Transcript of a short YouTube conversation (interview) in which the speaker explains that patients' attitudes strongly influence treatment outcomes—especially for musculoskeletal conditions. The speaker gives examples where a negative, resigned mindset limits recovery even when regenerative therapies (stem cells, ozone, acupuncture) are used, whereas optimistic patients show rapid functional gains.

A lot of it. We were talking before filming. It's what's between the years, Right? Right. If you want it to happen and you're willing to work with it. It's an innate process.
So you've treated a lot of patients. Have you seen people's mentality affect their results?
Absolutely. Okay. For instance, a musculoskeletal condition, like a shoulder issue or a knee issue, and someone's spouse is in my reception area, and maybe the wife will say, now, I want you to see my husband and take care of him and fix that shoulder. And the first thing out of his mouth is, nothing. You can. My shoulder. Because there's nothing. It's. It's. It's. It is what it is. And it's going to be this way. He's already made his mind up. Yeah. So if I were to do anything regenerative, any stem cells, ozone, even if I did acupuncture, I'm not sure we're going to get the right results. We'll get results, but not to the level that maybe I would expect for that patient. Because some people just have to be sick. They just have to have a condition, and that's okay. That's who they are. So it's absolutely their attitude.
So you've seen, on average, people who have a positive attitude, believing that they're going to get helped, they have better results compared to people with negative attitudes.
And they're so excited about it. I have patients who walk in and they start wearing their arms around and walking real quickly. And look at the step I can take. Look at this. I can stand from a seated position. And my other patients, they'll jokingly say, do you pay them to say this.
