The Real Astrological Reason Luigi Mangione’s Actions Shocked the World — Vedic Astrology

Hi, I'm Joni Patry and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about what's in the news The murder case that's going on with Luigi Mangione. And this has been going on forever. He is accused of murdering Brian Thompson, who was the CEO of UnitedHealthcare. Now, this happened way back In December of 2024, December 4th of 2024. And most of you probably know the scenario, but early one morning while Brian was getting ready to go to a big conference in New York City, Mangione went with a gun And shot him in the back and killed him. And his reasoning for this is that he has been in constant back pain, and of course he can't get help by the insurance company, UnitedHealthcare. So this is— and I don't even know if that's the company, but he has a vengeance out for anyone that works for for these type of companies because they don't give the support to the people who need it. This is his anger and frustration. Does it warrant murder? I'll let you be the judge of that. I think we all kind of have the same opinion. And the other side of the story is Who deserves to be murdered because they work for a company? And most of all, the sad part of it is he left a wife and 2 children. So these are very— it's a very difficult thing to face. So here's what I do as an astrologer, and it's very interesting to me that there's actually people who feel the same way that Maggioni does concerning big, big corporations, business, and that the common people are being left out and not served through these institutions. So there's people that believe that this was the right thing to do. But here's, as an astrologer, what always comes to mind to me. What does his chart look like? I gotta know what makes him the way he is. And, you know, a lot of people just love to look at what makes people angry, violent. Mentally disturbed. I always want to look at a chart to see what it is. It's just so interesting, and what you find out is just how relevant and how astrology truly works. So here we're going to get going looking at Luigi Mangione's chart, and I'm going to show you. Some of the things that are undoubtable looking at his birth chart, no matter what your opinion is in this situation. But before I do, I have really exciting news. And another thing that excites me is we got his birth time. I don't do a lot of people that are in the news, mainly because I don't have their birth time. So really, I can't give a fair assessment of their chart till I have their time of birth. So now let me show you his chart, and you're going to see some really interesting things about him. Okay, so let's get going here. Looking at Luigi's chart, probably the thing that stood out right off the bat is that he has Mars conjunct the Sun in Aries, and even it's aligned with Saturn too, all in Aries. Do you know that Mars is anger? And being an Aries is like quick to temper, you know, anger and martial-like tendencies, really extreme. And they're in the 10th house. So I mean, the 10th house is the house of the public, the public eye. His anger, his frustration, his rage, his Violence. This is Mars and Sun in Aries. I mean, the Sun being exalted is really a fine quality of success. With Mars being next to it, he's driven. But this really is about his anger, and here's why. Why would it, why would it pan out to be about this instead of being about someone with success potential? Well, one thing is Saturn's with it. Saturn causes frustration, and Saturn being in Aries is debilitated. I find that the debilitation of Saturn in Aries tends to have one think a lot about themselves. And not be as like Libra qualities, the opposite sign, of looking after others. So Aries tendencies are to think about themselves. Why? Because it's the initial sign of the zodiac. They're the babies of the zodiac. Babies cry and get what they want. They're not considering the fact that they may inconvenience other people. Okay, but this isn't everything. This is just one feature. Why did this combination turn out to express the negative qualities of anger and rage and violence? I think because the Sun, which is so tight with Mars— now another thing you can see from this, he has anger issues due to his father. The Sun is the father. But the Sun— if you'll look over to the other main feature, and I did a video on this recently about the Moon being by itself with Rahu. Look at that. Moon is in Leo, but it is with Rahu, and people with a Moon-Rahu are Extremist. In some way, their life is extreme. And another thing is it could deal with a mother that is extreme as well. But the Moon, all in and of itself, represents our mind, our emotions, our consciousness. And looking at this Moon, well, it's— there's no other planets anywhere