I'm done. I'm not doing this. Everything. The leads suck. You suck. Like, it's everybody. It's not me. So I think everybody has this moment of clarity in their life, or salespeople do. It's like this aha moment where you're like, okay, I'm either going to go big or I'm going to go home. So I have this moment where I drive 45 minutes to this house. Guy opens the door and the guy's uninsurable. Like, he's clearly uninsurable. Because the type of insurance we sell is you have to qualify. So I'm like, all right, maybe the wife. The wife, worse. She's like 10 times more uninsurable. So I walk away with no check and no ego at this point. I'm like, it's done. I get in the car and I call my mentor and I'm like, I'm done. I'm not doing this. The leads suck. You suck. Like, it's everybody. It's not me. It's not— it's definitely not me. It's everybody else. And we walk through the sale from start to finish and she's like, Mara, did you do all the pre-qualifying questions? I said, "I didn't." She said, "Mara, you know we have a product for people that are uninsurable." And I hung up the phone and I had this moment where I remember like looking in the rearview mirror and I'm like, it's not everybody else, it's me. And that was just kind of when everything changed. The first half of the year I made nothing and then the second half I made $92,000.
