Medical Breakthroughs with Redox Signaling

In this premium episode of the Living to 100 Club podcast, host Dr. Joe Casciani interviews two guests: Danielle Matthews, who recounts her severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) from a car accident and her unexpected, rapid recovery after using ASEA redox signaling products; and Dr. David Silverman, a retired podiatrist and medical advisor for ASEA, who explains the science, production, and marketing of the redox signaling supplement (drinkable ASEA) and its topical gel (Renu 28). The conversation covers the physiological basis of redox signaling—how reduced‑oxidant molecules purportedly restore cellular communication, boost glutathione, and reactivate age‑related genes—along with claims of safety (water‑like toxicity, FDA‑registered facility) and a “10‑minute gel test” that allegedly demonstrates immediate pain relief in 9 out of 10 participants. Danielle shares multiple anecdotal case studies (her own recovery, a husband’s joint improvement, a stroke survivor’s speech return, a tick‑borne illness detox) and discusses the product’s word‑of‑mouth, network‑marketing distribution in 34 countries. Dr. Silverman critiques conventional Western medicine’s symptom‑focused approach, argues that ASEA is a disruptive, non‑pharmaceutical breakthrough that was rejected by a major pharma firm, and emphasizes the lack of side effects, money‑back guarantee, and the need for broader adoption. The episode ends with contact information for Danielle, a call to join the “Getting Younger Club,” and a brief plug for the host’s own resources.

We hope you're receiving, receiving value from every conversation with our experts, presumably much greater value than the price of a subscription. We have 2 guests on our program today, Danielle Matthews and Dr. David Silverman. Danielle recounts her recovery following a traumatic brain injury sustained in an auto accident 10 years ago. The injury left her with word-finding difficulty, migraines, and other symptoms. Her treatment consisted of a redox signaling solution that helps to restore communication of cells and replenish the supply of cells that gets damaged or exhausted with age. With Dr. Silverman, we discuss the science of reduction oxidation and how this FDA-registered product is being used in 34 countries with tens of thousands of people. How does this solution help the body's natural ability to find and strengthen damaged cells? We'll learn much more about this in a minute. First, some background on our two guests. After experiencing a life-changing recovery from a brain injury following an auto accident, Danielle Matthews has been at the forefront of educating people around the globe for the last 7 years about the solution we're discussing today. She had a full recovery, which she had been told was impossible by her doctors. She's joined today by Dr. David Silverman, who is a medical advisor at this company. Dr. David Silverman is a retired podiatrist. He owned his own practice and surgery center in Maryland. When he discovered alternative medicine, something in him shifted. He eventually sold his practice and went into being a full-time entrepreneur working with alternative modalities. A friend shared the breakthrough of redox signaling with him 12 years ago, something he initially looked at for his father. After he saw undeniable results, he explored the people behind the technology and decided to align with them. He sits on the medical board of the company now as, as ASEA, and has been educating people on this topic globally for over a decade. Welcome to our program, Danielle and David.
Hey, thanks for having us.
Thanks, Joe. Nice to be here.
Great, great. Glad to have you. I'm looking forward to our conversation. Danielle, let me start with you. Can you share us the effects of the auto accident that you were in?
Sure.
Um, so I was in a car. I got hit head-on and my brain evidently hit my skull. And so I didn't have a bleed on my brain. There wasn't anything you could see on scans, but it was very clear that something was off. I ultimately was told it was called a mild traumatic brain injury, which I think is an oxymoron, but the myelin sheath had been torn. And so my processing speed was really slow. I couldn't think. It was like trying to process through, like thinking through mud. I couldn't get the words out I wanted to. I couldn't stay focused on an activity for more than 10 minutes without getting completely overwhelmed and needing to take a nap because I couldn't take in information. And it wasn't just thinking. I also couldn't process light. I couldn't process noise. Everything came at me at the same level. And so, you know, natural light, it felt like somebody was shining a flashlight in my eye. And we had put blackout fabric in my bedroom. And, you know, as you stated, I was dealing with really severe migraines. That was probably the worst part of all of it was that my head felt like it was going to explode. And I was dizzy and just wanted to sleep. And at the age of 23, you know, I tried to push through it and get back to life. I've been an athlete my whole life, so you kind of push through and get back to things. But it was very clear very quickly that I couldn't push through this and ultimately lost my job because I couldn't perform and had to move back in with my parents because I couldn't earn an income. So my world, it stopped pretty quickly after my accident.
So you were going through some treatment or were you receiving any medical care at the time?
It's a good question. You know, Western medicine, my doctors had kind of said to me, you know, Danielle, with brain injury, we try to get people to the state that you're at now because people with moderate and severe injuries, they want to get them to the point where I was like, you know, semi-functional. And I said to them, well, this is unacceptable. Like I can't perform in the way I used to. I can't do anything. I can't, I can't have a job. And they basically said, sit tight. Like this usually clears up in a month. Then they said 3, then they said 6. And at my 1-year appointment, my neurologist said it was my new normal, that my body had done the healing it would do. Now, I have been blessed with a mom who is into alternative medicine. Her father was a Westernly trained doctor, and I think maybe in reaction to him, she started to explore other options. And so my whole life, you know, I've always had that. And my mom has a, a beautiful network and community of people that try other things. And so we tapped into that network and I was trying things like hyperbaric oxygen treatment, neurobiofeedback. We did craniosacral work, acupuncture, you know, we changed my diet. I was taking handfuls of supplements. I mean, like 16 pills in the morning and night, you know, trying to get vitamin B and, you know, D and all the things that my body needed to help it repair. But the truth is, after a year of trying all of these different modalities and things, I was maybe if I had been a 10 out of 10, I was at an 8 out of 10. Like it had helped kind of, but I still couldn't function.