near the Moon. This is what we call An isolated Moon. And that's exactly what people with an isolated Moon feel. They're on their own, they're by themselves, they feel no support from others. It's with Rahu too, and Rahu makes the mind extreme, such as compulsive, obsessive in some way. That's a Moon Rahu. I'm sorry, but this is what Moon Rahu can definitely be about because it intensifies and makes the emotions extreme. So they're in Leo, and Leo of course wants to be in charge. It's the leader. Leo is a fire sign. It's extremely fiery. But here's the real connection to the Sun-Mars-Saturn. And it is that the Moon and Rahu sit in Leo. What is the dispositing planet of Leo? What is this connected to? The Sun. The Sun rules Leo. So the dispositing planet— and I call the dispositing planet of planets— every planet has a dispositor based on what sign it's And that sign, whatever planet rules that sign, is its dispositor. So the Moon-Rahu being in Leo— Leo's ruled by the Sun, the dispositor's the Sun. So this Moon that causes him to feel alienated, isolated, separated, extreme, it disposits to The Sun, which is actually— it's so close to Mars, Mars makes it the anger issue explode. But another thing, it's actually in what we call a Papakattari yoga. What that means is when a planet is sandwiched between 2 natural malefic planets. Saturn and Mars are malefic. The Sun is between them. That's right. This is tough. And you know something else that I've noticed a lot lately is when people have planets at 22 degrees, there's always some huge karmic issue, some huge big event, or something about them that is marked— a marked chart. Trust me, I've seen this repeatedly lately. And The other thing is, you know, the father was really a difficult person. This Luigi did not have an easy upbringing. His parents— his mother was extreme, his father was difficult. Because even when you look at his chart, the 9th house in Vedic astrology we think of as the father. Well, the planet that rules the 9th house is Jupiter because it rules Pisces, and it goes to the 8th House with Ketu. The 8th house is the most difficult house of all. Intense loss, difficulty, extremes through the family and the father. 8th house variables are extraordinarily difficult. And I tell a lot of people, this doesn't always work like this, but many times people with planets in the 8th house— and they agree with me when I'm doing a reading— It deals with some degree of disgrace and humiliation at some point in your life, and he has got Jupiter and Ketu. Now, the yoga I talked about in a previous YouTube about where I use O.J. Simpson's chart as an example, that it's, it's the loneliest Moon, but it really does deal with something called the Kimadruma Moon. He does not actually have the Kimadruma Moon because Jupiter is aspecting the Moon, but he has the isolated Moon. And when it's with Rahu, it's worse. It's worse when the Moon is isolated and it's with Rahu or Ketu. Rahu is going to make it more extreme, over the top. Ketu will make it more introspective. More outwardly expressive than Rahu-Ketu. But regardless, this is what he's got. So that is— I mean, there's a million things in here, but these are the things that stood out to me that explain exactly about who this guy is. The next thing that I always look at in a chart is making the Moon the Ascendant. Because this is going to give you the perspective of how someone feels. So looking at the Moon as the ascendant, that Venus and Mercury go to the 8th house from the Moon, and that's tough. So, you know, this is also great difficulty in the area of relationships. Why? Because from the Moon— I'm just gonna— I'm not gonna go slow now. From the Moon, Jupiter rules the 8th house, and it goes to the 7th house of marriage and relationships. Plus it's with Ketu. This guy is not ever going to have a real relationship. And when I show you about his sentencing day, you'll understand why. You'll understand exactly why. So today, well, he while I'm doing this video, it was actually August 14th, 2026 that they have his sent. They have the day of his sentencing, and let's see, they actually. Actually, it's the day of the trial, and the day that they will actually give the verdict will be— the sentencing, excuse me, is December 18th, 2026. So not till December will they give him his sentence, but right now was his trial, and he just Pledge guilty on federal charges. So he admitted it, he killed him. Here's the thing, this gets him off the death penalty. So now he— the worst-case scenario would be life in prison with no parole. And I'll show you what I think astrologically is the verdict. Okay, so looking at the chart, I want you to understand 2 major principles that are huge, and I drill this into all my students. By the way, I have an astrology