planets that are visible to the naked eye because they are really relative more to our personal lives, whereas the outer planets are more relative to generations and really do have an effect on world predictions. So that's where we're going to go with that. And the lunar nodes, Rahu and Ketu, these are imperative when you get making predictions. And these are considered in the grouping of the nine planets. We know they're not really planets, we'll get to that. But the nine planets of Vedic astrology. In Vedic astrology, planet is called Graha. And Graha means to grasp or take hold of. And you know, many times when we look at how these planets affect us, it's like we have no control, but we really do. I'm a firm believer in free will, but without really trying to work on changing ourselves. The planets play out perfectly and divinely the way they're supposed to. And many times this is well and good. This is who we are, this is what astrology is about. But they do have an effect where they pretty much grasp hold of us, control, you know, how we think, who we are, it determines from our past lifetimes. And, you know, many things we cannot change. For example, who our parents are, our brothers, sisters. These are variables that no matter what can't be changed. And you will see, all of these things will be reflected in a chart.
The planets rule a sign. So therefore what you're going to find is that there are two planets that rule each sign except for the sun and the Moon. The sun and the Moon rule over only one sign. The sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer. So this rulership, you have to memorize, you have to know backwards and forwards in order to do anything with what we're talking about. So memorize these, get this down. And then, and only then can we start Working with astrology. But I want to point out a system and how this works in terms of rulership to help you understand why certain planets rules certain signs. So as I said, if you will look at the natural order of how the planets move in terms of what you know from the seasons and the months, you're going to understand why the planets rule. What signs. So the sun and the Moon. Think about in the summer months, when we have the seasons, the sun and the Moon rule Leo, Cancer. And then on both sides of the sun and the Moon we have Mercury, because the signs that are on both sides before the sun and the Moon, which would move backwards into where we have Gemini and Virgo, these are the signs. And this is the planet that moves the fastest from the Moon to the Sun. So we're going to look at this order of our universe, or not our universe, our solar system, our personal solar system, because that's what we're looking at in our chart. So the rhyme and reason that we have Mercury moving forward from Leo, we have of course, the sign Virgo. And moving backwards on the other side of Cancer is Gemini. They're both ruled by Mercury, the fastest moving planet aside from the Moon. Then on both sides, moving forward from the sign of Virgo, we have Libra, which is ruled by Venus. Then as you roll backwards from the sign of Gemini, we come to the sign of Taurus, which is ruled by Venus again and Venus and these two areas ruled by Venus. You're also going to find that.
We'Re moving into, of course, the spring and the fall. But remember that Venus is the next planet that moves a little faster than Mercury. So what planet do we follow in our solar system that is on the other side of Earth, but is the faster moving planet after Venus? This order is Mars. So we have on each side, going forward from Libra, we go into the sign of Scorpio, which is ruled by Mars. And then if we go backwards, which is the sign that is before Taurus, is Aries ruled by Mars. And I want to point out to you we use the old rulerships, because in western astrology it's believe that Scorpio is ruled by Pluto and Aquarius is ruled by Uranus. And we also have the Jupiter rule. I mean that we have Neptune that rules Pisces, but in reality we're using the old rulerships before these planets were discovered. The system works, it's cleaner. So remember that we're going to use the old rulerships. So of course Mars rules Scorpio, but it also rules Aries. So also, as we continue to move, what's the next planet in our solar system? It's Jupiter. So if you go forward in the zodiac after Scorpio, we have Sagittarius, which is ruled by Jupiter. And if you roll backwards into the sign following Aries backwards, we have Pisces, Pisces, both ruled by Jupiter. Then the last two signs we come together are going to be Capricorn and Aquarius, and they're both ruled by Saturn. So you see, this is just this incredible order that you're going to find. Mathematically, everything fits perfectly and I call that divinely.
