Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about the University of Vedic Astrology, which is we are beginning a new semester one this week, January 27th. And it's always a big deal when we start the new semester one because this gives the opportunity for people to begin learning Vedic Astrology from the very beginning. So what is it when I say a new start date, really the university, it's all online and it's all self paced and actually you can start anytime. But it's always nice to start with a whole new group of people. And what I mean by that, what we're going to have on the new start date is the very first live webinar. So we have live webinars every week. And the university is such a great way to learn because you're never alone. You have a community of people that are helping you. You're assigned a live tutor who will answer all your question grade your test.

It's your support. We need support. When we're learning. You definitely feel like there's a community. And that's probably one of the greatest advantages of the University of Vedic Astrology because we are community. Not only do we have the pre recorded videos and tests that you take, but we have the live videos that keep you inspired weekly because you can get so lost in the information. Plus we also have a student forum and we also have a WhatsApp number where everyone, all the students can get together and socialize. We even started a book club which is definitely a very social event. Event. We've been going over a lot of my books that I've just written and we all come together and share ideas. The book club comes to you free of charge. Just being part of the university now another thing is, is once you join uva you will always be a part of it. If you life gets in the way, you don't get to get on and get part of. Maybe you've signed up and things happen. You can always back every time. We start the semesters over again, but meanwhile you can pick up your studies at any time even if you want to. Two years from now you're still always, it doesn't expire, you're always a part of the university. So the university has six semesters and in each semester there are four, there are eight videos and eight tests. So for first five semesters that you'll be doing tests and videos alongside with we have all of the live webinars going on. I might be doing semester two While I'm doing semester four. And if you become a full university.

If you sign up for the whole thing, you get to attend every single webinar. And that means once a week you will be listening to me live, answering your questions and looking at charts and studying. The university is really devised as an ongoing study where you, where you will always be connected. And the one thing that we really want to do for everyone is to set them up as a professional. So to go through all six semesters, it takes about a year if you go with the group, if you come along with semester one, because we have some breaks, but basically we have about one video and one test per week. So that's eight weeks per semester. And we have a few breaks here and there. And the last semester, semester, the sixth semester, you will be working one on one with me. I'm going to be giving you some charts to do and I'm going to have you make some predictions. It's very much a learning process. I'll give you a chart and I'll say this person came into money.

In this period of time and usually I give about a 10 year radius. And you will be able to tell me based on all that you've learned through all of the courses. So there's one that's about money, there's one about health, there's one about career and job opportunities that you're here to predict. There's one about counseling and how you would help someone. What would you do if somebody had a very serious problem? How would you help them? Another one that we do is of course marriage. When did this person get married? So, so before you graduate, you will be able to make these predictions. Then we also have some sessions where you do live readings and learn how to really jump in and read a chart off the cuff. Not without preparation. And after you complete and you graduate, you get a certification and then we promote you to be a teacher, you to be a tutor. And we definitely encourage you to get your own platform of classes that you would like to teach. And it will be on the platform of the university. So we are preparing you to really take this on as a profession, as a life course. But of course some people just want this knowledge and information for the, just to know how to do all of this, whether or not they're going to do it professionally. But this university has really been my life. It's like my life path. And I always tell people it's one of my greatest accomplishments aside from my three sons. But it really is a fun way to Learn to come together with groups and to be active. And remember, this is a community and you will be part of this community.

Forever. It doesn't expire. So we keep growing. And one thing I do want you to know is we are almost full. No, we really are almost a capacity.
