The Full Moon in Ardra Brings Truth & Turmoil | Weekly Astrology Jan 1–7

Foreign. Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about the first week of January. Happy New Year, everyone. We made it to January 2026. So what I'm going to be looking at is January 1st through the 7th. And what I do is I go over each day in terms of where the moon is and where all the other planets are in relationship to the moon. The moon represents the public, the people. So it really does represent how we're feeling from day to day. Now, I know I'm talking about all the planets in the sky where they're aspecting. I'm looking at my computer right now, so I'm looking from day to day. But what I want you to know is I'm looking from Central Time in Dallas, Texas. And if you want to know how this is going to be affecting you personally, you're going to want my galactic Planner because it takes your birth chart and applies everything that I'm talking about in terms of how it's going to affect you more personally every day. Now with this, I'm going to be talking about all these planets and I want you to put down below in the comments where you are watching from, because I like to understand where everybody is around the world. So with that, let me go ahead and start talking about January 1st. It's a Thursday or right after New Year's Eve and the first day of the year. So looking at this, we have got the moon in Taurus and it is in the Nakshatra called Mrigashira. But for the most part, it's going to be in Rohini for most of the day. Let me move this forward. Now. Most of the day it's going to actually be. Yeah, half of the day it's going to be in Rohini. And then around noon time, this is Central Daylight Time. No, Central Standard Time. Excuse me. And this is in Dallas. The moon goes from Rohini into Morigashira. So what does that mean? It means today everyone feels like they're searching for something. They got to find something. They're looking for things. That's what it's really about. But this moon being here puts this stellium of planets that is so important. This whole month, all the planets are really transiting together. So Today on the 1st, we have Mercury, Venus, sun and Mars all together in the sign of Sagittari, Sagittarius. So this is a day that starts out the whole year with great intensity. And another thing that's going on where Rahu and Ketu are. The sun will be trining Rahu. Well, actually it's going to be trining Ketu. So there's something about letting go, a sense of loss. Even though it's a day that we look at great new beginnings, there's something about leadership and rulers and people around the world that people feel a loss and definitely an anger because Mars is within 1 degree of the sun. And the Sun, Mars conjunction always deals with attacks or anger. People are not settled right now. People are upset from where the Moon is. These planets actually go to the eighth house. So there's all sorts of things that are not settled. There's some deep, dark things brewing. I got to tell you. That's what this looks like for this particular day. And with Ketu's aspect to the sun, it rules leaders and leadership that there seems to be a loss now also today. And by the way, today is Thursday. Mercury is squaring Neptune and Mercury dealing with how we talk to one another, our communications. There's things that we can't see. There's hidden agendas, there's. We can't see what's coming at us. It's like we've been lied to so long we don't know the truth. And things are really upsetting because we cannot see the reality or the truth. We can't see things. Things are hidden. And you get a sense of that today. You feel like, where are we and why are we feeling this way? Now, Jupiter does sit in the second house from the Moon. So a lot of people are concerned about the economy today. But there are good things that are unfolding in terms of where we're going economically, believe it or not, starting on day one of the year of 2026. All right, let's go to January 2nd. This is a Friday. And this day, the moon goes into Gemini. While it's in Gemini, it is. It's going to be forming. Getting close to the full Moon. Not quite. But remember when the Moon, when it's growing in light, this really does mean wealth, abundance, expansion. It's a time to move forward with things. When the moon is waxing, growing right before the full moon. But the moon is in the Nakshatra, Ardra, and it will be in Ardra as well tomorrow, which is the full Moon. So we have a full Moon in Ardra, but the Moon being in Ardra on the second, this represents a sadness. There's something not right. And the Moon is opposed to Mercury today. Exactly. And Mercury Moon aspects mean we Overthink things. We can't stop thinking. The mind is on overload. And with the Moon in Gemini, we're thinking too much, we're talking too much, there's too much going on. But that's because I think there's a concern about worldly affairs. The sun is almost exactly on Mars and Venus. And let me say this, they are combust the sun and this wipes out the energy of Mars and Venus. This is a day of difficulty, uncertainty, things are brewing under the surface we don't know about and it doesn't feel right. So Venus today is actually the planet that is being aspected by K2. And this can deal in the area of love and relationships. You pretty much may feel or you don't feel a connection in partnership and love, but you might be reminded of somebody in the past or somebody can show up in your life from the past. Ketu is the past and Venus is love. You might just get old feelings or memories of an old love affair. Be aware of that. That's pretty much just active today. So with all these planets lining up in opposition to the moon, it is a day that you need to think about how your relationships are going. But I think that things need to be worked on. There seems to be some issues now. Let's go to Saturday, January 3rd. The moon is aligning with Jupiter today. But earlier in the day we have the full moon. So the full moon actually happened early, early morning. But this full moon being in Ardra represents this deep sadness about something that's permeating all over the world. It's like people feel something and they're uncertain about their future. Now all these planets are lining up still in Sagittarius. What is Sagittarius? Sagittarius is the sign of the truth and justice and it deals specifically with