Now, I want to talk a little bit about what Rahu and Ketu actually are. They do not rule any planets. So with that, they're called the shadows. They're the shadowy planets. They create shadows because what they are are not actually planets. They're not actually physical things. They are points of reference in the zodiac where actually the sun and the moon come together. And where they come together is if you'll take the apparent path of the sun around the Earth. Remember, it's geocentric. We know we really revolve around the Sun. But looking at from our vantage point, if you take the Sun's path, this is called the ecliptic. It follows this path every, every, every year. So where the moon intersects the ecliptic goes, crosses over that ecliptic point. Going upward is going to be Rahu, but exactly opposite, going downward where it hits that ecliptic is going to be Ketu, which is the south node of the Moon. And these points are exactly, exactly opposite. Diametrically you can draw a line, line. And they're the same degree, the same minute opposing. Now Rahu and Ketu, because these are the points of reference of this intersection, their points are moving backwards in the zodiac. So they are not traveling forward as the planets normally do. They always travel backwards. And they are what cause eclipses. So you're going to find that these points are when the sun and the moon come, come together. Guess what? They block out each other's light and we have eclipses. And these are going to be. You're going to find one of the most important tools that we use for prediction because Rahu and Ketu are really our destiny. Rahu is about what brings us into this world and Ketu is what takes us out of this world.
So one thing I do want you to understand, there are references to the planets in terms of them being good or bad. We call them malefic or benefic. So this is just, you know, there's. There's of course, gray areas in this, but generally as a whole, we have the natural malefic planets. And the natural malefic planets are Saturn, Mars, Rahu, Ketu. But don't forget the sun is a malefic and Vedic astrology. Now the benefics are Venus and Jupiter and Mercury. And many times this is a variating point. The moon is considered beneficial in my mind. It's generally a benefic because the moon is such a sensitive point. But Vedic astrologers really look at the moon in terms of how bright it is. And this goes relative to the phases of the moon. And that means how it's located from the sun. So if the moon is together with the sun, this is considered a dark moon. Why? Because that means you were born under a new moon. The sun and moon are in the same sign. So it's dark. It never rises in the night sky. But as you'll notice.
As it moves.
The moon and the sun, as they move relative in the lunar phases, when it comes two weeks later to the opposition, this will be the bright moon because we can see it in the night sky. And the brighter the moon, the more it is considered a benefic in a chart. So it's considered sometimes by some a malefic based on how dark it is, the dark moon. Okay, so these are called natural benefics and malefics.
Also, there's something else I want you to pretty much memorize, but I'll help you get an understanding of this through understanding the signs are the elements and the qualities. Because if you understand this, this makes it so much easier and it all makes sense. Because when you understand fire, Earth, air and water, you are going to understand how powerful a planet can be in a fire sign, how materialistic it can be in an Earth sign, and how talkative it can be in an air sign and how emotional it could be in a water sign. So speaking of the elements, there are fire, Earth, air and water. There's four elements, but there's only three signs that are a part of this element. So we have. We have the fire signs, which are going to be Aries and Leo and Sagittarius. And we have the earth signs, which are going to be Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. Then we have the air signs, which there's three air signs which are Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. And last but not least, we have the water signs, which are Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. Then we come, combine the qualities which are cardinal, fixed, immutable. So there is only one cardinal fire sign, which is Aries. And there's only one fixed sign that is Earth, which is Taurus. So you see, there's this combination. And what it means are the fire signs are going to be inspirational. Because when we think of fire, I think of spirit. And this is what the fire signs are all about. The spirit, the drive and expression, expressing themselves. And it deals with this certain Dharma that we possess. But when you talk about the earth signs, this is relative to materialistic things. And this is about our material gains and wealth. And we all need these things. Things, Every aspect of life is contained within these elements and qualities, as well as the water signs, which deal with our emotions and our feelings and that type of expression. So then we can also relate in Vedic astrology relates these elements to the four aims of life, which are relative to the fire signs are going to be the Dharma most expressive signs, as well as the Artha will be the earth signs, which deals with our material needs and gains in career. And then when we look at the air signs, this is relative to the Kamma signs, which is our need to express. And it actually relates to desire. But we have to express and communicate and be a part of about other people. This is a part of life. And the last is moksha, which represents our spiritual liberation, which actually comes through our emotional body. This is a very important point that I will make in future reference. So when we talk about the signs being very active and the ones that really create change are going to be cardinal, as well as the.
