Yeah, the worst was trying to coordinate the visits from the home healthcare teams that were supposed to support us after he was discharged from the hospital and rehab. Until then, he'd had 24/7 care from a whole team, and suddenly it was just me. And although various personnel were supposed to come in on a regular basis, between COVID and communication snafus and jurisdictional mix-ups, I was on my own a lot more than, than we ever thought I would be. It was terrifying and challenging. The weight of being the one person responsible for him was overwhelming.
