YouTube video transcript of astrologer Joni Patry (April 2, 2025) giving astrological analysis and predictions about the Russia–Ukraine war. Patry examines natal and transiting planetary positions for Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine, Vladimir Putin, and Russia, highlighting eclipse- and Mars-related alignments in April (notably April 2–4, April 12, April 18, April 20–26) and warning of escalating, potentially catastrophic conflict through summer and into autumn. The speaker also promotes her paid services (GalacticPlanner, Patreon, University of Vedic Astrology).

Let's talk about the seriousness of what I'm seeing in these charts. It actually surprised me so I'm going to be putting up these charts.
Let us start first with probably, well, Zelensky. So let's put his chart up here because what we're seeing is the first thing that I can't help but notice is where his Ketu is. His Ketu sits in Pisces at 14 degrees. Why is this so meaningful? 14 degrees was the exact degree of the solar eclipse that happened on the 29th of March. This is giant, something of a transformative and nature and Ketu. Let me remind everyone, Ketu is loss. Ketu represents loss and eclipses are always monumental life changing events. Of course you could say yes, of course he's going through this. He is. Now another thing that is very, very important looking at this chart is the fact that where his natal Mars sits at 6 degrees of cancer is going to be where transiting Mars is going to cross over this and this will be April 18th. So this is all alluding to these April dates. Now let me get even more profoundly deeper looking at where his sun, particularly his son is and his Venus. But his sun sits at 11 degrees of Capricorn.
And Pluto is 9 degrees right now. And as transiting Mars comes up to oppose Pluto in the skies, this will definitely, definitely affect him in a serious, serious way. So looking at that, I know Zelensky is in a very, very bad place. Pluto can represent major endings, death and.
Atomic energy. So let's hope that this is not what it's about. But now let's put up the chart next to his for the country Ukraine.
And Ukraine has Saturn there at 7 degrees of Capricorn. And yes, Pluto's been riding back and forth over the Saturn there ever since this war has occurred. But what's going to happen that is more treacherous is that around April 20th through the 21st, transiting Mars will oppose this Saturn at 7 degrees. But 7 degrees is a crucial degree for this year. Why do I say that? Because Neptune.
And Saturn will align at 7 degrees of Pisces. And on June 20th, transiting Mars will be at 7 degrees of Leo, aspecting the Neptune.
Saturn on June 20th. And this activates.
Ukraine's sun at 7 degrees of Leo. Huge. So April is the turning point and explosive, but so is June and July. I'm seeing, yes, the war, the breakouts are more about Russia and Ukraine than anything else. This is, is giant. And you know, I think China is going to probably be involved because I saw some aspects in the Chinese chart in Xi Jinping, but this is really between Russia and Ukraine. Now another thing I noticed is that.
Saturn and Rahu will be conjunct. And this is also around the same time in April that we are going to have.
Some major events happening. And this happens around the full moon. The full moon which is happening April 12th is a real big deal because.
Well, let's add another chart to this mix. Let's look at Putin, Vladimir Putin looking at his chart.
Mercury sits at 29 degrees of Virgo. This is where the full moon happens. April 12, 29 degrees of Virgo, which means a huge turning point at this time, April 12, around the full Moon. And additionally.
Around that time of the full moon, Mars will be at 3 degrees of cancer. And if you will note, natal Mars sits at 3 degrees of Sagittarius. So transiting Mars will be in a quincunx, one of the worst aspects. I call it a six, eight or an eight, six relationship. And what it actually means is accidents or attacks. And.
It deals with six, eight, eight house energy. Six houses, accidents.
Enemies. And the eighth house is death and endings. So transiting Mars, being there, aspecting the natal Mars in Putin's chart looks very dangerous for him.
Now, I Just think they're both at odds and serious war is occurring.
But now.
I want to put up the chart for Russia because this is what clinches it. This is where we're going to see what's really happening. And that is putting up the chart for Russia. Notice where Mars sits. Mars, the planet of aggression and war, sits at 12 degrees.
No, excuse me, 14 degrees.
Pisces.
