You listen to the Mere Christians podcast because you want the Gospel of Jesus Christ to influence everything you do in life and at work. But let's be honest, it can be really hard to know what that looks like practically for your specific vocation if you're trying to sort that out all on your own. That's why I created the Mere Christians Community. This space for you to work next to me, next to other Mere Christians in your field to more deeply apply apply the Gospel to your specific work. The doors to this popular community have been closed for months, but they are open this week only for you to sign up@jordanrayner.com MCC here's what Kaylee says about the Mere Christians community. She says, quote, I've been so blown away by the difference this community has made in my life. If you're looking for a community of people who share your passion for seeing God glorified through their work, I cannot recognize recommend this community highly enough. End quote. That's high praise from Kaylee. Hey, when you sign up, you're going to gain access to everything I think you need to apply the Gospel to your work. Let me quickly tell you just about five of the most popular member benefits in the community. Number one are our vocational small groups that you can join as soon as you join the Mere Christians Community. These vocational small groups are a small group of people, as the name suggests, who share your vocation and your commitment to Jesus. You meet with them twice a month to workshop workplace challenges, to pray for each other and discuss my devotional content. The second feature people love are the Mere Christians Book Club. Every quarter, every three months, I send members of this community a summary, a five to seven page document of one of my all time favorite books along with my favorite highlights, my biggest takeaways, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Right then we all hop on Zoom to discuss the book together. A couple of months ago, Catherine Leary Alsdorf, Tim Keller's co writer on Every Good Endeavor, joined us for a discussion. This quarter my friend John Acuff is joining us to discuss his brand new book, All It Takes is a Goal, which I crushed in about two days. You guys are going to love our three month discussion over that book. Book exclusively in the Mere Christians Community. Here's the third member benefit members really love in this community office hours. This is a monthly Zoom where I hop on and you can ask me anything you want. Got a question about how to implement redeeming your time or a question about one of my other books? This is where you can ask it. Maybe you're curious about entrepreneurship or writing or something you've heard on this podcast. Maybe you want an introduction to somebody in my network. Office hours is the place to ask and I love these calls. I love showing up once a month and taking your questions about anything that's on your heart. Number four the fourth member benefit you get when you join the Mere Christians community is access to exclusive local meetups with me and your fellow Mere Christians. Anytime I travel, especially for speaking engagements, I try to host these in person gatherings. I love doing these. Usually we have, I don't know, half dozen to a dozen, maybe two dozen people show up this quarter. We've already got meetups planned in Nashville and in Austin in October. I'm sure we'll do more and you could join the community now to get those invitations and all the details. Finally, the fifth member benefit I'll tell you about is my daily devotional. If you love my weekly devotional, the Word Before Work. You're going to get it five days a week, Monday through Friday, delivered to you in book form, audiobook form, digital form, however you want it so you could discuss it with me and the other Mere Christians inside and outside of your vocational field. And hey, listen, Those are just five of the member benefits of the community. There's about 12. I didn't even list everything. You get all of that and more for just $35 a month. And of course you can cancel anytime. But again, doors to the community close this Friday, 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time on September 29th. We're shutting the doors to the community. I'm not sure when we're going to open up again. You could join the community or learn more about it right now@jordanrayner.com MCC Again, that's jordanrayner.com MCC I'll leave you with one more testimonial from my friend Derek in the community. Derek says, quote, the Mere Christians community brings such a strong connection between God's Word and my work unlike no other place I have ever seen. It is well worth the cost of admission each month. End quote. I'm biased, but of course I agree. I hope I'll see you inside the Mere Christians community again.
