This is a YouTube video titled "Fotona Technology #fotona #shorts" discussing the popularity and advanced nature of Fotona technology in aesthetics, particularly in Asia and South America, and the challenges faced with FDA approval in the United States compared to other countries.
The Fotona technology is considered gold standard in places like Asia and South America. Right. So it's very popular and these are very advanced in aesthetics.
Fotona just started in the aesthetic world of lasers four years after the laser was developed. That's almost 60 years ago. So Fotona has a really good trajectory. What is the problem is fda. It is taking so long for people in the United States to get treatments that are CE approved, Europe approved, Singapore, Canada. There are some health departments in other countries that are using this to reduce incontinence. Patients who pee and need surgery, they will have downtime of a month and they rather go into these kind of procedures instead of doing maintenance and treatment that can be in the office. Why can we not approve that?
