Hi, I'm Joni Patry, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about Venus. Venus is such a mystical planet. And it deals with love, marriage, relationships, and so many beautiful things in the world. Venus is the arts, it's creativity. Venus is beauty. Venus is peace. Venus is love. And actually, the heart chakra is said to be ruled by Venus. Very interesting. But Venus is going to be in Libra. From September 2nd through November 5th. But Venus will turn retrograde October 3rd around 14 degrees of Libra. And this is so important because Venus loves to be in Libra. Libra is everything that I just described. Libra is about relationships, it's about peace, it's about beauty, it's about Social graces. It's about music, art, everything that Venus is. Venus rules Libra. It also rules Taurus, and it's exalted in Pisces. But this Libra position is my favorite because I love the social graces. I love the beauty. Remember, Libra's the 7th sign, so it deals with marriage and love. And that's what Venus in Libra should bring out. But what I'm here to talk about is Venus being retrograde. Venus will be retrograde from October 3rd, which it will retrograde at 14 degrees of Libra, till November 13th when it turns direct. And it will turn direct at 28 degrees of Virgo. We don't like it in Virgo, but that's okay. We're going to have it in Libra when it turns retrograde. The reason why I say we don't like it in Virgo is because it's debilitated there. It's weakened in that sign. So November— so then again, November 5th through the 21st is going to be when Venus is in Virgo. So then it will transit forward back into Libra, and it will be in Libra again November 21st through January of 2027. So my point is it spends a little time in Virgo, but for the most part it's going to spend much more time in Libra because that's where it stations to go retrograde, then backtracks into Virgo a little bit, but back into Libra. Libra is the sign of negotiations and compromise, and I believe that is what this Venus in Libra is going to be all about— negotiations and compromise, where people come together to work things out. And I happen to notice that the month of October, Mercury is going to go retrograde as well. in Libra, and that means reviewing, revamping, renegotiating peace. This is what I think the, the Venus in Libra is going to be about. And let me tell you a little bit about Venus's cycle, which is so interesting. In an 8-year period, Venus will go retrograde 5 times. And each time, if you draw a line from one retrograde cycle to the other one where it turns retrograde, you form a 5-pointed star, a pentagram. Very powerful, reflective of the power of Venus. So if you go back to— since it has this precise cycle If you go back eight years, you will find that Venus turned retrograde in October at the same degree, almost the same day in 2018, and that is powerful. So what you can surmise going back to October 2018, what happened in your life then? If anything significant happened then. It's going to happen again because it'll be in the same house, same degree, aspecting the same planets. Venus rules love, and here's another wonderful thing. Venus rules love, beauty, the arts, creativity. And when it goes retrograde, just like when Mercury or any planet goes retrograde, it's a time of reversal. And to look back and reassess things. So it's reassessing things in the area of our love life because Libra is the sign of marriage. It is. It's, it's the 7th sign relative to the 7th house, which is the house of marriage. So looking at this, think about this. If there's anyone That you still have a flame for, if you still have feelings for, they could come back into your life when Venus is retrograde. And once again, let me refresh your, your memory, it's going to be retrograde from October 3rd till November 13th. So old loves can come back, and even if they don't You're going to find for all of us during Venus retrograde, it's a time when we reflect into our past love life, and sometimes it may not be so pleasant, but it is a time for healing relationships, to review, reflect, reassess the love of our life. That's what Venus retrograde is truly about, aside from making peace. And in my studies, I did a little research project going back to the time of when there were peace talks or peace summits, when they had negotiations and came to peace in the world. Now, it doesn't happen all the time because we're not at raging war all the time, but I did find Keep in mind that when Venus goes retrograde, it was 9 months after the retrograde cycle that the peace talks and negotiations occurred and happened, when we came about to peace. And I'm looking at this retrograde process of Venus Being in October and counting 9 months later comes to the month of July of 2027. I know that's a long time for peace to come, but I'm talking about real peace, really some substantial agreements that must be kept. We're going to go through a lot before we get there. It's not going to look pretty, but this is what it's going to take. And this is the cycle to be aware of— Venus's cycle. Now, as Venus comes together with the Sun in its retrograde process, eventually it's going to move from a morning star to an evening star, and we'll get the beauty of Venus again. But in the ancient times, the Mayans really, really focused in on Venus and its cycle, and they felt like when it became a morning star or an evening star was significant to the tides of what was happening in the world. And I pretty much tried to look at that. I didn't find that to be as Poignant as the Mayans did, but you know, it was a different time and a lot more violent back then. So, so I want you to take what my studies have taught me about the Venus retrograde— old loves coming back, looking back 8 years, as well as looking 9 months further from this Venus retrograde, especially since Venus is in the peace-loving sign of relationships and compromise of Libra. This is where we could be heading, but Mars says a little something different. But by the time we get to July, I think we'll be there, and hopefully it's a lot sooner. But I have found in my studies— I thought you'd find this interesting just to see how this cycle Looked before and see if it works out in the same manner. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. So watch the stars, watch the planets. They give us so much information about ourselves in the world.