So how did you learn about the redox product?
Well, a chain of events. And, you know, David, Dr. Silverman, he was part of that chain. But I'll, I'll say it from, you know, where, where we got a phone call from an acupuncturist that knew my mom. And that acupuncturist said she started using this redox signaling in her practice. To just supplement, to help her clients between sessions and to help them help their bodies to restore. The way she described it, she said these molecules go in and they just allow the system to communicate like you did when you were young. So your body can find damage, it can turn things on that have been turned off, it can activate the things that should be activated, and the communication network can just be strong. And she said every single one of her clients was having a different result because Some, you know, their damage and issue within their digestive area. So they were seeing results there. Some it was, you know, with their skin, some it was their hormones. And she was convinced that it would pass the blood-brain barrier and it could help me. And I was convinced of the opposite, actually. So my background's in bi— biology is what I got my degree in. And when this came home, my mom like intuitively trusted her friend. I went to Google, I was like, this stuff's a scam. This is expensive salt water. This lady is involved in something she doesn't even realize. You know, I just, I couldn't hear it. But my mom started using it. And honestly, Joe, my mom, like within 6 weeks, she had bone on bone in her hands. Like my mom's range of motion was so limited. She couldn't even like grab a knife to chop vegetables. And within 6 weeks, her range of motion was back. And I could visibly see, you know, that her, her knuckles didn't look as like tender and uncomfortable. And she said the discomfort, you know, had decreased. And so You know, I was kind of going, ah, it's maybe placebo. And then my dad started using it because he thought, well, if it helped her joints, maybe it'll help my joints. And my dad had been an athlete. He ended his career in football from an injury to his knee. And so for 30 years, he's kind of had this issue with his knee, but he works out every day and he started drinking it. And 10 days in, he wasn't having to wear his brace when he was working out. And he was like, I'm doing more in my workouts. I'm like, not sore after my workouts. I'm preparing faster. And he was like, what is the research on this stuff? This is amazing for athletes, if nothing else. And that's when they dove in more to the research and came back to me and said, look, this stuff cannot hurt you, Danielle, and it might help you. It's not going to contraindicate with anything you're doing. Why don't you just give it 6 months and let's see? And so that was really my introduction to this. I was stubborn. And, you know, eventually, just to get to the point of what happened, 3 months using it, I was drinking 8 ounces a day. The pounding in my head finally stopped. It had been relentless for 2 years and it stopped. I started to be able to get the words out I wanted to again. It was like there was clarity again. I could see crisp. I could get the, you know, processing was coming back and I had energy. And I remember my cognitive therapist saying she'd worked with people with my injury for 30 years and had never seen such a rapid recovery so far out from the initial trauma. You know, she was like, Danielle, with your injury, it just, it simply doesn't happen. And she's the one that said, what the hell is that stuff you started drinking?
Sure.
And yeah.
So you went from really a kind of a healthy skepticism to, well, let me give it a try. What's the harm? There's no, no big risk here. So that's when you, about 2 years after your, your accident.
2 years after my accident. Yeah. And then using this about 3 months. And it was funny cuz as I was taking it, I mean it was a healthy skepticism. Maybe it was like an intense skepticism, honestly. Like, that's kind to say it was healthy, but I am, as I was drinking it, I was saying to my parents, like, you're wasting your money. Like, I don't know why you're buying this stuff. I don't know why we're doing this. I mean, I just, I think I'd given up hope a little bit that there was gonna be something that could help me. And I was just sort of trying to emotionally be okay with living with a physical disability. And yeah, I couldn't even be cautiously optimistic. But as things started to shift, it was like, holy cow. And I'll never forget this is where David, Dr. Silverman, comes in. My cognitive therapist wanted to learn what this stuff was, and I couldn't tell her. I said, I thought it was saltwater. I said, I have no clue. And she said, well, clearly it's not. Like, we need to learn what it is. And my mom arranged it for my cognitive therapist and myself to get on with Dr. Silverman, who at the time was on the medical board. He still is with the company. And he explained things. And after that phone call, I was lit up with the potential because I thought, well, if everything he said is true, The potential for this to help every human being, every animal, every living thing, plants. I mean, we all talk with redox and I thought, this is massive. And I started to dive more into the research. I started to dive, like I got on PubMed. I mean, like the scientist in me really came out. And so, you know, David can explain it much simply.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It sounds amazing. Really. It sounds amazing. So David, why don't you explain for the audience here how this works? What's the process that occurs in our cells? What, what's taking place?
Well, you know, it's interesting when people call this a product, it, it really, it's like saying, I mean, this is a breakthrough is what this is. This is something totally different than medicines. It's different than, than herbs. It's different than everything. And it's called ASEA. It's not called panacea, but it's as close to a panacea as I've ever seen in my life. It's like calling penicillin a product. No one would've called penicillin a product. Penicillin is a breakthrough, right?, right? Now this is a non-medical breakthrough. It's not deemed a medication. They could have gone that route and gone down the route of classifying it as a medication and they chose not to for some very, very important reasons because pharmaceutical industry does a lot of good in this world. And I mean, thank God they're there, but they're, they're not in business just to make, just to make people better. They need people ill so they can make money. I mean, there's no doubt about it, right? So, this is kind of disruptive to that because the name of your group is Living to 100 Club. I, we'd say, hey, would you like to live younger, longer? Everybody wants to live younger, longer. And I think it could, you could name your group Thriving to the 100 Club. I'm 62. I feel like I'm 26 years old because of this product. Now, is it the reason I take no medications?