our beliefs. In dealing with religious beliefs. People are afraid to express their ideas about their beliefs spiritually or religiously. Otherwise there's going to be problems. When are we ever going to get out of that? But it's here, the full moon. But the moon will be crossing over Jupiter later in the day. That will bring a sense of relief. So later in the day there will be a sense of relief and the moon will start to oppose. Well after it opposes Mars, but it moves on. Well, it's opposed Venus, Sun, Mars with, with this full moon. So one thing I do like it. By the second half of the day the moon will leave Ardra and go into the Nakshatra Purnavasu, which is the Nakshatra called the return of the light. So before the full Moon and at the time of the full Moon, early in the day there's stress, there's problems, but in the second part of the day there's a sense of relief. So now I'm looking at Sunday, January 4th. The moon will be in Cancer today and it will be opposing Pluto, which is very intense. Pluto is the most intense energy of all and it definitely deals with transformation and change. But with the Moon in cancer, cancer deals with the sense of security. And it really does mean people are wondering and thinking a lot about their security in this world. And that of course, can relate to their financial conditions. And I do think there's going to be some major highs and lows this month with the stock market as well as with the financial situation occurring globally. But this Pluto opposing the Moon, very intense feelings. Sunday, earlier in the day, I'm looking at Central Time around 9, 10 o' clock in the morning. And the Moon will be in Pusha, which is the Nakshatra of a need for protection and nurturing. That's the sense you're going to feel today. Now I'm looking at Monday. This is January 5th and the Moon is still in Cancer all day, but it shift into the Nakshatra called Ascending Slaya. And that Nakshatra pertains to. Well, it can deal with a very sneaky, underhanded feeling like you can't trust people today. That's what you'll be feeling because the area of trust and protection are elevated now from the Moon we do have all the planets, Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, in the sixth house from the Moon. And the sixth house deals with enemies and it can also deal with a sense of attack. So lay low. But the other thing is you might be thinking more about your health and getting healthier today. That's what you should be doing. Otherwise I there could be conditions that cause, you know, like sickness going around, but this is very temporary. So I'm just thinking colds and flus and things like that. But it doesn't last long. But this is a day really you should get your New Year's resolutions up and going to get healthier. So now I'm looking at January 6th, which is a Tuesday. And the Moon shifted into Leo today and it's going to be in the Nakshatra called Maga. Maga deals with our heritage, our family are going back in our genealogy. But as the Moon approaches Ketu, while it's still in Maga all day to day, there can be a lot of Remembrances from people before your family, your genealogy, who came before. And maybe it's just a day that you're looking at old pictures and you remember your grandparents, your heritage, where you came from. It's a day to honor our ancestors. That's what this day is really and truly good for. Now, the Mars sun, Venus, Mercury, go to the fifth house from the moon. And this can deal with creativity. This can be a great day for your creative ideas, even investments. But the thing that does bother me a little bit is that the sun. Oh wow. Yes, the Sun, Mars and Venus are all the same degree, which is at this point 22 degrees of Sagittarius. What happens is they keep moving and they're going to move up till about 25, 26 degrees. All three planets together. What this essentially is is that Mars and Venus are combust the sun, meaning there's sort of a wipeout, but there's also a union of them being so close together that some good can come out of it. But look out, this means things such as the stock market can, can be really, really, what's the word? Volatile. Yes, that's what I was looking for. Major highs and major lows. And also on January 6th we have. Yeah, this is. Venus and the sun are exact. And what's a problem too that Venus and Mars are the same degree too. Now tomorrow, not quite, but the day after tomorrow Mars will be exact. But here's the thing, Venus and Mars are in planetary war. So I gotta say nothing seems right at this time. It's so extreme events that are happening in the world, a bit concerning, let me put it that way. Now I'm looking at January 7th and the moon is with Ketu. Exactly. But they're conjunct. Yes, but they're in the Nakshatra called Purva Ashada. And anytime I talk about Purva or Tara Ashada, I'm going to be talking about relationships and how you come together with your marriage, partnerships or wanting to meet someone. This is a time that you have to really reassess how you relate with your marriage partner and, or your girlfriend, boyfriend. And even if you want to meet someone, I don't think this is the particular best day because this puts Rahu opposite the moon. And that could mean if you fall in love today, look out. It might be a big roller coaster ride and you may not, you may not last. But that's why I'm telling you be cautious when it comes to relationships. And your partner, if you're in a relationship could be very difficult to get along with. So take heed and watch what's going on today in terms of relationships. Now still the sun, Venus, Mars are exactly conjunct. They're at 23 degrees today. And that's a complete extreme event. I think it does deal with maybe highs and lows in the stock market. Things are really changing. Be aware around the area of travels. They can be very, I'm going to say dangerous. Yes, there's danger this really whole first few weeks. And like I when I say that don't be concerned to travel you have to look at your own chart. There are millions of planes that will take off in those few weeks. If there's one, then you want to know what your birth chart chart says that there's one that things could go wrong. Not all of them, all of them will not have problems. Let me put that way, put it that way. But this is representing that there can be a calamity. And so this covers the first week of January.
