Transcript excerpt of a YouTube video where two speakers describe the intense positive emotions—tears, bliss, a sense of abundance and confidence—that can occur during exercise. Speaker A frames the phenomenon as a heart-brain effect they are beginning to study and expresses a desire to find a reproducible formula to elicit this state for everyone. The exchange is informal and experiential.
When you work out, have you ever experienced bliss? Have you ever had a time when you work out and all of a sudden you just. You want to cry? You feel absolutely so high on life and you can see everything. You. It's so good. You're so happy to be in your skin at this moment, and you feel abundance. Have you ever felt that when you work out?
Definitely. Like. Like hiking in the mountains.
Okay.
I just find myself smiling. Like, I don't know why I'm smiling. I just, like. It's incredible.
That's it.
Yeah.
So there is this phenomenon happen, the heart and the brain, that I'm trying to study, and I'm starting to understand a little bit more. But it's the time. It's just amazing because you see yourself in such a positive light, you're motivating it yourself. You're really becoming like your own cheering crowd. And it's so essential because I need that confidence. It takes a lot of strength, a lot of inner strength to do this, and that only happens to me when I work out. I want to find that formula to bring this in every workout for everyone.