I don't know.
Is it the reason that I don't take ibuprofen when I golf? Like I used to take ibuprofen when I golf when I was in my 30s. I don't, ever taken. I golf every day now instead of once a week. I don't know. I know what this product does in the body because I've seen the double-blind studies and I've seen it change bodies. I know what it does. So, and I got introduced, you said healthy skepticism. Everybody's skeptical about this. Fortunately, there's a way to prove it. Anybody that wants to know that it's real will know that it's real in 10 minutes. And we can talk about that. It's so quick. It's so quick that anybody that says, I don't believe it, 10 minutes later, 9 outta 10 people say, I believe it. How did it do that? I don't understand. What did it just do? But I got introduced cuz my dad was ill, like you said. And so I took this very seriously. My dad had a serious issue that no one wants to hear they have in any part of their body, anywhere in their body. And it scares the hell outta people. And then they go into panic mode and, well, here's the chance of survival and do this and that. So I looked at it very, very seriously. And I have to say, my dad went through traditional treatment for his problem as well. When he got on this. And so it wasn't my dad that made me realize that this product actually works. It was other things happened with my dad, his joints. He, he wasn't really hurting anymore and, and his energy was amazing. But then I referred people to my friend over and over again and they kept coming back to me saying thank you with all kinds of issues, blood sugar issues, breathing issues, sleeping issues, libido issues. So like you said in the, in the intro, I, I decided to go meet the people running the company. I wanted to see who refused to sell it to the pharmaceutical company who wanted to buy it and the patents to see if I wanted to align myself with them and bring this to the world. That was, so I decided, it took me about a year to decide to get involved with, with that side of it to bring it to the world. That's why I'm going to Asia, like I said, next week for, for a month to be speaking in Asia all over the world. So here's what it is. It's called Redox Signaling Molecules. It comes in two forms, in a drinkable version called a SEA. Which is in a blue bottle that you supplement with and you drink between generally 4 to 8 ounces a day. But there's no limit. You can drink as much as you want. There's no, there's no toxicity to it. It doesn't interfere with medications, so you don't have to stop medicines. No toxicity. And you can't be allergic to it because it's in us. Our cells make this. What's in the bottle, our cells make redox signaling molecules. Everybody who's listening to this is making it right now, but they're making more, less of it than they did last year. They're making a lot less of it than they did 10 years ago, and they're making a lot less of it than they did as a child. Because at puberty, where our cells produce these redox molecules, we start producing less. At puberty, we start declining. At puberty, after puberty. And people say that's not true because a 20-year-old is just stronger and faster than a 10-year-old. That's true. But who heals faster from a broken bone? Who heals faster from a tonsillectomy? Kids heal fast. Kids have a lot of this. So mitochondria is pumping out a lot of redox signaling molecules. And we also see more diseases as we get older. People start breaking down, they, they have more inflammation, they have hormone problems, and, and all these things happen as we get older. And it corresponds to us producing less and less of these redox signaling molecules, again, produced in the mitochondria. So I said there are two forms. There's a drink version of it, ASEA redox supplement, and then there's a gel version of it called Renu 28. Same thing, just in a gel form. And what it does, as Danielle mentioned, was it enhances signaling. Signaling is very important in the body. The body has to know when there's a problem. If the body's not made aware that you have a mutating cell, then that mutating cell is just gonna remain, it's gonna multiply and become something terrible. If the body's not aware that you have cells dying in your pancreas, then those dead, those size, those cells will die or not function properly. And all of a sudden, You have enough of them bad cells in your pancreas, you're gonna be thirsty, you're gonna be urinating all the time. You go to the doctor, they draw your blood and say, oh, Dr. Silverman, your blood sugar is 640, you have diabetes, here's the prescription, you need metformin. You know? But the problem is the cells, the cells in my pancreas aren't good anymore because they're not being replaced with good ones. Well, how do they get replaced with good ones? Well, the immune system has to get a signal and a call for help that I have bad cells. 'Cause we're made up of 70 to 100 trillion cells. Our pancreas, our retina, our lung, our uterus, everything, bones. If our cells are healthy, we don't have disease. That's the premise of, of Eastern medicine, not Western medicine. Western medicine is your cells aren't working in your pancreas, take the metformin. You know, you're not, you're not producing enough serotonin here, take the Prozac. And that's Western medicine's approach. And I was board certified in foot surgery. I was part of that. I— that's— that was the only thing I knew. And thank God it's there because we— a lot of people need it. We need Western medicine for crisis care and things. But most people don't fall off of a ladder. You know, most people don't get hit by a car. You did, Danielle. Most people don't sleep well. They take pills. Most people have aching joints. They take pills. They, they have breathing problems. They take inhalers. They do this, they do that. That's Western medicine's approach. What redox molecules do in the body and why children are so much healthier and bounce back so much faster and have so much more energy is they amplify signaling. They make it so that there are repair systems in our body can hear clearly when there is a problem. Double-blind studies show it increases glutathione levels. Double-blind studies show that it turns our genes back on that turn off as we age.. But the bottom line is this, it's as safe as water. I mean, you can put it in your eye if you want to. It's— I, I know some of your people are listening, some are watching. I have it in a nebulizer here, putting it in my eye. I mean, that's how safe it is. I'm breathing it in. You can do whatever you want with it. We can't make medical claims that it does anything cuz it's not a medication. Sure. But it can't hurt anybody and it actually comes with a money-back guarantee. So when people want to live younger, longer, this is the whole premise of what this is with no risk to the body at all. Like medicines all have risk. There is no risk.
