In this YouTube video, Vedic astrologer Joni Patry delivers a day‑by‑day lunar forecast for the second week of September (September 8‑14, 2026). She explains how the Moon’s position each day—its zodiac sign, nakshatra, and planetary aspects—shapes emotional tone, decision‑making, and interpersonal dynamics. The forecast covers: - Sept 8: Moon in Cancer, Ashlesha, conjunct Jupiter – optimism with a warning about hidden deceit. - Sept 9: Moon in Leo, Magha, conjunct Ketu – a dark‑moon day for introspection, honoring ancestors, and a Venus‑Rahu trine that sparks intense romantic energy. - Sept 10: New Moon in Leo, Purva Phalguni, still conjunct Ketu and Regulus; Mercury‑Rahu tension, Venus‑friendly; advice to delay new initiatives until the moon gains light. - Sept 11: Moon in Virgo, conjunct Mercury, opposed Neptune and Saturn – over‑thinking, foggy perception, urging decisive action. - Sept 12: Moon in Virgo, Hasta, opposite Saturn; Mercury trines Pluto, Uranus, and opposes Neptune – a day for creative, hands‑on work and a spiritual awakening. - Sept 13: Moon in Libra, conjunct Venus – heightened love, harmony, and Mercury‑Uranus trine fostering new ideas. - Sept 14: Moon in Libra, Swati – persuasive communication, continued romantic benefits. Throughout, Patry emphasizes the Moon as the primary emotional indicator, offers practical timing advice (when to start projects, when to reflect), and promotes her Galactic Planner service and her Vedic Astrology University. The tone is instructional with a blend of enthusiasm and caution, aimed at viewers seeking personal guidance from astrological transits.

Hi, I'm Joni Patry, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about the second week of September, so I'm going to be filling you in with September 8th the 14th. And what I do here is I focus in on where the Moon is because this is really where the emotions of the people are relative to all the other planets. So this is very important as we travel looking at the Moon. And I want you to know for sure, if you want to know how all these planets are affecting you on a personal level, you'll want to get my Galactic Planner. Go to galacticplanner.com And it will figure up all your chart positions and how these transits are affecting you personally. Now, I am here in Dallas, Texas, so I am talking from the Central Time Zone, so adjust your clocks and your charts accordingly. All right, let's get going and talk about September 8th. This is a Tuesday, and on this day, the Moon is fully in Cancer. It's in the nakshatra Ashlesha, but most of all, it is aligned with Jupiter today. This is very auspicious. This is a much better day and a much better week than what we previously just came out of. So Jupiter Moon makes people more optimistic, although I will say this, the nakshatra Ashlesha is a little bit Unpredictable because it is ruled by a snake, so it can deal with some sneaky type things that you're unaware of. Don't be so trusting throughout the day, but enjoy this day because we do have Jupiter in a wonderful place connecting with the Moon. And yeah, and things look easier, easier, even though, yeah, Saturn and Jupiter— Jupiter has bypassed Saturn in terms of that trinal aspect, which has been playing havoc on our society in terms of the economy. I find that that Saturn aspect to Jupiter like that can really make things more difficult economically, and it seems like the prices of things just never change, even though they should. We don't get it. Who's controlling all this? Who knows? All right, so let's go to September 9th. This is a Wednesday. Now the moon has moved into Leo today, and it is lining up with Ketu. And I must say This is the day before the new moon, and therefore it is a very dark moon, and it's separated from Jupiter and is aligned with Ketu. So this is not an easy day. It's a day for deep introspection, I will say, and an honoring of our heritage and our forefathers. Our ancestors because the moon is in the nakshatra Magha, which deals with our ancestors, the people that came before us that made the world, given us the opportunities that we have today. They really worked to provide the world with the opportunities that we have today. So give, give reverence to your ancestors. You will be thinking about them today. Now Ketu with the Moon can be a time of spiritual deep thoughts. Go within. This is not a day to begin anything new. Why? It is the dark moon. It is the day before the full moon. You can't be starting new projects till after you have a new moon. And another thing is Venus is exactly trining Rahu. So this is kind of an interesting day for love and romance. Don't forget Venus is in Libra where it really deals with social events and love and relationships. So this could be a very interesting day for meeting someone, very exciting, because Venus-Rahu is about excitement and love, although sometimes it can be a little too extreme because remember Rahu is extremes, but it could be romantic love. Now I'm looking at September 10th, and this is the new moon. Now this new moon is in Leo, and it happens in the nakshatra called Purva