Dr. Joy Kong created a training course on stem cell fundamentals for physicians through the American Academy of Integrated Cell Therapy. It covers what stem cells are, therapy types, clinical evidence, administration methods, dosing, and foundational protocols, drawing from her literature review and clinical experience.

Hi, I'm Dr. Joy Kong, and welcome to the Fundamentals of Stem Cell Practice training course. I founded American Academy of Integrated Cell Therapy because I saw that there's a need for doctors to get fully educated on what stem cells are, what they can do, and how to administer it. So this course really encapsulates my journey of how I arrived at where I am at today by gathering all the knowledge there is. Since there's no textbook, this is such a new field, so we have to figure it out on our own. So I spent lots and lots of hours and collecting a lot of scientific articles and really getting down to the nitty gritty and really understanding what I'm and how this is gonna impact patients. So what I see is that in the field, there is a lacking in this kind of knowledge. So a lot of doctors are very excited about stem cell therapy, but then the knowledge base is not quite adequate for them to really perform this therapy more effectively. So I wanted to bring out everything that I have learned so. So that everyone that wants to provide stem cell therapy can have a very solid knowledge base, knowing exactly what stem cell signs are, knowing what the different kinds of therapies are, and knowing what kind of clinical evidence that's been published, that's been around the world, and also knowing about different ways of administering it and how much to give and what are the other factors that may affect it. So the course is not so much a techniques course about how exactly you give stem cells. It's about the fundamental background knowledge that every practitioner needs to know when they go into stem cell therapy. So I will talk about protocol just a little bit, but really this the fundamentals that I think every practitioner needs to know in. In order to be an effective physician providing stem cell therapy. So this is much needed, and I'm excited that you have decided to take the course, and I think you will learn a lot and you will find it quite interesting and exciting.