Yeah. Thanks. That's a great explanation. Let me ask you though, on a cellular level, you know, looking at, you know, signs of dementia and some of the cellular changes that the mitochondria dysfunction and, I mean, the synapses are not working so well. Is this affecting the, acetylcholine and the other chemicals that are affecting the chemical connections?
Well, every chemical in the body is being produced by a cell, right? Whether it's a gland cell, what— every— everything is being produced by, by cells somehow. And the body takes the things that we eat and, and, and the oxygen and, and makes the things that we need to function. If those cells that are producing those chemicals aren't functioning properly, then you're gonna have a problem. That's why this is so non-specific, Joe. It's, it's not, you know, if someone has arthritis and they take ibuprofen, it's not gonna help them sleep better. It's not gonna help their blood sugar. It's not gonna help their libido. It's not gonna help their skin. It's just for, it's for inflammation is what it's for, right? Someone takes Prozac, it's not gonna help their joints feel better. It's gonna help their depression. This is very non-specific that we can't say it's going to help any of these things because it's not a medicine, it's a supplement. And the reason it is, As I said, the founders of the company turned down a huge offer from a pharmaceutical company to buy it, the patents and the intellectual property. Founders of the company said, well, okay, what happens to the people that are on the product? They wanted them to shut down. They said, mm-hmm, those people that are on the product will find something else. We're buying this. And, you know, and that's when they said, no, we're gonna bring this to the world a different way. Word of mouth. So people share it with people. But what people do is when they start on this product is They just baseline everything in their health, their mood, their sleep, their libido, their skin. They take pictures of their skin, their energy level, their blood sugar. If they have blood sugar problems, their, their skin, their ringing in their ear, everything. And they keep taking their medicines and they say, well, let's just add this. 'Cause those problems generally don't get better as you get older. They just get worse.
Oh, right, right.
So they get a baseline. And then they just start taking the product and they just watch what happens. They just document themselves. We all prove it to ourselves. And fortunately, there's a way to prove it very, very, very quickly. And I mentioned this to you.
Yeah.
And that's with the gel. Can I tell 'em about that?
Yeah. Let me ask you first though, on the, the baseline, is this all self-report or do, do we look at labs and blood?
No, both. I mean, if someone has serial labs, they just, if they have PSA, they got blood sugar, they got glucose, they got markers, whatever. And they've been seeing, they have those because they go to their doctor for issues. They, they have those records and then they get on the product.
Sure.
And generally you want within 3 to 6 months is sometimes it's pretty dramatic, but they just, the next time they go, they just compare. And very often most people have already seen it themselves subjectively. They've written everything down. They already know, you know, that things are better. And I don't know if you're familiar with live cell microscopy where you look at live cells and it's pretty cool. Maybe Danielle will share that, but they can compare their lab values and the doctors sometimes say, what the heck are you doing? You know, it's like, oh, it's an act of God. Doctors just don't believe this until they investigate it properly. And I'll, I'll repeat that cuz people listen to their doctors and if you put your health in the hands of your doctor solely, you have to understand that your doctor is not trained on nutrition. Your doctor's not trained on acupuncture. Doctor's not trained on meditation. Doctor's not trained on redox signaling. They can only offer the solutions that they know. And so doctors often, what makes a believer out of doctors is if they're good doctors and they see lab changes, they investigate properly and really properly. And they understand that this is marketed in a different way for a very specific reason than being brought to them by drug reps. But their experience themselves on them, their wife has a nerve problem. So they investigate and say, I'll try it. Wow, this is amazing. Fortunately, as I mentioned, we can get to it. There's a very fast way, 10 minutes, that anybody who wants to prove that it's real or try to disprove that it's real will know that it's real in 10 minutes if they choose to investigate it using the gel version of it, which is the same as the drink, just a topical version.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
As you were talking about the Western approach, And it reminded me of that saying, when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
That's right.
Right. So that's right.
That's exactly right.
This really broadens the whole treatment panorama. I mean, the whole perspective, we can really expand our treatment protocols. So tell me about the test. What is the, what is the 10-minute test?