school. We're going to be studying this chart, by the way, for those of my students that are watching, because everything is hitting right on target. We analyzed his chart for just a moment, but here is what's happening. The day that he committed the murder, which was December 4th, 2024, Rahu in the sky, transiting Rahu, was exactly on his Venus, 9 degrees of Pisces. And you might think, well, it's in the 9th house, but Rahu is extremes. And don't forget, Rahu is a malefic, and Rahu makes you obsess about things. It's on his Venus. His Venus is in the— Venus and Mercury in the 9th house. This is actually your beliefs, the 9th house. It's said to be the house of spirituality and truth, but it's truly how you believe. And he felt so overly righteous about his actions that he was actually doing something good to take this individual out of the world. Because of the company that he worked for. So you got to kind of see it from their chart. I know you and I may not agree at all, but I mean, murder is wrong. That's— I got to throw my opinion in there. But he felt very over-the-top right about this. He did. So, and you know what else I noticed in the trial that was unbelievable to me? That Brian Thompson's wife and 2 children were there. He never did anything to apologize or express any kind of Regret? None. It was all about his mission and what he did it for, how he was justified. Imagine how that feels to his wife. Okay, let's look at the charts again. So on that day, Rahu was at 9 degrees on his Venus And Venus and Mercury are in the 9th house of his beliefs, but their dispositing planet is Jupiter. See, here's how dispositors work. They really are the heart and the soul of a planet, and wherever the dispositing planet goes of a planet, it gives you the reason why something's happening. because it is the heart and the soul of a planet. And both Mercury and Venus being in Pisces— Pisces is ruled by Jupiter in Vedic astrology. We use the old rulerships. So their ruler dispositor goes to the 8th house with Ketu. So when this transit comes along and hits it, this is what— What happens? He did. He was compelled to do this extreme event, and the 8th house deals with death, and Ketu is loss, great loss with Jupiter. Interestingly enough, his mahadasha in bhukti, his antardasha, were Rahu-Jupiter. For those of you that know what I'm talking about with the dasha system. And Jupiter is in the 8th house, and it is tied up with Rahu and Ketu. Pretty amazing. Here's what happens when you go into these dashas, which is the predictive tool we use in Vedic astrology. They activate those planets, and it activated Jupiter in the 8th house. The 8th house is not only disgrace, humiliation, It is the house of death. It is the house of murder. It is the house of suicide and such. But here we go. We have got the dashas activated, the 8th house Jupiter, plus Rahu sits on Venus exactly, and Venus' dispositing planet is Jupiter in the 8th house of death. With Ketu. And another thing is, on that day, Saturn was in his 8th house sitting at 18 degrees— transiting Saturn, that is— in the sky on that day was 18 degrees of Aquarius. It sat right in his 8th house within Within 4 degrees of his Ketu in the 8th house. Saturn Ketu, losses. But notice his ascendant degree, 19 degrees of Cancer, while Saturn is 18 degrees of Aquarius. This is a quincunx. This is one of the most vile, difficult aspects. It's not used in Vedic astrology per se. But I use it, and it actually is— it's not one of the main aspects, but it's called a Shastaka, which means 6-8 or 8-6 relationship between planets. And it actually delivers the meanings of the 8th house and the 6th house. The 8th house meaning death and endings, and the 6th house dealing with accidents and problems and struggles. So there's another one almost exactly within a degree of his Ascendant degree. So those are the 2 main things that I see. But I want to bring you forward to while he is on trial and he pled guilty right now around August 15th, I believe, is 14th. 14th. It started, I think it was today or yesterday. One way or another, let me tell you where the planets are right now. Neptune sits at 9 degrees of Pisces right now, right on that Venus. The Venus is the planet that's triggering everything about this case in him. It is huge. And what is Neptune? Here's what I want my students to know. Rahu is going to cause extremes, and Neptune will cause for delusional, delusional confusion. It deals with denial, deception, deceit, lying. Cheating. It is the planet of illusions, and that's why I say it is and causes delusional behavior while it sits on his Venus. You know, this guy is very delusional, absolutely. And you know, also, I just noticed something else. Natally in his chart, his Uranus and Neptune are conjunct in his birth