Phalguni, which is actually the most expressive and creative nakshatra Of all, and it's in Leo, but it is still in the same sign with Ketu. So we haven't gotten over the sense of loss and problems with world leaders that have really inundated the month of August and September and October, because it is— we can't deny the fact that Ketu this entire month is conjunct the fixed star Regulus, star of kings and leaders. Something is happening concerning losses around leaders. And another thing is, on this new moon, we also have Mercury is in a difficult relationship with Rahu while Venus is in a good one. Mercury is what— in what we call a quincunx An 8-6 relationship or 6-8 struggles with communications. Just be aware of that. And the new moon is so new that I wouldn't— I still wouldn't start anything new on the new moon. I'd like to give that moon a little light, give it a little traction. It is the, the new beginning that sometimes when I think about it It's like the seed that's planted, but it's still in the darkness of the ground. Let that seed burst out above the earth. So wait a few days before you start new projects when you're looking at the new moon. Now I'm looking at Friday, September 11th, and what a sad day that was many, many years ago. But the Moon today will be a very reflective source because it moves into Virgo, and on this day the Moon is conjunct Mercury. And what I find whenever the Moon and Mercury do come together, it's a time when people overthink things. And I will say Mercury being in Virgo There's so much detail scrutinizing. Please be aware that people are overthinking things. Make a decision and move forward. Don't be going back and changing your mind. This— it won't do any good. You will not make a better decision. Move forward with your thoughts and your ideas. And I'm looking at the, the Moon-Mercury They are opposed Neptune, and Neptune is a planet that deals with not seeing things clearly. And that's exactly what's happening today. People are not seeing clearly. There's a fog, there's confusion, there's illusion, and people are being— I mean, brainwashed all of this time with all the crazy stuff put out there by the media. Please stay clear, listen to your gut knowing, and you will be fine. Don't let the world confuse you. So now I'm looking at Saturday, September 12th, and the Moon is still in Virgo all day. It's moving away from Mercury, so it sits now in the nakshatra called Hasta. Hasta is a very smart, intellectual nakshatra. It's ruled by the hand. I mean, Hasta means hand, and it's actually a good day to be crafty. Use your hands, do something creative during this day, and/or learning new things. The moon in Virgo means information is so valuable and important to us We love to learn when the Moon is in Virgo, don't we? So the Moon today is exactly opposed Saturn, and Saturn makes it tough. Saturn makes it heavy. People are, people are really having a rough time emotionally with Saturn. So another thing I'm seeing here Is Mercury— is— wow, Mercury is trining Pluto and opposed Neptune exactly on September 12th, and it's trine Uranus on the 13th. So really, this day Mercury comes into this position that triggers the 3 outer planets. So what does that mean? And the Moon's really pretty much there too. But what it means for Mercury is we're having an awakening. There's a spiritual awakening. There is a level of consciousness that's opening up. Allow it to happen. This is powerful. The mind is opening. And yes, now the Moon is starting to get some traction and get some light, so you can Start planning your things for the future on this day, especially with the Moon being in Hasta, because Hasta is actually ruled by the Moon. It's fantastic. So now let us go to Sunday, September 13th. And this day, the Moon will shift into Libra. Libra is the sign of peace, love, harmony, And most of all relationships. And the Moon today is aligning with Venus, very beneficial for relationships, for social events, going out on dates, anything that opens your heart to love. And people are coming together to find peace, balance during this day. And also on the 13th, this is the day that Mercury will exactly be trine Uranus. It's a day of new ideas and invention. The mind is open. Mercury's exalted in Virgo, and this trinal aspect is spectacular for new ideas, inventions. But I love this day most of all for love and romance coming together. Now let's go to September 14th. September 14th, the Moon is still in Libra all day. It's bypassed Venus though, but it is in the nakshatra called Swati. Swati is the communicator, but it's also one of the most convincing signs of all. Yes, Swati deals with The businessman, the salesman, somebody that can convince you of anything that you didn't know you could be convinced of. So watch that, although you could use this energy for yourself to convince people. And looking at this, where the Moon is, I mean, it's very beneficial for love and romance. Because it's still in the sign very close to Venus, and Libra is that sign that deals with peace and love and romance. So this covers the second week of September.
