I battled an eating disorder from the age of 11. It has been a nonstop struggle. So I started studying nutrition when I was 11 because I was nuts. I learned everything is low fat, low fat, low fat, because that's what it was back then. And I starved myself from fats for 15 years, like this phobia of fats.
I've done that too.
Yeah.
Yeah. And I wasn't in good shape.
I look at my skin, my attitude, the way that I felt. And I, I just, I'm disgusted. If I look at it now, I was like eating nothing but carbs. The only fat I got was peanut butter. I went into the kitchen one day and I told my wife, you know what? I can't do this anymore. I said, I'm so miserable. Sometimes she would eat, make stuff and I wouldn't even taste it because I thought it was going to make me fat. And then I eased into it. I was doing like 93/7 meat. I would finally eat a couple whole eggs.
Like you didn't get fat. Oh my gosh.
I kept looking at myself every day and I was like, what What is happening here? Like, I'm more cut than when I was taking steroids. Wow.