So I'm smiling because I've been doing this for the, the gel version came out in 2014. The company started in 2009, but they couldn't figure a way to get it into a topical because it's very unstable what's in the bottle. It can turn if it comes in contact with organic material, carbon-based or metal, it just turns back into saltwater. And the reason it's made from saltwater is 'cause that's what our cells make it from. 4 atoms, sodium, chloride, hydrogen, and oxygen, but is no longer in the form of H2O and NaCl. It's, it's, it's reductants and oxidants. Redox, that's what redox stands for, reductant and oxidant. But they found a way to put it in a gel in 2014. That's when it— they, they released it anyway. I think we were in like 5 countries then. We're now in 34 countries around the world. But the gel is marketed for wrinkles. Anybody who wants to look younger, they take pictures of their skin and they start using the gel. And the company has a whole skincare line and that's part of it, but they can just use the gel and watch what happens. They take pictures of wrinkles, spots, cellulite, and they just take serial photographs. Generally, generally within a month, most people are like, wow, this stuff really does work. But there's something about it that's not in the literature and it's not in the marketing materials that a lot of people have the problem I'm gonna mention. Not talking about wrinkles. A lot of people have it and they live with it. And some have a mild case of it and some have agonizing case of it. And that's things that hurt, whether it's their joints or their muscle or a cramp, whatever. A lot of people have things that hurt and it gets worse as we get older. And people say, well, it's just, you know, joints break down, inflammation. All of this. And, um, whatever the cause is, the beautiful thing about the gel is this: the drink people should commit to go 90 days, 4 to 8 ounces a day. That's what they should drink, and they just track their progress, right? If they're not seeing results after a week on the 4 ounces a day— and, and I know when people reach out, they're very specific instructions how to take this that's not, not on the bottle. The bottle just says just take it, but they're— and Danielle will help people to call in on, on how to take it properly. When they call your— when people that are listening are curious, she'll direct them. But the gel, you find a few people that have something that hurts them. Say you find 10 people and you say, give me 10 minutes just to see. This person, their knee hurts. This person, their shoulder hurts. This person, their back hurts. This person, their hip hurts. This person, they can't close their hands because the— because it's just problems with the joints. And you get a baseline just like you do with the drink where you track your progress. But this is a 10-minute baseline because 10 minutes later you're going to ask them how they feel. And they shake up the gel and they apply it 3 times in 5 minutes. So they baseline the level of discomfort on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being horrible, 1 being a little bit. And you're gonna ask 'em 10 minutes later and they put the gel on 3 times in 5 minutes. So they shake it up. And I, for the people that are watching this, you can see it's, it's clear. There's no smell, there's no greasiness. Joe, you see I'm just wiping it on my face. 'Cause it's marketed for, for anti-aging and rejuvenate skin cells. People wanna look younger, they use it. But they apply it to the area that hurts 3 times in 5 minutes. And it's interesting what happens at 10 minutes. If you had 10 people in a room and you did that, 'cause we have people doing it at parties sometimes. So you ever see the movie Cocoon?
Uh-huh. Sure.
When they're in the pool house and they're jumping up and down and they're going nuts, it's like, my God, they're youthful again. It's the coolest thing to watch people's faces because when you put it on 3 times in 5 minutes and you ask those 10 people how do they feel,. It won't be a couple people that say, how did it do that? It won't be 5 people that say, how did it do that? That have a big smile on their face. Watch what happens to 9 outta 10 people. 9 outta 10 people are saying, how did it do that? It's made from salt and water. There's no toxicity. There's no restrictions. How did it do that? How did it do that? And that's when they start digging into it more deeply. And doctors too. And doctors see that they're like, they're scratching their head like, Now you got their attention. You know, every patient comes in and says, I had patients come in and say, you know, I rubbed onions on my wart and it went away. I'm like, okay, well maybe it did, but I wouldn't take my time to really investigate it. I'm not gonna have patients rubbing onions on their feet. Maybe it worked 'cause God knows there's all kinds of things that work. But once you have a result and you see it so, so, it's so reproducible. You know, the skepticism goes away more. The curiosity is like, how in the world is it doing that? And, and so anybody that gets it, knowing that that's— that gets the product, don't just let it sit and don't just take pictures of your skin. Do that because your wrinkles— try this on a few people and you'll be blown away.
Yeah, yeah, that's the quick way to see the effects, see the, the solution from the product, as opposed to the solution that you drink is Maybe up to 6 weeks or, or longer before you see the effect. Yeah.
So we give people proper expectations and, and Danielle will walk people through it. But if they follow her instructions, when they baseline everything in their health, I mean every little thing, by day 7, about 15% of people are stunned. By day 30, about 60% of people are stunned. And by day 90, 90% of people are stunned. So you want to give it 90 days. And if someone's not seeing things happen, in the first, you know, 30 days when the money-back guarantee is. If they put the gel on people where they're hurting, they know it's real. They're saying, I'm stinking, I'm going for 90 days, I'm doing exactly what they say. And there's a specific way to take it that to get those numbers. Danielle will walk them through.
Sure. So Danielle, let me ask you, you, you've seen this product work for yourself and for your parents, and I'm sure you see it work with other customers and friends. And can you share a couple of stories that really impressed you in terms of the, the benefit people received?
