Hi, I'm Dr. Joe Casciani. Here's a quick tip about seeing the positives all around us. When we're feeling down and blue, sometimes it's because we've shut out the good things that are taking place. It's almost like when horses wear blinkers to keep from being distracted, only our blinkers keep us from seeing the positives. When we remove the blinkers, we start seeing the whole complete picture and our perception changes. Then we start seeing the exceptions to our old dark and negative views. This is how depression can lift and how we start seeing the blue sky above the gray clouds. I hope this helps.
