A man with chronic lymphocytic leukemia had white blood cell counts ten times normal for 4.5 years. Twenty-two treatments and oxygen therapy didn't work. After stem cell therapy, his counts dropped to half their previous level, the best result since his diagnosis.

4.5 years ago, I was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, which means that my white blood cell and lymphocyte counts have been very elevated. I'm talking, you know, 10 times more than normal. And so every 3 months I do a blood test, and the goal is obviously to make sure that they don't go higher. We want to make sure they kind of stay stable at the same number, or hopefully if there is a way to go down. The results were staggering. I had the best results I've had by far since the diagnosis. I would say they were down to almost half.
Had it ever gone down before?
Never. I did 22 treatments in a hard shell at one point. So the oxygen therapy was, was powerful, but it did not have any impact on the block. Only the stem cells did.