Why is this important? Remember I asked you that question in the, in the beginning and that is relative to looking at the chart for Zelensky, Because Zelensky has his Ketu at 14 Pisces, where Russia has Mars at 14 Pisces. And this was the eclipse degree of the solar eclipse that occurred March 29. Eclipses represent massive major change of events.
It activates both of these planets, Mars and Ketu, 14 degrees. So looking at Russia, Mars is the aggressor, Ketu is loss. Russia is going to attack Ukraine like crazy.
But here is another thing.
Notice where the natal moon sits in the chart for Russia.
Because it sits at nine degrees of Capricorn.
Mars and Pluto will oppose each other at 9 degrees of Cancer, where Mars is and Pluto at 9 degrees of Capricorn. Mars is the trigger.
This will be around April.
26Th.
And this is where Pluto will oppose Mars in the heavens at 9 degrees. And Pluto will be exactly conjunct the moon in this chart. The Moon is the most sensitive planet in a chart. Furthermore.
We're transiting. Mars first enters into cancer around April 2nd through the 4th. And it's going to enter in and it will be 0 degrees of Cancer, opposing Saturn.
At 0 degrees of Capricorn.
And what this means is some major, major attack.
Possibly two.
Well, when you look at Russia, it's Saturn in the seventh house. What is the seventh house in mundane astrology? The opponent.
So Mars aspecting Saturn, the opponent attacks. This is Ukraine probably attacking Russia around the early part of April, the 2nd through the 4th. But the retaliation looks worse as Pluto hits the moon.
And Mars opposes it.
So looking at this.
Seriously.
I don't think there's going to be an end to this war because they're going to blow up each other. Seriously. So the moon in the Russian chart.
Rules the ascendant, which is the person or the country.
Pluto conjuncts the moon while Mars aspects it. And Mars will be in the first house.
Aspecting the natal moon. Here they will be attacked. But when I look at the Ukraine, it doesn't look any better.
Because looking at the Ukraine, when Saturn conjuncts Rahu.
They're going to be 2 degrees.
And this is towards the end of April, getting closer to.
Let's see.
It'S going to be closer to the end of the month when we have the new moon. Let me get the chart for the new moon.
The full moon is the activation on the. Well this, let me just say this for dates.
We'Re looking at.
April 2nd through the 4th, major explosive time, especially even for the United States. They're involved then going towards April 12.
Catastrophic event.
Mars will oppose natal Saturn here. And then.
By the 26th we have Pluto opposing Mars. And around that time Saturn will be conjunct Neptune.
And let me look that up in my trusty ephemeris as we speak. So what I'm looking at is when Saturn will conjunct Rahu and that will be when it's 2 degrees. So it will be. Neptune is going to be two degrees.
No, Saturn. Excuse me, Saturn opposes Neptune. I mean conjuncts Neptune in June through August and then again in 2026. What I meant to say is Saturn will conjunct radio Rahu as they come together as Saturn entered into Pisces going forward. And Rahu always travels backwards. And by the time it is 2 degrees, as I said, it will be close to and throughout the time close to the new moon. And this will be between.
April.
17 through.
Around the 23rd. Anyway, Saturn conjunct Neptune is important here because they will be 2 degrees. And if you will note in the Ukraine chart, Jupiter and mercury are 2 degrees of LEO. And this means Saturn sends a trine to them which is like a conjunction. So let me just say April is critical. Ukraine and Russia will be at war and it could involve many countries. Who in the world will win?
No one. And they will be at odds throughout the summer months.
Catastrophic probably by the time we reach the end of August to October will be the time.
That they will stop.
And we will have peace. But until then.
This is a seriously terrible time for both Ukraine and Russia. So with that I think I'll close. I think you've got the point of what's going on. This war is crucial and incredibly destructive, will kill many. This is a very sad, sad predicament on planet Earth. I'm still.
In. It's unbelievable to me that people still kill each other. What kind of humanity do we have? But we're there.
It happens. And.
At this point in time all I can do is warn people. So with that I think I'll close. Remember, if you would like more information on me, go to my website, go to Galactic Center.org thank you.
