Hi, I'm Joni Petrie and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about Jupiter and how it is just recently entered into the Nakshatra is Poorna Vasu. And what's really amazing is that Jupiter is going to be staying in this Nakshatra for a very, very long time, for about a year. And actually it's going to be from now. It first entered into Purnavasu August 12th and it will continue to be there all the way till August 19th of 2026. This is really unusual, but it's actually because of the cycle of Jupiter going back and forth retrograde that it stays in this particular awesome, amazing Nakshatra. So let me tell you what this all means for the world and this is an incredible positive thing to have it in Poornovasu. Go to universityofvedicastrology.com all right, so now that I've filled you in with all the things I'm offering, let's continue on and talk about how Jupiter is going to fare in this incredible Nakshatra. Poornavasu is the Nakshatra that starts at 20 degrees of Gemini and it continues on to 3 degrees, 20 minutes of cancer. So Jupiter stays in this sector this entire time for a solid year from August of 2025 to August of 2026. And with this Nakshatra, Poornavasu actually means return of the light. And I love the way the nakshatras are. There's 27 nakshatras and their meanings actually come from the start of stars. So I'm going to fill you in with the stars in this portion of the Zodiac and what it really means, return of the light. This Nakshatra follows Ardra. And Ardra is a very difficult Nakshatra. Its symbol is a teardrop.
And it is ruled by the storm God raised Rudra, which means storms and emotions and tears and sadness. But guess what comes after the storms and the rainy day? The light. The beautiful sunny day that shines after a big storm. It's the light at the end of the tunnel. This is Poornobassu. And Poornobassu is, is all about return. Everything about it represents a return. And this Nakshatra is very positive. Very, very positive. It rules abundance, it rules brightness, it rules joy, happiness. And I really think that we're due for a good cycle with this Jupiter. And let me say this, this Nakshatra is ruled by the God that really brings joy and happiness, Aditi. It's the Goddess. And the Goddess Aditi is the vast limitlessness of the sky. And it deals with boundlessness. So it has no limitations. In a sense, it's vast, it's beautiful. Aditi is such a positive goddess about goodness and light. And here is one thing I love to tell people that have this Nakshatra strong in their chart, planets in it, or their ascendant, that it casts no shadows. It really is a Nakshatra that deals with.
No darkness. It deals with the goodness and the light and no ulterior motives. Just being a good, wonderful person. I think this is going to bring this back to Earth. While Jupiter is in this beautiful Nakshatra now this Nakshatra is also ruled by Jupiter. So this even adds to the abundance and prosperity that I believe this is all about within this incredible year. And the stars that are in this grouping are Castor and Pollux, which are the twins. One is immortal, one is mortal. And really what this deals with is learning. It deals with bravery and strength, which that's a symbol of this port portion with the stars and going over here, it deals with prosperity and productivity. So you're going to see all sorts of things like with the economy come. And because it comes after Ardra, it means the light shines again and there's renewal. It's refreshing, it's good. It's the light and there is no shadow side. Now the symbol for Purnavasu is actually the case that carries the arrows for archery, for bow and arrows, it's the case, it's called the quiver. And what this actually symbolizes that this Nakshatra goes out, it's boundless and goes out into the world, but always returns back to its case. And anyone with this Nakshatra in their chart, they love adventure, they love travel, but they love to return home and have a home base. So it is a very family oriented Nakshatra as well. And it does deal with a sense of togetherness and prosperity. But family and this Nakshatra, I just love it because it's Jupiter influence makes Jupiter stronger. Now Jupiter is going to go retrograde and when it does, it's going to station at 0 degrees of cancer. So you see, it's still within this Nakshatra because this Nakshatra flanks from Gemini into the first 3 degrees, 20 minutes of cancer.
So around October 18th, Jupiter will go into the sign of Cancer where it will stand still there till December 5 and then it retrogrades back into Gemini. So we have this little opening of Jupiter in Cancer. And what does that mean? Cancer is Jupiter's exaltation sign. This is fabulous. This makes the world a better place because Jupiter exalted. Jupiter deals with what wisdom, it deals with philanthropy, it deals with philosophy, it deals with spirituality.
And teaching higher laws in teaching. Actually Jupiter in Vedic astrology is called Guru because it is the teacher. Put the planet Guru in its exaltation sign of cancer and you're going to get a sense of.
Spirituality. Returning to the world goodness after all of this darkness that we have been exposed to with so many things, ugliness in the world. Now there's going to be a return of the light. And by the time it goes back, it will stay in Gemini from December 5 on all the way till June 1 of 2026. And then on June 1 of 2026, Jupiter goes into Cancer where it will remain. And it will be from June to August, it will be.
In Poornovasu. But then it's going to change into the next Nakshatra that will take place place.
Once it goes out of Purnavasu, which will be August of 2026. And then it's going to go into the next Nakshatra, which is Pusha. And Pusha is another very spiritual Nakshatra. So we have this trend of awakening with consciousness and, and spirituality in the world and abundance and prosperity.
I'm thinking this Jupiter is going to set the tone for a whole new world of light and returning to the goodness and the spirituality that we once had before. After all of the darkness and storms and difficulties that we had to go through. Through. So this is such a blessing, an opportune time within the next year while we have this incredible Nakshatra of Poornavasu. And it's amazing how long Jupiter stays there for a solid year.
And so this is going to be an awakening, an inspirational spiritual and such a good feel of prosperity and wealth in the world. I can't say enough good things. So I just wanted everyone to know.
That even in your daily life, this will affect you very, very strongly. This will bring back a sense of hope, spirit and family. That's another thing that's been really out of hand the way families have been split. And the more we have family together, a return of this. The more prosperous the world will become, the more the world will be healed. And I think this is going to also promote health, healing in the world as well and most of all, spiritual awareness and teachings. So get ready for, for the return of good times, a wonderful age and new beginnings with Jupiter as it stays in this beautiful Nakshatra called Poornavasu. So with that I think I'll close.
