Vedic Secrets and the Outer Planets

Sam.

Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about what I'm going to be discussing in my lecture at the Future of Astrology conference which is about to happen here, June 2nd through the 5th in Dallas, Texas. And I decided to talk about something that's near and dear to my heart. And of course that involves all my 40 years experience in astrology. And it is that I have found a way to bridge Western astrology with Vedic astrology in terms of using the Vedic techniques.

Incorporating the three outer planets which are traditionally not used in Vedic astrology. So I'm going to be talking about how I include Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. I see these planets as being the collective unconscious. And because they rule the masses and everyone on planet Earth, they affect us all personally as well. But collectively they have an impact on the world society and that affects our subconscious and therefore our thinking minds. And these planets have really been the core essence of so many magnificent changes on planet Earth. And they really do dictate a lot of the massive trends in society, in the world. I'm going to talk about how they affect you personally in your chart and exactly what they mean.

They have been instrumental in so many of the massive changes that we have experienced here on planet Earth. You'll see how I talk about it, particularly in individuals charts and how they create massive unbelievable events. So this class is going to be very entertaining and very informative because it really does take in all of my studies. And with that I want to explain some of the things I'm going to be talking about. And of course I've written books, all three on the outer planets and their power. And I brought it all together in my most current book, which is Astrologer Secrets, which is actually combining all my 40 years of experience, many of the Vedic techniques, but that special edge that bringing in the outer planets makes such a difference in chart readings and understanding not only the essence of who we are, but our soul essence, a generation, as well as who we are.

In our entire lives and how we relate to the world and everything and everyone else. So starting with Uranus, I call that the Great Awakener. And when you go through a Uranus transit, when, in other words, Uranus is going to be affecting one of your personal planets, which, what are the personal planets? They're actually considered the planets that are visible to the eye. So that's going to be the sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. And when an outer planet may be in your chart tightly Tightly aspecting one of your natal planets. That planet will be a signature of who you are, such as Uranus. Uranus is going to be that you are into the unconventional. You're going to be into future trends. Be very aware, highly intelligent, very inventive, thinking outside the box. And when the transit of Uranus affects one of your natal planets, you're going to have a sudden, unexpected awakening in life. Some may be shocking and not so positive.

But the others are. They're shocking, exciting, and ultimately it will lead to the positive. Because what Uranus's purpose is, is to awaken us, awaken us to something we never thought of. So therefore, it opens our minds to seeing things from a different vantage point. And when this planet affects other planets in the heavens, it causes society and the trends to change. And a new aw does occur. So I talk about some very interesting people that have had great awakenings in their lives. And of course, a lot of this involves historical events that I'll be talking about throughout time and even in the current times of events that have been happening all the way to the 2016 elections, to even what could be happening in the 2024 elections. There's so much that this planet of change will bring about. Sudden, unexpected awakenings. That's what Uranus is going to bring about. And I use some very candid examples to explain this. Now, the next outer planet to talk about is Neptune. And I call Neptune secrets, illusions, but most of all, secret scandals. Neptune deals with some of the most amazing scandals. Let me give you some examples, too. I mean, of course it's going to be relative with Princess Diana dealing with. Also, don't forget Marilyn Monroe, who, she died in 1962, and we're still talking about her. This is the power of some of these magnetic energies of the outer planets. But Neptune, let's just say the accident that Kobe Bryant was involved in with the helicopter, there was fog. Neptune was relative on the money in his chart. Because with Neptune, you can't see things clearly. There's a fog where your vision is clouded, your mind is clouded. That's what Neptune has to deal with. And I'm going to show all sorts of examples of people that had their minds clouded. Kobe Bryant, for one, but even Anne Heck. And come to think of it, there are things that have just been happening and are about to happen throughout this year into 2024, 2025, that Neptune is influencing and influencing people. But most of all, the effects of what's going on in our world today. Neptune is illusions. But don't forget scandals. And boy, have we had our fair share of scandalous behaviors throughout history. Looking at the Kennedys.

The effects of the last 60 years with the Kennedys all the way to Kennedy, that's been in the news lately. We're going to see how Neptune will play out in all of these events. And last but not least, Pluto. Pluto is the planet of control and power, and ultimately what it brings us to is surrender and rebirth. So essentially, the key word for Pluto has always been major transformations. The world is about to transform, especially the United States, because the United States is a little over 244 years.

Give or take a year or so, because this is approximately the time frame that it takes Pluto to go through all 12 signs of the zodiac. Therefore, from 1776, the beginnings of the United States of America, Pluto is returning to that same placement. So the United States is going through a Pluto return, which means things are about to really transform and change and possibly go back to some of the essences and the realities that the United States was founded and built on. You'll see Pluto has a major effect in this. Now, some other Plutonian things that aren't so positive or uplifting is Pluto can actually deal with deep sexuality and does have the effects of dealing with rape. If you think of the whole Greek mythological.

Story of Pluto, Hades taking Persephone down to his region of the world, which is called Hades or hell or whatever it's called. Yes, this is actually symbolic from Hades taking Persephone to his world. And you'll see how Pluto does have its effects with profound effects in terms of sexuality and even rape and murder. Pluto has its deep, dark effects, because what is Pluto? Also death. Pluto is affiliated with the sign Scorpio, which is the eighth sign. And that is the eighth house of death.

But isn't death one of the major transformations we make? So physical death can be ruled by the 8th House and Pluto in Scorpio, but all at the same time.

It represents major change. But specifically, death is just one of those changes. So when Pluto is tightly conjunct one of your natal planets, then you will find that these transformative effects or issues around control will be an issue that you come here to learn. And then again, when Pluto will be transiting some of your planets in your birth chart, you will go through intense psychological changes. Because Pluto does deal essentially with everything the eighth House is, which is psychology, metaphysics, what's beyond this world that is really plutonic energy. And Pluto was discovered around the time that atomic energy came in. And that's what it's all about.

So Pluto is this powerful essence you're going to find, as I use examples in famous people's charts, as well as what's going on in the world, the power of Pluto. Because Pluto does, beyond all else, also represent control, manipulation. What else does the eighth House deal with? Corruption and big money. That's another thing that will be discussed deeply. Now, one more thing. If you have Neptune closely conjoined or aspecting a personal planet in your chart, you will be a visionary, a psychic, a medium. You have intuitive powers, but all at the same time, you got to make sure that you're clear about certain things. Neptune deals with being clear, clarity. And on top of that, Neptune usually is the essence that can deal with scandalous things, because these are things that you can't see. So this relative as Neptune transits over planets in your personal chart, you've got to be aware because there will be something you are not seeing clearly. So we're going to talk about all these charts and look at people that have been through these experiences, validating the power of these three.

Enormously transformative, pertinent planets in the birth chart. So taking together all the essences of spirituality, healing, the specifics of prediction and the accuracy with Vedic astrology lined up with these three outer planets, this is going to be a talk you won't forget and it will help you in so many ways in chart reading, whether you're an astrologer or not.