Absolutely. And I think that's, that's what's so amazing is every time I talk to somebody, like, I never know what it's gonna bring them, but I know it's gonna go where their body deems most necessary. And so it's really fun to watch what unfolds. I think one story that I'll just, I'll never forget, there was a gentleman and I had just moved to Florida and I'd met a massage therapist and she was You know, like the best of them, very skeptical. People bring me the best next best thing every day, Danielle. Why is this any different? You know, she kind of ignored me, but her husband had suffered two traumas to his head and also had a clot that went to his brain. So he was having a lot of issues with his speech. He couldn't form full sentences again. He was mumbling. He had no energy. And this gentleman had a PhD. I mean, he was incredibly intellectual and just He was a shell of himself. And she said, I'm at my wit's end. She came back to me, I'm at my wit's end. You told me this helped you, like, do you think it can help him? And I said, I can't promise, but I can tell you, you know, 8 ounces a day, you know, for 90 days. Let's see where we are and let's see what we can stimulate in his body. And she said, well, he's gonna take it. I have to take it or else he's not gonna also take it. So both of them started and it was incredible. After 90 days, His name was Rod. Rod was— his speech was completely back. I mean, he was able to articulate, he was able to speak again. I mean, she said to me, I got my husband back. He had the energy to go to the gym. He was starting to work out. And that community I was living in is one of those communities where, like, everybody knows everybody. And so the talk amongst everyone was, what in the world is that stuff? Because I had been sharing in this community for over 9 months.. And people were like, this woman's nuts. Like, she's talking about salt water. Like, what's wrong with her? But I was— I knew what I knew, right? Like, I know that I know that this stuff is amazing. I just— people need to be ready. And when that happened, Denise was the wife. She, she said, Danielle, this is something I want to bring to my clients. We started doing, you know, something in her wellness center once a week to educate, and we used the gel to share it. And she started on her massages. She would put the gel on the base of the neck and the shoulders because everybody that comes in always has tension there. And so she would rub the gel there and then she'd start her massage work on the feet. And by the time she got up, she would say, how are your shoulders? How's your neck? And they'd all go, what did you— you didn't even touch it yet. Like, why does it hurt anymore? So that was really— that to me was one of the most profound things because I mean, it had hurt when she had said to me no, and she kind of blew me off. I mean, she made me feel like a little insignificant, like you know, but I was so sure that I stayed the course and eventually, you know, I got to witness that in their family and it was amazing. One of the other stories that comes to mind was a, a friend of mine's mom had been bitten by a tick and she was dealing with issues that honestly, when she started talking, I thought it sounded like she had a brain injury. I mean, the, the similarities between our issues were, were there. And I said to her, she's one of the first people I ever shared with. I said, look, this stuff helped me. I don't know what it can do for you, but I know it can't hurt. And she started to use it. And what was interesting with her was, I guess, with that, there's these spirochetes in their bodies that started to flush out. So she started to go through what's called, like, a detox. And I didn't know what was going on. So I read more about the redox signaling. Well, it upregulates glutathione. Glutathione is a master antioxidant in the body, and it helps you detoxify. It helps your body deal with inflammation, and it's very hard to supplement. I had tried to supplement with glutathione. After my car accident, they had to do it intravenously. And so when I learned that, I went, oh my God. And like, I'm watching it work, right? I'm watching this woman go through this. And we kind of lost touch because I had moved. And like a year later, I just messaged her and I said, you know, well, how are you doing? And I didn't even know she had been dealing with this issue because I had kind of nonchalantly said, oh, when are you going to visit my friend? She was living in Hong Kong. She was living abroad. And she said, Danielle, I can't travel. Like, I have no energy. Like, there's no way I could do a flight like that. I just— I can't go visit her. So a year later I messaged her and just said, I was thinking of you. How are you doing? She said, Danielle, I kid you not, I'm literally packing my bags. I'm going to Hong Kong and you better believe I've got my blue bottle in that bag because that's the reason I'm going.
Wow.
Well, yeah.
Amazing. So I'm sure you hear this all the time. This is a question for both of you. It's, it sounds like a miracle product, right? So why haven't we heard about this before? Why isn't it Hypothesize more. Wow.
I'll let David give his thoughts on this, but I'll tell you this, you know, we're very trained to go to Google things. I think we're very used to that in society these days. And you gotta be careful because you don't know where information is coming from. So when I heard about this from the acupuncturist, I went to Google and I ran into some website, sciencebasedmedicine.com, and it said, this is a scam. It's saltwater. Whatever. And so I listened to that, you know, and I thought, oh, these people sound legitimate, you know. And it wasn't until— and it was actually David that said this to me— he said, Danielle, did you ever look at the people that run that site and who those doctors are? And I said no. And he said, do you realize that they all have ties to the pharmaceutical industry? Did you look at acupuncture on that site? Did you look up chiropractic on that site? He said they bash everything that's not a pill. And I went, oh my God, like the amount of information that is thrown at us. And I, I also, I've worked in marketing and I know there are sponsored things that look like educational material that are sponsored.
Sure.
So that they're driving you in a certain direction. It is very hard to decipher information in this day and age. And so for me, you know, I, I don't wanna get too far into like the pharmaceutical and this and that, but I do believe that there are people out there that don't want this to be in the hands of the masses because it affects their bottom line. And I think the other side of things is this is being brought to the world through word of mouth network marketing. And there's a lot of people that have a very bad taste in their mouth about that industry. You know, I was kind of under a rock. I didn't really know much about it, but I like the general feeling is it's a sleazy thing, it's a scammy thing. And I think a lot of people just don't know what they don't know. Like, I thought that, and my mom challenged me on it. She said, why do you feel that way? And I had nothing, no basis, my opinion. And she said, Danielle, you don't know what you don't know. Go look at these people. Their integrity is through the roof. They want to help humanity, you know, and that's what they're doing. So I think that's part of it. I don't know, David, if you've got thoughts on that.
Well, yeah, I agree with everything you said. You know, I love where people say They go from this, okay? And, and often it's the gel that does it. They say, if it was this good, we would know about it. Smugly. If it was this good, we would know about it. Then they put the gel on a few people that were hurting, knowing that it's as safe as water and it comes with a money-back guarantee. So you, you're not, you can't fool anybody. If it doesn't work, you get your money back. It's like nobody's trying to fool anybody. And it goes from, if it was this good, why don't we know about it? To why don't we know about this? Why doesn't anybody know about this? The whole demeanor changes. And what Danielle said is true. This is a disruptive innovation. And the founders of the company could have walked away and sold it to the pharmaceutical company. It was an international pharmaceutical company out of New Jersey.
Mm-hmm.
And they said, like I said, we'll buy it.
You did it.
