In this July 20 monologue, Joni Patry interprets the current Vedic astrological landscape. The Moon remains in Virgo, occupying the Chitra nakshatra, a bright, Mars‑ruled segment associated with overnight sensations and the expression of personal beliefs. Mars, positioned nine houses from the Moon, amplifies this belief‑driven energy. Saturn’s influence brings a heavy sense of responsibility, order, and rule‑following. Jupiter, now in the 11th house from the Moon at 10° Cancer, highlights collaboration with friends, groups, and organizations, while also forming a trine with Neptune (10° Pisces) and an opposition to Uranus (10° Taurus), creating a powerful, dynamic day that will extend over the next few days. Additional planetary placements—Pluto at 10° Capricorn—round out the cosmic picture. Patry emphasizes that this configuration signals a day of heightened power, responsibility, and collective activity.

July 20th, this is a Monday, and the Moon is still in Virgo, but it's in the nakshatra Chitra. Chitra is the bright shining one, and it deals with overnight sensations. This is a powerful nakshatra, it's ruled by Mars, and Mars goes to the 9th house from the Moon. This is a time of expressing your beliefs. So everything with this sense of heaviness, responsibility, and order, and making things work according to the rules is what Saturn's all about today. And once again, while Jupiter is still in the 11th house from the Moon, it's a time to come together with friends, groups, and organizations. Pluto's at 10 degrees Capricorn, Neptune is at 10 degrees of Pisces, Uranus is at 10 degrees of Taurus, and Jupiter is now 10 degrees of Cancer. All those planets are forming aspects and they are very important. Jupiter trines Neptune and opposes Uranus on this day. Extraordinarily powerful day, um, and it will continue in power over the next few days.
