Joni Patry explains why August 20th is auspicious: the moon moves into Cancer and travels with Venus and Jupiter that day. She calls it her top day in August and will teach in Sedona about reading charts and outer planets. The moon enters Purnavasu Nakshatra, which she describes as the return of light, opportunity, and optimism.

August 20th, this day the moon moves into cancer. So it was really the moon being with Venus and Jupiter the day before. But today, and actually it's going to be really early that the moon moves into cancer. So in the early morning it is still in Gemini, which is best because the moon is conjunct Venus and Jupiter. And the moon is traveling with Venus on this day. And this is the best. So if I had to choose a day to do anything in August, I'd say the 20th. By the way, you know what? I just realized? This is really cool. I'm going to be teaching on this day in Sedona. It's going to be amazing. It's one of the most beautiful places on Earth. And I'm going to be talking about how to read a chart, the outer planets and future events. I just realized that. August 20th, amazing. So, and the moon being in Purnavasu, that's my favorite Nakshatra, by the way. Why? It means return of the light, cast no shadows. It's goodness, it's opportunities, it's optimism. It's beautiful. Love this day.