No one thought they could. No one ever, they've been trying to do this. This is, this is thought to be impossible to have negative and positive ions in the same bottle. And not turn it. They're so unstable. They want to— it's like putting hot and cold water in the same bottle and have it stay hot and cold. This stays negative and positive. And they knew that the pharmaceutical company was going to bury it. And, and then when we're out of the drug age, which we're moving our way out of the drug age— I mean, the pharmaceutical industry bastardized CBD forever. They, they scared people about chiropractic. They scare people about acupuncture. When I started practicing foot surgery in '88, no doctors referred to acupuncturists in '88 on the East Coast of the US anyway, maybe on the West Coast. Now insurance pays for it. You know, magnets, magnets is another thing that works. And I thought, well, you know, I, I saw magnets work for pain and I said, well, it's placebo. Then I put it on a limping dog in 1997. This is what made me leap out of the box and say, I'm thinking for myself. I'm not listening to these, these professors, just these professors. And drug reps who are telling me and the FDA what works and what doesn't. Because when I saw a limping dog stop limping that had been limping for 6 months and I put a very specific kind of magnet on, stop limping in a few minutes, I'm like, my God, if that's real, what else is out there? And so I think we all come to this point, you too, Joe, where you get to the point, it's like, wow, maybe the world isn't the way we think that it is. I think we're waking up, we're seeing what's going on in the political world. I think people are starting to realize we're, we're kind of pawns in the whole game and corporations want us buying their stuff, right? And it's our life. I mean, you know, like I say, do you want to live younger, longer? If people have problems, they weigh the risks with medications or surgery. There is no risk here. You don't sleep that well, you don't have good energy, you got hot flashes, you get headaches, you got wrinkles. There's a money-back guarantee on this stuff. Research the safety. That's what I did for my dad and he had a grave issue. You know, as I mentioned, you know, and, and I, I— there is no risk. And so close-minded cynics won't take the plunge. The plunge is order the product and see what it does. But common sense people say, I got nothing to lose, my joints hurt, I, I— these medicines tearing a hole in my stomach, I'm taking— I'm getting side effects from the medicines, now I got other problems, let me just see what happens with this. And that's what I love about it. And you know, there, the, the the, we're still in the pioneer stage of this thing. I mean, the company's 13 years old. They've done over a billion in sales, which isn't very much to have a product that does this. But it, that we're getting closer to the tipping point and we need help. We need people. When someone sees that it works, we need them to share it with people and make their friends aware of it. And we have an educational system in place for that with Zooms and different things. So I think that's why it's just, it just sounds too good to be true, but it is true.
Yeah, yeah. Well, thanks, thanks for that. So yeah, you mentioned it, of course it's not a medical product, so it doesn't need FDA approval, but you said it's FDA registered. Is that— it's produced in an FDA—
yeah, it's produced at an FDA registered production facility in Pleasant Grove, Utah. So the FDA goes in, they inspect it, they audit it, and then it's shipped to 26 global distribution centers around the world. But it's, uh, it is not a medicine. Right. It's interesting. I know a lot of your listeners probably take medicines. Every medicine, if you, there's a certain amount that will kill you. Every medicine has something called an LD50, right? Lethal dose 50. And when a, when a drug company goes to the FDA and says, we want to put this drug through trials, we've already done animal trials, it's time for humans. The FDA says, okay, whoever the drug company is, Pfizer or Merck or whatever, what's the LD50? And that stands for lethal dose 50. And what they're saying is that what dosage does your proposed drug, what dosage did it, did it kill 50% of the rats?
Mm-hmm.
If there's a dosage that kills 50% of the rats, there's a dosage that'll kill 100% of the rats.
Mm-hmm.
So they get a drug that works for cholesterol or, or whatever. And, and, you know, it's very effective at the, at the level that kills 50% of the rats. You can't kill 50% of humans with a drug. So they dilute it, they dilute it, dilute it, dilute it, dilute it. Dilute it and they get to a point where it's still lowering cholesterol, but it's only having side effects that you see on television every time you see that an ad for a drug can cause this, can cause this, can cause this. And it, and it will kill a certain amount of people cuz your liver can't metabolize it fast enough when you take too much. If you overdose, this turns back into saline. It's not a medicine, it's a different category.
Mm-hmm.
It's like you can't, you know, it's safer than food. I mean, literally, you could give peanuts to 100 people, and the 101st person, you could kill 'em with a peanut if they're allergic to it. This is in every body. It's in puppies. It's more in puppies than older dogs. It's more in kittens than older cats. It's a massive breakthrough. And if people really, really take the time to look into redox signaling, they'll realize that this is a massive wave coming that's gonna change the way we look at our, at health.
Wow. Wow. So, uh, no long-term adverse effects is what you're saying. You're not going to have any, any—
yeah, they add the adverse— the, the long-term effect is living younger, longer.
Yeah. Okay.
Pretty much not adverse.
Yeah.
That's the only thing that can happen is, as that's, it's perceived as a negative, is detox. So when your body starts to cleanse itself because of the glutathione increase, Glutathione's your body's master antioxidant. Anybody that knows what glutathione is, they're like, it raises glutathione. I'm getting it just for that reason. Forget everything else. Forget the wrinkles. Forget everything. They're like, they know what glutathione is, but glutathione helps the body detoxify. So when, when you get a deep tissue massage, you know, they, they give you a glass of water afterwards cuz they want you to flush the toxins out. Well, this is gonna, this is like much more detox than that. So if it, if, if you don't drink a lot of water during the day, You could get a headache, you could get a rash, you could get diarrhea. It's not the product causing the problem, it's the cleansing. It's all these toxins that are just sitting in the cells coming out at one time. You just wanna flush them out. And that's the only negative thing that can happen.