chart, but that Uranus is exactly less than a degree opposed his ascendant, which means rash, sudden, unpredictable behavior. This guy is unpredictable. So, but moving on about today, it looks like He— well, maybe he made the right decision, but he is out of his mind, let me tell you right now. He is not rational, or he's consumed with his beliefs that he's right, and he's delusional. It's in his 9th house of his beliefs. And if you look at this from The Moon as the Ascendant, as I always tell all of my students they have to do. It's not just from the Ascendant. Both places give you a different layer of what somebody's going through at the time. From the Moon, these planets go to the 8th house, and Neptune is on Venus, 8th from the Moon. Okay, the fact that he chose Guilty, got him off the murder where he's going to be the death penalty. But I looked forward to the date that the sentencing happens, December 18th. He's going to get the worst-case scenario. Why? Transiting Mars on that day of December 18th will be 13 degrees of Leo. Look at his Rahu in the 2nd house. Mars-Rahu, he's not going to be a happy camper on that day. Mars will be directly on Rahu. They're going to make— he's going to get the worst sentencing possible. I assume the judge doesn't like the fact that he had no remorse. None. This guy's dangerous. So Neptune is still hanging around Venus. It's going to be 7 degrees, and it's retrograde— or it was retrograde. Now it's going to cross over Venus again, and Yeah, he's going to be going to prison for life for sure. And Rahu and Ketu— Ketu is going to be in Cancer in his 1st house, and eventually after he's in, you know, deep dark prison and probably denial Ketu will be on his ascendant, which means you feel like you are totally disconnected from the world. So probably this whole case is going to make him so angry that the world is so unjust and doesn't understand what he did it for. The world is against him. He's the victim. He's the victim. That's how he's going to feel, because that's what Ketu literally can— the effect it can have. Another thing that will be happening during the time of the sentencing is that Saturn will be 13 degrees of Pisces. Notice that I'm talking in the sky, right where it's transiting. And notice that Mars will be 13 degrees Of Leo. In the sky, Saturn and Mars are in a perfect quincunx, a 6-8 relationship, and Mars is right on Rahu, and Saturn is quincunxing Rahu. It's in his 2nd house. He is going to feel like his family, the world, everyone has betrayed him, and he will speak out because the 2nd house is your voice. Mars is there. He's going to be so angry, he's going to probably yell and scream and make a scene. It's true. There is— yeah, this is not good. So see how much you can see in astrology? You can see somebody's motives, you can see someone's personality, you can see someone's life, actually their whole life. And then with the transits of where the planets are moving You can see the unfoldment of their life, and even through their dashas, you see the big picture of where life is headed. I wanted you to see the beauty of astrology and how it predicts, how it gives so much information concerning a person's life. Background, where they've come from, their past, their present, their future, their purpose, what they've come to learn. And all I want to say is this: he came to learn something. I don't think because of his anger he couldn't get the lesson. He He thinks he is totally right and he's very righteous and the world's against him. He's going to go to prison because of this. And if he doesn't wake up, you know what I think? I think he'll have to come back and repeat it all over again because he didn't get the message or the lesson. That is What I feel like a birth chart shows you. It shows you unfinished business and what you're here to learn. You have the opportunity to take— to learn the lesson and never repeat the difficult karmas that we brought with us. This is my belief and why we want to know our charts, because we do have free will. He could have chose differently, but he is going to spend the rest of his life in prison because of his choices. And yes, he's going to be angry and he's going to blame the world until he wakes up. And there's going to be a lot of people that are supporting him, angry and hostile, and they're going to go nuts. Why? Because they feel the same way about Big Pharma, big government, big organizations. They're not working for the people. They have a reason for why they feel the way they do. But never is murder the answer. So this is a A very interesting case. Whenever I can get my hands on someone's chart and they have something I can learn about astrology from their chart, I will get it and I will present it to you because I love teaching astrology.