Mm-hmm. Yeah, I had a guest on just a few weeks ago who was an expert in glutathione, a pharmacist from USC here in California. And you know, he spoke about, you know, what a powerful effect it has on our inflammation and how it's so prominent in our body. And yet it can kind of lose its effectiveness when the level drops, right?
Well, what happens is actually is that there's two forms of it, activated and non-activated. And it's active and non-active. The reduced form is reduced by a reductant. And it's a charge. So the reduced form is active, it's doing what it's supposed to do. And then the inactive form is non-reduced. So as we get older, we have a higher percentage of non-active versus active, and the reductant in here activates what's sitting there. So here's an analogy, Joe, that I like, and it, it goes to the glutathione, it goes to everything. We're all functioning at a certain level. As we get older, our function goes down a little bit, whether it's athletic performance, recovery,, you know, sleep, energy, whatever. And we think, well, that's our normal, you know, for the amount of exercise I do in my diet, here's where I am today. Well, we have a lot more potential than that, untapped potential. And the analogy I'll give is everybody knows, can relate to this. You go into a room at night and the room is lit and the, but it's kind of dim, right? That you look at the bulb and you're like, God, the room, it's not very bright. It's not a good bulb. But I got, that's, that's what the bulb does. And okay, that's what I gotta live with. Then you notice on the wall, the switch is a dimmer switch and it's only 50% up. And then you push it up and the room brightens. The bulb always had the potential to be bright and, and do what it's, what it's reach its potential. But if it's not being given what it needs, it can't do that, right? And what it needed was more juice. You flip the switch up. That's what this does. It just helps us reach our potential. And the word potential is, is an important word because that's what this whole product is based on, is, is on redox potential. It's an actual physical physics word term, redox potential. And it just so happens that it helps us reach our potential. And at 62, I feel like I'm 26 years old. And my friends that have listened to me over the years, They're like, my God, David, thank you, thank you. And a lot of my friends are like, that's silly, that's silly. Well, you know, they're all taking their meds, they're having joint replacements, they're doing all these things. I'm playing golf every single day, a lot of times twice a day. And eventually they're watching me. And even the cynics, the laggards and the cynics are starting to come to me. And it's sad because sometimes their mothers or fathers are sick or dying. And I call and say, would you like to learn about this? No, thank you, we're doing okay. And then the person dies. And I'm like, I don't cry over it. I'm just— I've gotten to the point, it's like, hey, I'm the messenger. I'm just bringing— I'm bringing the message. You either investigate it properly, and it's simple to prove it to yourself, or you don't. But I used to get really upset, and I felt like I should do more. But I, you know, you get to the point you realize you can only do what you can do.
Yeah, I'm happy to be a messenger for this. You know, I love being a vehicle for getting important messages out. So Thank you both for being on this program. So, um, let me ask you first though, redox is contraction for reduction oxidation?
Yes, exactly. So, you know, I learned in school— here's a, here's a great book for people that are interested. It's called Redox Matters. You can get it at redoxmatters.com. It's not— look, here's a textbook on it. I mean, they're teaching it in medical schools now. Nobody wants to read this. This is difficult. I mean, you might want to read it, you're a doctor, but this is more readable and still not the simplest book, but it's readable, very readable. And there's some interviews at that site, redoxmatters.com. If you look at the videos, for any doctors that want the deep science, if they go there and, and make a note to watch the Dr. Dick Walker videos, he's an emergency room physician on the medical board with me. And he go, he has a health professional series for doctors. Honestly, most people don't care. They're like, you know, like with my dad, I'm a doctor, but my dad, was sick. I was like, okay, is it— how can it hurt him? And could it possibly help him? Mechanism of action, I didn't honestly— forgive me, I didn't give a damn. I didn't care. I was like, is it— tell me the risks. There are no risks at all. Zero risk. And I said, Dad, let's get on this. You'll do the traditional treatment too. Get on this. So yeah, but that's what it stands for, reductant and oxidant.
Wow. Okay, so how can people contact you, Danielle, if they want to buy the product or just want more information?
Yeah, I would say in your show notes there will be a link. Yes. Guys, just click that link and it's going to be a page where there's a Contact Me. Click the Contact Me, put in your name, your phone number, your email. We ask that you reach out because we want to make sure, one, your questions are answered, two, you get set up with the amount of product you need for your situation. And to help you navigate the ordering options, 'cause there's different options for ordering. So when you do that, I'll get notified and be able to help you learn more, help you get started. And if you're interested, you can also follow me on Instagram. It's just my name, Danielle Matthews. I've got an underscore at the beginning and the end. And I've got information in the link in my bio where you can learn a little bit more about this. And of course, you can DM me there if you want. But we're really just passionate, as you've probably sensed, about educating. You don't know what you don't know. And once you start to learn this, It's like, wow, like, what else is there? And what does this mean for me? And I say, guys, if you're listening and it's resonating, there's a reason, you know. This is something that you were meant to hear, either for yourself or maybe a loved one or someone that you run into tomorrow. But I truly believe this will be in everybody's household. I do. I don't know if it's going to take 10 years, 15, 5. I have no idea. But people had seen what I've seen over the years, they would understand, you know, why I have that vision. And I'm going to hold true, just like I did in my community when everyone said I was crazy. I just, I truly believe the world is gonna benefit.
It's all about tenacity and, and perseverance, right? Yeah. Persistence. Yeah. Well, it looks like we're out of time for today, but before we wrap up, I just wanna remind my listeners to visit my website, livingto100.club, sign up for my email list and download a free copy of my 9 Tips to Make Living Longer Enjoyable.
